The staff really were very very good-always a smile !
restaurant on site, good food & value location on industrial estate
Staff were superb and very helpful Location - on an Industrial Estate
well sited for our journey from Spain to the UK a little too far from the centre of Narbonne to walk, after travelling all day so the choice of restaurants was limited
Pleasant staff, nice setting.
The room looked clean, but when I got into bed there was sand in one. I was alone so used the other bed, which was fine. Everything else was clean. V basic. Tv, no fridge, ok shower. One bed was dirty. Location not great - on an industrial estate... Not clear from hotel description!
The beds were so hard it was like trying to sleep on a park bench, not good value for money
Very clean, small roadside hotel. Exactly what we expected from the chain. Nearby restaurant looked like a Denny's in America, but the food was way better.
we stayed twice at this hotel, once as we went through to Dunkirk and again on the way back, our comments are relevant to both stays
On arrival we changed our room from a twin to a double. We were informed that this would also be a cheeper room, therefore they reduced the rate. On check-out the rate had been increased again without informing us. When I questioned this I was met with a very rude responce from the person manning reception and the manageress! Extreamly rude! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
In the center of the town As usual - king size beds are small in France. The room was shabby and the bathroom old.
The staff was great, the rooms a real treat. Breakfast very good, Location ideal. Early morning (municipal) garbage collection on the street gives wake-up call !
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Location was fantastic, very close to the Cathedral and main square. The staff was for the most part, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. Hotel is general is very charming and a nice place to stay. We had two twin beds and it would have been nice for my wife and I to have a double or queen bed. The walls of the hotel are thin and you can hear people in other rooms
Old atmosphere nothing
Very friendly. Good location in Narbonne
Close to the old town, comfrtable, clean, and friendly staff.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable N/A
Excellent central position near canal and restaurants. Interesting building and history. manageress
Good value for money and free breakfast for the kids. Pool was just what was needed at the end of the day. Lots of choice on eating out in the near vacinity. Bit surprised by the location appearing to be in an industrial estate but the hotel garden hid this well and no problem with noise. Very easy to get to motorway etc.
The hotel was clean and the staff courteous. We booked the hotel as an en route stop over to Spain. A good stop over hotel/
The hotel was fine, but the directions given by your company were totally wrong, the hotel was in a totally different location to the ones you supplied, it took us two hours to find, and completely ruined our stay at the hotel. I would never recommend your directions to anyone.
hotel was clean I was going to take the train to Spain. Hotel location was not suitable for this purpose.
Close to the motorway, in fact you can see the hotel as you turn-off, so easy to find. Good standard of facilities for this class of hotel.
friendly staff, good location, pool, restaurant very reasonable found cost of alcohol and soft drinks very expensive compared to hotel next door
A nice clean hotel, ideal for a stopover when travelling. Too many mosquitos - I was badly bitten when playing with my child in the play area. It was very hard to find the hotel and the post code on the website did not direct us to the right place when using sat nav.
convenient for motorway and on-site restaurant open on sunday night The cost of beverages in the bar
very close to the highway, nice dehors for breakfast, staff very friendly directions appearing on the website are totally wrong, get off at Narbonne South, the hotel is nearby. Our room smelled terribly of cigars
Easy access from motorway.Walking distance to restaurant(s).Reception helpful & friendly for this chain 'motel' offering basic standards that are accceptable for price. No secure car park but apparently no problems historically ! & hotel is set at end of a cul de sac type Rd
Pleasant and helpful staff staff
Free Wifi, a bath, close to the motorways, good price Not very big room, distant from any amenaties
Helpful staff. Great facilities....coffee ect Access to outside area for dog. Location good for travellers not far from main routes None
if you go in october expect a windy stay on the plus side they do a good continental breakfast no bar facilities when we were there
The arrangement for a 15% discount at the Ibis hotel restaurant the duck was excillent
The hotel was quiet, clean and convenient, easy to find, decent restaurant nearby.
fine as a transit stopover and the buffet breakfast was best value for money and the nearby restaurant was convenient
Friendly & helpfull staff, comfy bed & good shower - Good Value Decor was a little tired - Could do with a resturant....
That we got a room. If something else near the city were possible to get we had take that instead. I was far away from the citycentre.
The restaurant and wine production room design a bit like motorway hotels totally out of caracter to the rest of the hotel and surorundings
The hotel was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Our room not being available until 16:00 was disappointing
Good Location and recently refurbished so everything is good condition. NO Lift - so if your on the 2nd floor as we were, suitcases had to be dragged up the narrow stairs. Room had all mod cons however too much crammed into such a small space especially in the bathroom which was very tight for space. The restaurant looked great, the food was good however the service was very slow. Some very disappointed diners, including ourselves, the night we had a meal. Breakfast the following morning was no better taking 75 minutes to get a continental breakfast. This is not the staff's fault. They are very hard working and friendly but , from what I observed during our short stay, under severe pressure to deliver the standards of service which the owners aspire to achieve without allocating sufficient resources.
