very friendly and efficient
We used this hotel for transit through Split - good location and staff.
Small, tidy, and cozy hotel situated near the split airport. We stay just one night as we had early-morning flight but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our rate included a breakfast but our flight was leaving too early, the staff packed us a tour go breakfast and helped us with our luggage. They also offer a free airport shuttle on demand. Nothing
Very clean and courteous. Excellent for those wanting efficient airport transportation.
Good value for money. Staff friendly and room clean and tidy. Provided a babycot with clean, fresh linen. Located near the airport which was very convenient after a arriving late at night.
It was well appointed and extremely handy for the Airport, but most of all the staff were really friendly, in particular Ivona who made our stay so enjoyable, we wish to thank her for making us so welcome.
Beautifully equiped but extremely small room
Great location, friendly staff.
The hotel was a well run and friendly family business. They were very helpful and kind when I injured my foot and needed extra support. Having hurt my foot I would have appreciated a lift to my second floor room, but it's a small hotel and I don't know where they could have put one.
Kind personel, the hotel is placed really nice, good restaurent, free parking near hotel
Hotel Trogir was a nice hotel. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Not very big, but okey for just a couple of days. The price was okey. Okey breakfast included. Only downside was the personal. They knew very little about Trogir and actually gave us wrong information about ferry times. They also did not seem familiar with booking.com and payment procedure. Would stay there again.
A well-located and comfortable hotel. It would have been useful to know the parking arrangements before our arrival.
Freindly helpful staff. Comfortable bed with all usual facilities in room. Spotlessly clean. We were lucky to get the room with balcony. No tea or coffee making facilities in room (but I know this is normal in some countries). Room not very large.
The shutters, the shower for croatia was nice and big the bathroom amenties The street noise is very loud
The staff of the hotel was very kind and polite and the lokation of the hotel was more than perfect. To get parkingplace close to the hotel because of the narrow streets in the downtown was sometimes not easy but at the end allways successfull:-)
The room was very comfortable, the staff were above and beyond helpful and accomidating. Our room had a lovely patio with a great veiw. There was no elevator, but staff did help with our luggage. This is not a complaint, ment just for information to other travelers. The hotel was great
Balcony sea view Bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced. Room was not cleaned nor were beds made.
Good size clean family room with 2 nice bathrooms and a great sea view only 10 minutes from central Trogir by water taxi.
Very peaceful and quiet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not much within walking distance.
very friendly staff
This is a truly great hotel. With amazing staff members. Location is prime. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Everyone was so kind and helpful. Great to find a gym in the basement and the rooms were great for what we paid. The area the hotel was in wasn't the greatest, but other than that there were no complaints.
Very funky room and bathroom. Excellent location. No.
Very good locaction, interesting and quite garden, good breakfast ($), and staff(we really only saw one person) was great. Did not take plastic.
Helpful and friendly staff. Great location Nothing to complain about.
The friendliness of the owners. The excllent service given by Senella the memeber of their staff They should make arrangements with credit card companies. Fire regualtions should be reviewed
Great location with views of the water through the palm trees and yachts. Next to yacht club so could access there facilities like washing machines.
view from balcony Rooms were rather small
There was an amazing view from my balcony overlooking the marina. I felt really peaceful and calm during my stay - exactly what I wanted. The art and sculptures around the hotel were beautiful. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly. I'm not sure if I dropped on a particular party weekend, but there was quite loud music from across the marina from a couple of the bars. Also my towels were changed every day, which I though unneccessary and a bit unenvironmental.
We loved the avant garde feel of the garden; the close proximity of the marina and old city. The staff were great, especially Antonia; she was wonderful, cheerful and very kind. Seve, the dog, is adorable. Altogether made us feel very relaxed. leaving!!!
The location was perfect for walking into the town- about 5 mins over the bridge along side the marina and there were supermarkets/ bars/ restaurants near by. You also got a beautiful view of the marina and town when you walked out of the gates. The hotel setting was beautiful with balconies to sit out on, palm trees and lemon trees were around the garden to give a real sense of being "on holiday abroad". Staff were helpful. There was a busy road towards the front of the hotel but the double glazing was very good so it wasn't a real problem at all (and with the air-con to cool you down if nesessary apart from airing the room maybe during the day, the window didn't need to be open!
A large house by the ACI Marina, actually on the island of Ciovo which connects to Trogir by a bridge 200 metres from the Domus. The room had good aircon, adequate bathroom with shower and a balcony overlooking the garden with it trees and several sculptures created by the owner. A couple of pergola/tent affairs in the garden are used for breakfast or just lounging with a book, beer/wine etc. Great location, great value, beautiful outlook.
New modern hotel. Nice rooms, bathroom design was excellent. Pillows too firm. No facecloth.
Very convenient location to the old city, about 300 yards away..
Great location with a very short walk to the old town. Informative staff. Very close - 5 minutes - to the Split airport. We also stayed in Split at the start of our vacation but based on our experience in Trogir I would stay there and just take a very short ferry to Split to see the town etc.
We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel, in particular the high standard of furniture and fittings. The location is excellent, our room had a superb view of the old town of Trogir. Best of all were the staff, very friendly and helpful. We had a late arrival and were dealt with very promptly and politely, and a taxi was arranged for us early the following morning.
It was central, the staff helpful and very friendly Breakfast perhaps not up to 4 star hotel standard..
