Pros: The natural rural areas
Cons: Not really .
Pros: Very friendly and attentive hosts (Helena and Pepe). Excellent home-cooked food, chosen by our hosts to suit our palate. A tastefully converted property, combining traditional character in the stonework and carpentry with modern fittings.
Pros: Can't recommend Posada Real La Almazuela highly enough. Elena and Pepe were warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived and during our whole stay. Our evening meal and breakfast were fabulous, this place is well worth a visit
Pros: This was a wonderful stay, at an elegant mountain hotel. We were traveling by bicycle, and the hosts were very welcoming of us and our terrible language skills. The dinner and breakfast were both perfect, at a window table with a beautiful view of the countryside. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
Pros: This place is FANTASTIC! Inside this rustic building is a superb boutique hotel. Wonderful hosts. Immaculate state-of-the-art bedrooms with wonderful modern design complementing the history of the building. Bathrooms are wonderful. Beds superbly comfortable. The food prepared by Pepe is simply incredible. You MUST eat here. This will go as one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays anywhere. And the friendliest hosts you can possibly imagine.
Cons: We liked absolutely everything but it is in a VERY quiet rural village (in beautiful countryside) which we LOVED but might not suit those who like busy towns/nightlife.
Pros: Meals were delicious and staff very professional and kind at the same time. Location was amazing.
Cons: Mattress was a bit too soft. Tables at dining room were too close to each other.
Pros: This Bed and Breakfast was amazing. Elena and Pepe, the hosts, were so friendly and helpful and catered for our every comfort. They are incredibly dedicated and caring people and went the extra mile to give us anything we might want - we felt so indulged and this really enhanced the holiday feel. The village is ancient and set in amazing scenery, with many walks close by. The room was enormous and so amazingly comfortable - with all mod cons in the highest quality (loads of hot water, bath/shower, good wifi, double-glazed windows with amazing views, very comfortable bed and chairs, large bathroom), in a beautifully-kept house. Everything was very clean and well-organised. Breakfast was delicious (always started with fruit and fresh orange, followed by herby scrambled egg and cold meats and cheese with toast and oil/tomato), then home-made orange cake to finish. We also ate there for dinner three times and would recommend this to anyone staying there - the food was gourmet quality, really well-cooked, fresh and delicious, and there were a choice of really good wines too. It was a total treat. The whole experience was really relaxing. We also found loads of interesting excursions and walks to do in the area (car essential), aided by Pepe who gave us loads of maps and useful tips.
Cons: The bed was two single beds pushed together. It would have been nice if they had been fastened or clipped together as they tended to move apart leaving a crack between us.
Pros: High in the Spanish Black Mountains this hotel was extremely welcoming and our hosts made us feel immediately at home. Nothing was too much trouble and the evening meal cooked from local produce was spectacular! This was followed in the morning by an equally good breakfast . The bird life in the area, which ranged from vultures to thousands of house martins, was worth seeing on it's own.
Cons: Nothing to do with the hotel, but the village bells in both churches ring out all night (slightly out of sync) and this seems to startle every dog in the village into barking each time!!!
Pros: Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and dinner, beautiful room with a gorgeous view, and area is excellent for hiking and swimming.
Pros: Pepe is a great cook and Helena looks after your desires in a very friendly way
When you a stay at Posada De Urreci in Villanueva de Cameros, you'll be in the mountains, just steps from Sierra de Cebollera Natural Park and Sierra de la Demanda. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk.
Pros: Very traditional remote village setting. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and restful.
Cons: Food was acceptable but not great. Lots of heating in the microwave. We are vegetarians and although we could eat, it was fairly basic and expensive. No access to kitchen was offered (thought we had this based on the listing on the website). No access to tea and coffee making facilities. Due to the remoteness this would be very useful especially as dinner is not available until 9pm.
Pros: Everything and more. The landscape was stunning. The hamlet was ancient and not spoilt by modern conveniences. The locals and their dogs were friendly. Margarita could not have been more hospitable. The Posada was again ancient, but had all modern comforts. No noise at night except the wind.
