Pros: we were 2 couples and a baby. The owners did everything to make us comfortable. excellent hospitality, contact. we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: everything was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hosts, and our own suite of rooms, spotlessly clean, and beautifully fitted out, with better facilities than many top quality hotels. And all that before the amazing included breakfast. Words cannot describe how good this Chambre d'Hote is. Stunning value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My hosts were extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome on my arrival and made sure that my bike was securely stored overnight in the garage. I had a well stocked fridge with a beer to watch the World Cup in the comfortable lounge area. The only thing that couldn't be guaranteed was an English victory! Oodles of space, good WiFi, amazing breakfast and fantastic location next to the canal.
Cons: The windows were frosted so ensured privacy however I would have liked to have seen curtains in the bedroom to block the morning sun. The bed was so comfy and I was so tired from cycling I slept perfectly in any case.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, very friendly owners but didn't intrude. Situated beside the canal so great for going for a walk along. Near small beautiful village (3km)
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic people who greeted us, very welcoming . The whole place was just a delight, comfortable, clean , tastefully decorated and spacious. The breakfast was magnificent , very personal touches to it and extremely tasty.
Cons: Nearer location of a restaurant for evening meal would have been a bonus. A little bit worried about the parking facilities as it was awkward to reverse out onto a road on a blind corner.

7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms.
Cons: Very poor reception - Receptionist seemed very abrupt. No bar or restaurant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a more central hotel, but it was a short drive from this one to the town centre. The manager was a personable, friendly and efficient young man. The room was more spacious, and better furnished than we anticipated; the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant but, at €12, a little dear.
Cons: For what the hotel set out to be, I don't think any criticism would be fair.
5.0 Okay
Pros: good parking
Cons: out of the way and a little dated ,air con not working
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff at checkout was extremely kind and helpful. We also enjoyed the tea and coffee available in the room and the lobby.
Cons: We didn’t purchase the breakfast because we thought the price was a little high for continental; however, we did not see the food which was available so it may have been worth the money.

Pros: We booked the hotel because we needed a place to stay over night. The first impressions was excellent, the second even better. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is just next to a major motorway. But very well insulated against noise. We liked it a lot.

6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, quiet and clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was good value. The room was large and in good condition. The Internet worked straight off, no problems. The continental breatfast is one of the cheapest, I have had on my holidays, but gave the best value. It is quite early and is problably orientated toward the business rather the tourist traveller.

Pros: Very friendly hosts. The decoration is super nice and feels very homely. The host is a portrait artist and her work is amazing and is around the house. Its very clean. Good, large kitchen with free tea coffee etc. Washing machine and dryer for 5 euro total was reasonable.
Cons: The bed sinks a little. The bathtub didn't seem to have very hot water, just warm water. Warm enough to use but not enough to be great. (I shouldn't be complaining, I didn't expect a bathtub for this price anyway).

8.3 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous old but well-maintained house with lots of character (wood staircase, mosaic tile floors, etc.). Our room was modern - and very large. The shower could easily fit three people. We didn't eat in the hotel but took a peek in the dining hall, which looks like it probably did in the 30s. Grand.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and professional staff with a very personalized service, both for dinner and breakfast... oooh, and what a breakfast! Not too far from town (walking). Nice backyard. I strongly advise to stay for dinner... it was an amazing experience.
Cons: The common corridors on the room levels and the room-doors need an upgrade (but the rooms are good, and the lobby is beautiful)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Vwry clean and friendly hosts
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect - just a stone's throw from the train station. The hotel staff were also very nice and friendly.
Cons: The bathroom light was flickering - so it was a bit annoying. But we didn't bother to call the desk, since we checked in late and will be checking out early the next day anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the train station, sanctuary of the sacred heart ; helpful staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is great. Less than 2 minute walking distance from the Train Station.
Cons: All went well
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was much more luxurious than we had expected . We arrived on bicycles and they had excellent storage facilities. The dinner was beautiful, the best on our 20 day trip!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right by the train station and within walking distance of town, the old part and the pedestrian part. The room was really big which felt very good. The hotel was recently renovated and now very comfortable. I would stay there again for a day or two. It can be recommended. The breakfast for €12 per person sounded high but was delicious and plentiful, with lots of fruit (strawberries of the season) and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Really worth it!
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We chose this hotel 'on spec' and it was wonderful. The staff were terrific, the room large and comfortable. Private parking on site. Help with luggage. Wonderful Michelin star restaurant. We only wanted a main course but were plied with mise en bouche, petite fours etc at no extra cost. Intricate and interesting menu. Fabulous breakfast (extra but not eye-watering cost). Beautiful historic town.
Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like which is very unusual. In fact I rave about this hotel and hope to return next time we are crossing France.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is exceptionally good. The meals were the best we have had in over 20 years of visiting France. The chef deserves the highest praise (and probably an award from Michelin!).
Cons: No complaints.

