The Hotel was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The hote bedroom was quite worn.
Good value for money Very noisy guests in room next door, and poor soundproofing
Cheap, offered a triple room, though the third bed is a semii bunk bed suitable only for a small child Rooms a bit run down
Bunk bed for third bed
Great stop over for a trip through france and italy to ancona ferry and on to crete
Good value, clean hotel in good condition. Rooms were quite cramped.
Breakfast free for children.Good spot on way to the Alps Smallest room ever slept in...nobody but a machine to check you in after 9pm.The machine uses Visa to verify you but does not work with uk Visa cards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need a satnav to find it as it is on an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere!
Hotel was clean, private parking in front Some problems with room keys not working - also one of them didn't match the booking - but the mistake was rectified. Bunk beds weren't made up.
We were on a long journey. It was easy to find & offered a good evening meal. Breakfast was excellent.
good location for the main roads, very good value for money, air conditioned room a little too far out of town to walk
Restaurant was a shame
You can always rely on a good restaurant with a many choices of dishes.
Well suited for a night on a trip to or from France. Price matches comfort and situation of the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant so you don't need to enter the town for dinner. Very friendly staff.
Efficient and friendly staff on evening of arrival. Air con not working effectively; some menu drinks options unavailable; bathroom floor dirty.
Freshen up and had a meal went to bed We would just like to add that the hotel needs a complete overall.
Heating not working, although a small oil filled radiator was left in the room. It was so cold that I had to leave it on all night! Also, the tap on the band basin was loose. Not what one would expect from Campanile.
after a long journey everything was made easy i.e booking in. Done very quikly.
A comfortable hotel with good on site parking easy access to main toll roads helpful staff room smelt of smoke though marked as an no smoking room
The breakfest fascility
Free parking. Free WI-FI. Very small room. Small bed but all French beds are small: if possible twin beds are better. Breakfast too expensive (7,5 € pro person and not 6,5 € as in the description)
close to highway unfriendly staff
Receptionest, staff very nice, helpful.
comfortable room, friendly staff It was sited in an industrial estate
Generally clean and tidy with reasonable space. Kids liked wifi access and tv. Room very stuffy and smelt of smoke. When booking advised secure parking was avaliable as we had a caravan but it is not.
very nice location, close to versailles.we had the car,so no problem to reach versailles (few kms far from the hotel).no facilities around, so I won't suggest to people travelling without car.very nice receptionist.
Value for money No evening restaurant
Good value spotless No bar fridge
Location Nothing negative
we booked private parking when booking, which was not available on arrival!
large room central location room not well equiped very noisey bed and floor very expansive breakfast and dinner
The hotel is in quite a good location and the town is quite nice.
Excellent location right in the centre of town and quite superb onsite restaurant.
central location breakfast Found evening meal rather expensive compared to other hotels
Convenient and nice hotel
shower was poor
Basic, comfortable and quiet room -- -a good hotel d'etape. Good resto beside the hotel. The room was a bit stuffy....and had a faintly disagreeable smell. It was An old smoking room. We were NOT asked if we want smoking or non-smoking room.
great location right in the centre and very useful having a garage for the car
Service and simplicity of check in - check out operations. no
We asked for a transfer to Reims which was sorted out immediately by a very helpful member of staff. Reims Mercure was excellent . We will stay at Mercure hotels whenever we are in France now as we were so impressed!
They told us they were going to charge us more money because our card number we used to book it was wrong. But they did not email us to say that our card number was wrong because we had made a small error if we had known we would have immediately changed it.
Excellent room. Very friendly staff. High quality restaurant with good choice of wines. Would recommend.
restaurant very good car park free
Absolutely stunnig "belle epoque" like hotel! worth a visit just for their lift and hall. Big (and newly refurbished) room with excellent bath, big prigvate garden for hotel guests, very nice staff. Really liked it.
Location, staff, beautiful building. Room rather plain. No sitting chair.
The rooms were large and there was secure parking just up the road from the hotel, fine for overnight stop on way back from Italy to UK The rooms nearest the attractive but old lift were quite noisy.
Beautiful garden. Decor of hotel. The fantastic lift! No
Near the city. Nice room. Perfect parkingplace. Breakfast was poor. Ham, yoghurt, juice etc... were not in cold storage.
Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and all very clean. We appreciated the offer not to have to pay for breakfast because of the problems we had had. Despite plenty of space, there was no armchair in the room, only one hard chair so that one of us had to sit on the bed, the tv was not working, the water pressure in the shower was low and there was nowhere to put soap, shampoo, etc. Breakfast service was friendly and charming, but chocolate was brought when tea had been ordered, it took ages to get a decaffinated coffee and when it came it had a piece of plastic in it which was unpleasant. The croissants were finished by 8 A.M., and it took so long to get more that my husband gave up having breakfast at all. Clothes cupboard in the room needs a handle! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Lift needs modernization.
The staff were gracious and the room was spacious for a three-star hotel, recently renovated in contemporary shades of mud that I'm sure are an improvement on whatever was there before. Reasonably good soundproofing in the room at a crowded intersection. Charming garden. Hallways need some refreshing.
Rooms are very large.
City Centre 10 mins away on foot, room a haven of tranquility with view over a very large walled garden in the heart of the city. Character hotel with many original victorian period fittings and a working lift from the same period. Very calm, no restaurant but many are within walking distance
Nice hotel very convenient for travelers. There is not air conditioning, warm room.
Friendly reception. Very compact room and en-suite but clean and at the price a good choice for an overnight stop when travelling.
Hotel gives what it says it offers. Welcome and Checking in pleasant and easy. English spoken for those with difficulty with French. Although shower area small for tall/big people, the showers are good with lots of hot water. Lighting quite dull in room : Stayed in triple room - no light for top bunk. Towels are provided, but are very small...! Without SatNav, it is quite difficult to find in the dark.
Great value for an overnight stop. Easy to book and check-in. None
It is not true that guests have acces to internet. Lack of komputer
Good breakfast at reasonable price.Regular bus at door into city centre. Shower cubicle small.
Freindly staff. Room was dirty, very noisey, entrance door opened when closed WC door!
The only problem was the poor map and directions
Excelent staff performance Smelly room, small room, uncomfortable
None Room had a 'musty' smell - carpet felt sticky and room generally cheap. Breakfast staff helpfull, but tried to overcharge when booking out - first said that the twin room was more (referreed to the confirmation e-mail) - then said that it was more because it was a weekend - again referred to the dates on the e-mail - grudgingly changed the amount. Noticed afterwards that they had charged more for the breakfast than that quoted on booking, but just glad to be out of there.
It was clean, centrally located and there is free public parking right across the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was of good quality and the pillows and sheets were very clean. The rooms were painted in a strange myriad of colors. The unique 'broyeur' feature in the toilets was also bizarre and very noisy. Hotel speaks of a bygone era and has a somewhat depressing feeling about it. OK for one night in case of necessity.