The staff were excellent., the cleanliness and care taken and the general atmosphere.
A beautiful location, great wine and food. Good service at the reception and in the restaurant. The wine cellar stuff wasn't really helpful. Did not even offer the wine tasting.
The setting was beautiful and the wine tasting was a really enjoyable experience! The whole 'vineyard' experience was excellent.
pleasant location, lovely countryside, nice buildings. good breakfast - choice - and inside/outside tables. very helpful maintenance staff (when left key in room - came to assistance); friendly. Interesting to see 'wine business' at close quarters - not an easy sector. no window to open at night (prefer fresh air, not air conditionng; only possible to open french window - not practical as at garden level). Food cooked carefully, but tepid when served; waited almost one hour for service (dinner). Would prefer 'real coffee' (not from flask); minimum interaction with staff (dining room - breakfast) - one had the impression that breakfast was an intrusion as they went about their business (noisy)
Everything. Service and food, room decor particular strength.
A beautiful location among vineyards. A very peaceful place, yet with a car not very far to get to the centre of Narbonne.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool was small but adequate and quiet. The freedom to walk in the vineyards free from traffic was great. Set dinner for €26.00 including wine buffet was good value but menu didn't change. The breakfast was expensive at €12.00 for continentakt breakfast only. Cereal was not included in the breakfast price!
Liked that the hotel was in a small quiet town, but not too far from attractions and Narbonne. Lots of wineries just down the road. Very pleasant hotel with nice facilities. Great value and friendly staff! FYI, the English spoken by the staff is very minimal. Brush up on your French phrases!
excellent restuarant & freindly staff. Difficult to find , a map would help.
Everything. Very good breakfast
Pleasant little hotel in semi-rural situation a few miles outside Narbonne. Simple but well run. Fairly plain, but adequate bedrooms, particularly for the price. Parking for clients in front yard. The attached bathroom was only just adequate- very small bath indeed.
This was a very comfortable, very clean, very friendly, extremely serene place that's a short drive to the ancient town of Narbonne. We were traveling with one person who is physically disabled and they gave her and her husband a room with special amenities for the handicapped. This was the only place out of the total of 4 hotels that we stayed in that could provide such a room -- this was wonderful! They turn off the AC for the season on September 1st, and the rooms don't have extra ventilation (aside from a bathroom vent and the front door). Because my husband and I like a cool bedroom, we decided on keeping the door ajar over night, although we were on the ground floor. Given that this place is in such a small town and in such a serene setting, it seemed perfectly safe (in fact, the family that runs the hotel said that's what they did), and we slept very well.
it was so french couldnt access the internet
nice surrounding, very nice rooms esp. those with a small garden they should water the flowers in tthe back otherwise it looks so sad!
nice breakfast outside, pleasant welcome, easiness of access to a great family restaurant next door,so no need to worry about driving back to your room stuffy room, hardly able to breathe at night for lack of descent air-conditioning system, lack of privacy when windows are left open
quiet place continuous sound of the airco
Extremely friendly people; Great welcome atmosphere (due to decoration) when you arrive on a chilly evening; excellent room (we actually had the family room, tho booked a double) so very spacious). Restaurant was excellent. TV in the dining room, great shame.
The Staff waited for me even though the hotel was closed (around 23:30 on Sunday!). There was free wifi in hotel!. Bathroom was really nice and clean.
The hotel had an excellent location, close to everything we needed. The staff were very helpful.
The fact that the hotel was next to a fire station and that i was quite noisy
Staff were helpful. Garage provided for 5 bikes. Held gear for us after checkout. Told us local info clearly. Restaurant was spartan and not used by us. Noisy road but excellent double glazing that cut noise out completely
The propriter was very helpful and friendly. It was a little old and worn, but very clean.
hotel muy centrico, correcto, todo fue muy bien, totalmente recomendable.
Booked two rooms. Both had very small cramped space for WCs
A bit run down but OK for the price. Breakfast was a bit 'thin' for the cost.
The new clean hotel situated in walking distance to city tourist points. Basic but comfortable, good size room. Free internet, easy parking.
Great location, friendly helpful staff & very good value for money.
The staff were incredibly nice, and able to lend me an adaptor which I had forgotten. The room was tasteful and cheerfully decorated. The location was superb, just a few streets over from the historic centre, yet in quiet streets with easy parking. Nothing
Being able to stay at a reasonably priced hotel en route to another destination. A nice quiet area. Having to climb 3 flights of stairs with a heavy case to our room.
The breakfast was good value with table service.the hotel was not in a very nice area. We could not get into this Hotel until 1700 Hrs not the 1400 hrs as per booking.
Convenient location within walking distance of railway station and the town area.We had a limited time and budget and it suited us fine.
We did not stay long enough to form any usefull opinions the stairs 63 from bottom to top not easy with arthritic knees
