10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel and well priced
6.3 Good
Pros: Terrace was very nice with a great view. Decor was interesting.
Cons: Our room was very dark with a tiny window. No vegan options in restaurant, but this is sadly common in Spain.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: One of the best places to stay. The food was great and the staff was quite attentive. Brand new rooms with a perfect location. Quiet place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of our best stays on the Camino! Drinks on the veranda, a tour of the tunnels beneath the hotel, delightful dinner, clean and well appointed room. Very very nice.
Cons: The breakfast could have been a bit better. Croissant, toast with a side of bread.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Beautiful. Well maintained. Excellent staff. Good food. Loved it!!!
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, and a cool old building with cool windows.
Cons: Breakfast and dinner both seemed expensive for what you got. The room had an odd layout - the sink wasn't even near the bathroom, and the tv was in a separate space you couldn't see from the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reserved a spacious room and it was indeed spacious. High ceilings and great style. Also had a superb dinner in the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much a perfect hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Beautifully decorated. Laundry service. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff. One of our favorites and we have stayed in dozens of nice places on this trek
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Very nicely fitted. Very contemporary. Quiet.
Cons: Did not feel welcome. Atmosphere and welcome were a little austere. I got the impression pilgrims may not be their targeted customer. We paid €75 and were put in a room in the basement with the tiniest window imaginable even though it seemed like there was low occupancy. Would rather have went somewhere cheaper with a better atmosphere. So much potential if there was a warmer welcome.

Cons: Very nice hotel. Nice relaxed feel.to it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation very new and really clean. On Camino. Very quiet. However this was the only hotel on our Camino where there was absolutely no interaction with the owner. Apart from “do you want to pay now“on our arrival. Then we never saw her again or anybody else -and on leaving just put our room key on the counter. Very unusual in Spain for this type of stay.
Cons: As I said no interaction with owner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hot shower and super soft towels after a long day on the Camino. It's a very lovely hotel, patio area in back to relax in. A hearty dinner or light breakfast is just a few steps away. IWe will definitely stay here again on our next walk.

Pros: It's in the middle of nowhere, but close to a major highway. The room was great, dinner fine and breakfast OK. But all this for a very small amount of money. Plus the owner was very helpful. Pros: We were looking for a nice little place were to stay overnight on our journey from Germany to Portugal, this hostel was really phantastic for the purpose: It offered a very good solid dinner, a nice cosy room, all perfectly tidy and working, very quiet. And Torquemada gave us a nice opportunity for a stroll after dinner with its Cathedral and history and in paticular its ancient stone bridge of the 15th century. Should the opportunity arise, we would certainly love to stay there again. And it all was superbe value for money.

Set on the largest service area of Europe, this hotel is located on the edge of the E-80 motorway. Hotel Área Suco offers a 24-hour cafeteria. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Rooms at Área Suco feature a simple décor, featuring parquet floors and wooden furniture. They include a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath, as well as a wardrobe and a desk. The service area has a large gas station, shops and car parking. The centre of Palencia is 32 km away, while Burgos is 40 minutes’ drive.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location if you are travelling to or from Portugal. Right beside the motorway, no noise though. Secure underground parking. Nice 24hrs restaurant with a supermarket for basic things. Staff are friendly, cheap fuel on site. The price for the room is super cheap compared to anything around the area. For me, I drive to and from Portugal a lot and its perfect location from Lisbon. Not sure what is around the area but I assume most people use this hotel for the same reason as me.
Cons: The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. Its quite old school. Some parts are not so clean, my shower head in the room was broken so it sprayed water everywhere! Its a truck drivers stop-over basically. If you can live with that then its fine.

6.8 Good
Pros: It was ok, easy to find.
Cons: Bed was rather firm for me, so not a very good nights sleep. The self service restaurant was ok - good variety of food but as it was sitting for hours keeping warm it was no where near as good as a local restaurant would be. Price would be about the same probably.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm comfortable room. Friendly staff. Let friendly.
Cons: A bit noisy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms comfy, clean, convenient. It is mainly a truck stop, but the hotel part is good. There is a restaurant attached and a small supermarket. The hotel is far away from the main road, that noise is not a problem. I would recommend and stay there again.
Cons: Perhaps a little more choice for breakfast, but the prices were so reasonable.