Cons: I would like to have stayed another day, but they were all booked up.
Pros: This is just a hidden paradise! In the village with officially 14 inhabitants.. such a romantic and tranquil hideaway. Margarita was supernice and made us feeling like a part of her family!
Pros: Margarita is the best host! She made our honeymoon! And she is the best cook! We stayed one more night after we tasted her food!
Pros: Very pleasant stay, peace and quiet place in a historic house, to relax from big city or afer sightseeing. Very nice host. Food was delicious and cooked onsite with fresh meat and own vegatebles. Thank you Margarita!

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a dining area, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with bath and a hairdryer. A fridge, a stovetop and toaster are also provided, as well as a coffee machine. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. Venta de Piqueras offers a terrace. After a day of skiing or cycling, guests can relax in the shared lounge area. The nearest airport is Agoncillo, 79 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.
Pros: Very quiet as we were out of season. Staff eager to help.
Pros: Good value hotel for over night or short stay. Beautiful setting in National Park Forest. Looked as if the walking would be excellent and places to picnic.
Cons: Although there was a bar in the hotel and it did a nice meal it would have been interesting if the nearest bar stayed open for meals, especially on a longer stay.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was absolutely excellent! And the nature was breathtaking, I highly recommend driving the smaller roads to Logroño and enjoy what Rioja has to offer. Also, cats and dogs, goats, pigs and cows and vultures.. so many vultures!
La Posada de Hoyos de Iregua and its new Jazz Restaurant, are located in one of the emblematic buildings of Villoslada de Cameros. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, the coat of arms of the first owners, the Ochoa de Tejada family, stands out on its façade. Known as "the house of the post office", that maintains today in its low ones, it also lodged the telephone one at the beginning of the XX century. Today it preserves the original measurements of the old cabins, so each room has its size, its charm and its particular memories. From the double bed room of 150 cm, to the suite of 30 m2, the 11 comfortable, comfortable, warm and recently remodeled rooms in mattresses, trousseau and decoration, have a common denominator; spectacular views of the town, the Sierra de Cameros and the Iregua river. Come and discover this corner for rest, get lost in the streets of a town with much to tell from here and there and enjoy one of the most beautiful places of La Rioja, Sierra Cebollera, the only La Rioja natural space that has the distinction of natural park. We also have a restaurant. Jazz Restaurant fuses the new trend in gastronomy; the seasonal cuisine and sensations that take us back to childhood and grandmother's pots.
Pros: Absolutely incredible view, away from the hustle and bustle and tourists. Other comments mentioned a lot of steps but it really wasn't many at all - maximum 40 steps. Well worth it for the room and the view. A fantastic location and getaway if you are looking to relax and enjoy a slower pace.
Cons: The wifi was not very good so we could not use that but there are many other things to do anyways so it was not a problem.
Pros: Charming room with an amazing view. Good location to discover the Sierra Cebollera in La Rioja and the little towns around. Elaborated breakfast.
Cons: Overpriced. Check-in was very chaotic and they seemed really disorganised. Luckily organisation was smoother upon morning with the breakfast and check-out.
Pros: - good wifi - beautiful view in the mountains and the river - nice modern interior
Cons: - no hot water in the evening (took a cold shower) BUT in the morning there was hot water - overpriced breakfast
Pros: The room was really comfy with an amazing view. Many trails were accessible nearby. The location in villoslada was perfect. We really loved the place and even stayed one more night.
Cons: The Wi-Fi wasn't always accessible in the room.
Pros: It was very quaint place in the historic part of town. Rooms were a nice size with a big private bathroom and balcony looking over a beautiful view of the landscape and historic area. Restaurant was very relaxing and breakfast was delicious.
Pros: Happy with room but be prepared for walk to property across bridge and up ancient steps...no access via car
Cons: Poor breakfast and weekends for restaurant evening meals not convenient and forget Sundays
Pros: the owner after a rocky start was quite affable, the room was spacious and quiet, clean with a comfortable bed,
Cons: as an older client publc parking was nearby but climbing 500 steps with a suitcase isnt something i would like to repeat.