See hotel page In the historical centre of Paray-le-Monial there is a former coaching inn. Today, that inn is a charming 3-star hotel that perfectly reflects the surrounding city of Sacr Coeur: timeless, classic, and welcoming. There, Philippe and Marie-France Cristofoli make the art of living into a one-of-a-kind experience, to which their incredible hospitality is the perfect finishing touch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant and hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, lunch. Excellent quality and variety
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly manageress
Cons: Insufficient storage space in room
6.8 Good
Pros: The friendly hotel dog, the price was good, it was a little dated but adequate for a one night stay
Cons: The meal was horrendous and the place was very dated with a strange owner, not overly clean and parking was extra :(
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good and satisfying
Cons: There was no lift for my room, resulting in having to lift my 3heavy bags via the stairs
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good (clean, easy access, good location, very quiet place, comfortable bed) . I will definitely stay again. And I will try the breakfast to the hotel next time. Regarding the parking (I didn't had a car this time, but I asked information in case I will need next time): there is vis-a-vis a covered parking for the hotel guests, for which you have to pay extra 6,7 euros per day.
Cons: All good, nothing to complain of. I will definitely stay again. And I'm planning to try the breakfast at the hotel next time!
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Helpful staff.
Cons: Poor quality coffee at breakfast. Odors were unpleasant- mold in common area, faint urine in room, cigarette smoking outdoors on site forced us to close windows. Overall feel was of tired and worn furnishings in need of renovation.
7.5 Good
Pros: Second stay and restaurant was as good as ever.
Cons: Room was a good size and bed comfortable but cheap suite was small with a click clack. In general the decor is tired with paper coming off wall in toilet, strange electric flush in toilet, furniture dated and a bit tatty in areas getting to room. In general the old part needs to be completely redecorated. Only problem is the price may go up ha.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was superb. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Car parking was in a private garage. A traditional franchise hotel in the best possible way
Cons: It was very difficult to find, Paray le Monial did not show many hotel signs unlike most French towns. We found it almost by accident.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, including the parking arrangements was excellent. The hotel was delightfully traditional and we will certainly return. Dinner at the hotel was extremely good value for its cost with an extensive wine list.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: ------------------------------
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We are a family of seven people, and the space was really great for us. Everything was clean, and there was even a kitchen. When we asked for a travel cot for the baby last minute, this was readily provided. The breakfast was outstanding.
Cons: The only thing that was missing was separators between the various bedrooms. With small children it is useful to have those so that they do not disturb each other. Also, staff hardly speak English, so communication might be hampered. My French is OK, but I assume others might have problems.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family run b&b.
Cons: Out of town.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Room was very nice and spacious. The Wi-Fi worked very well and there was free parking on the property. The Breakfast was good. There was a garage and supermarket very close by. There was use of a kitchen and fridge for your use. There was plenty of outdoor seating. The Owner was very nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: WiFi might be faster
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room, food at the restaurant and breakfast very good
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice roadside hotel with a very good restaurant attached. Super convenient place to stop when traveling through. All the rooms are ground floor and you park your car in front of your window. The room was spacious, clean, some elements recently updated, nice big bathroom, huge and very comfortable bed, also mini fridge and kettle provided in the room. We had tasty take away pizza from the restaurant but if we arrived earlier we would've gone for a sit down meal. The place was quite busy on Sat evening. The local beef stakes did look very nice. Staff in the hotel very friendly and looks like out of hours you can do self check-in from the vending machine outside reception door. There's a big supermarket, petrol station 5 mins drive away and also a few other restaurant options nearby.
Cons: The carpet in the room is probably overdue a change but not that we saw this as a huge issue. Surprised the restaurant menu wasn't provided in the room (but you can find it online),
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Motel type accommodation, very handy to back your car up to the door to facilitate loading/unloading. Clean and comfortable beds, separate toilet and bathroom.
Cons: Nothing much to grumble about but it would have been nice to have a more generous supply of tea/coffee etc. in the room.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Good sized comfortable room with plenty of lighting and sockets. Attractive gardens with mature trees and animals. Excellent tasty evening meal - three generous courses and wine for 20€
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel suited our purpose being right next to the canal bike route. However, that is pretty much all it has going for it.
Cons: The hotel is very tired - really needs a serious renovation of just about everything. It's a sort of time capsule of 1970s motel and hasn't been well maintained or cleaned over the years.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist and waitress were super friendly!
7.0 Good
Pros: We liked the swimming pool in the hot weather and It was nice to feed the pet goats. The cycle lane alongside the canal was really good to get in to the village. Thank you.
Cons: It would have been good to have an electric jug in our room to make a cup of tea or coffee.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect!
7.5 Good
Pros: It was good but sober. The nearby restaurant made our short stay good.
Cons: The B&B is on a location far away from other activities. For an night stay on travelingit is oke.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean . Air Con worked. It was 42C when we got there. Location good once we found it. Near shopping centre and petrol
Cons: Although we had an email with the booking number . There was no indication that we needed the number to get the printout for the front & room doors code and to obtain the room number at 15:00 hrs because there was no reception staff there. I did specifically ask them what happened if we arrived at 23.00hrs and was told we could get it then using the terminal on the front door. I think it should be made much clearer that you need to take the code with you and it is the normal method of entry. To get in we ended up ringing a Paris based call centre (in 42C heat) and waiting 10 minutes to get an answer, By this time a queue had formed behind us. We had no apology and only hostile questioning about our booking until someone who spoke English managed to sort it out. Not what you need after a 5 hour drive. Finding the hotel was a nightmare. The postal code took us into a car scrapyard. A simple instruction that it was on Exit 99 off road N99 would have been much more helpful. Sign posting in the town to B&B Hotel was poor and unhelpful. Never been to hotel without a toilet roll holder before
7.0 Good
Pros: Functional room, with air conditioning, which was very good on a warm summer day.
Cons: Breakfast was very limited as choice, would rather not take it. The reception opening hours should be updated on booking.com.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really confy and clean
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location for our purposes, ample free parking, clean and comfortable beds.
Cons: We have stayed in B&B chain hotels before and knew what to expect, small rooms but clean and good value accommodation. however this one is beginning to show its age and requires some refurbishment, for example the plug in the was basin sink did not work and one of the bedside lamps was inoperative. We reported these defects to the young lady receptionist but she just shrugged. Minimal breakfast is poor value