We stayed in the superior apartment. The finishings were to a very high standard and we were wowed from the start. The one balcony had great views over the old town of Trogir and the other over the sea. The hotel is very close to the old town (less than 5 minutes walk) and we loved our stay here. Would recommend the hotel without a doubt. Some people did mention that the hotel was in the flightpath, but it was never a problem for us. We were out walking during the day and returned later in the evening (to take great photos from the balcony) at which time no planes were landing.
hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. really felt like they strove to achieve true hospitality. they facilitated pickups superbly and the whole experience with them was all a traveller could wish for and more.
The room was really nice!!! Would have been nice to be closer to the "old town"...
Close to the old town and port. Comfortable and very new and modern enterieur. Far from the beach. A bit noisy because of the airplanes.
The apartment was in a great central location and was excellent value for money. The lady who met us was extremely helpful and friendly. The balcony was an added bonus to this otherwise clean and spacious apartment, I would definitely recommend house Ivancic.
Location is perfect - in the center of the Middle Ages town. The owner is not very friendly.
The bed and the location was okay The room was freezing cold. The bathroom smelled really bad. The telly didn't work.
Central location, clean, stylish, well appointed apartment, convenient for a short stay. A bit noisy at night
Fantastic cosy but chic room with a shower room in a building right near the centre of Trogir. Close the window and put on the air conditioning and you're in your own world and what a comfy bed! Perfect for our needs. (NB. I incorrectly wrote this review for Pension Palac in Baska Voda...the review was supposed to be for House Ivancic so please ignore if you see the same info on the Pension Palac page) Not the easiest place to find (no signage) but the staff were really helpful on the phone and in person. Also the twin beds don't meet that well when they're drawn together to make a double bed. Not really a problem depending on your requirements.
The room was too small and there is no facilities at all in the "hotel". However it's situated in the middle of the old town so everything you need is available within short distance. The room
Excellent location, friendly helpful owner
The guy waited for us until 2:00 in the morning, as we were driving in and had a few problems. He was super nice, and the room itself was perfect, very comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location right in the middle of Trogir.
the apartment was very central, but good double glazing prevented noise being an issue. Lovely light and airy apartment. Great shower, comfy bed and air con. would have been good to have anti- mosquito appliance. We only stayed for a night so did not bring anything and got badly bitten !
Quiet and very clean apartment in a central location. It is just as it looks in the photos. Would definitely go back.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Big rooms, good value for money. Close to the wonderful city of Trogir.
Hotel was on a hillside with many stairs to get to Lobby and our room with no ramps and no bellhops to carry luggage. We had to carry our luggage up several levels of stairs first to the lobby then to the room. We viewed several elderly guests attempting to do the same thing.
The rooms, although small, were well-appointed. The ones we were in faced the sea and had a lovely lawn and trees in front. The sea was so handy and we got the wonderful sea breeze. A fridge would have been useful. The breakfast staff is plentiful and yet did not keep the buffet replenished with food and dishes. Breakfast buffet has very limited choices.
Really nice, friendly hotel. Not very busy while we were there and everyone was getting ready for the start of the season. Lots of cleaning and refurbishment. All very nice, but not flash. Definately one of the best hotels we saw in the area. Lovely location overlooking the sea and surronded by pines. Would definately stay again and would recomend it.
nice staff, efforts to keep up exceptional lawn, recently renovated clean room, reliable A/C, fresh towels, beach facilities, excellent meals on restaurant balcony, good transport facilities to Trogir Actually no. (as to quality of sea and view you must put up with the fact that Trogir bay is not the open sea, you might prefer a swimmingpool with sea water, installing coffee machines in the restaurant would be nice)
The hotel is very well situated and the surroundings are superb. Very good accommodation, facilities and rooms... Some of the hotel-staff weren't as friendly as others. We persume that it was due to the end of the tourist-season. A trip to this hotel should be by car, while other cities and hot-spots are quite far away and hard to go to with public transportation.
Location could not be better, as it is quiet, yet very close to Trogir You can not get a piece of cake for 5 o'clock tea/cofee. Only pizza with
Location Staff service and attitude was poor.
View Check in says 12.00pm. Went there at 12.30pm, waited 30 mins for a room. Turned out to be a smoking room (which we requested a non smoking room). Waited another 30 mins (1 hour in total) to get a room. Staff not friendly at all, did not offer us even a drink during our waiting period.
Hotel Rotondo has a lift which was greatly appreciated as we had some very heavy bags. It was beautifully clean, very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Just what was needed after 36 hours of air travel. Internet access was provided free. Not wireless but a cable was provided at reception. Reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The soap provided was very harsh on the skin. We booked dinner which was very thoughtfully provided at 8.30p.m. but I do not think I would bother again. Having said that, the meal was quite good for Croatian cuisine - very basic and very salty.
excellent staff - upgraded room and treated wonderfully for our honeymoon.
Near the airport, helpful staff, versatile breakfast
Silent surrounding, Bus connection with Trogir, Food on a low level
Large balcony. The hotel staff was a little bit unprepared for this job. Cleaning was only satisfactory.
The staff from the moment of checkin were more than accomodating with reviews of local attractions services that were unbiased. The resteraunt was exceptionally good value for money and the suggestions for both food and wine were fair and well appreciated. I would have (and actually already have) no compunction to recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was excellant lots of choice and relaxing atmosphere Bathroom good do with updating
Good breakfast, spacious room, quiet, parking in front of the hotel.
good location potential to be a good hotel, but everything needed a facelift. breakfast was a let down with stale bread
nice folks, nice room, nice service, great cleaning lady that spoke english and was very helpful. out of town and out of the way. i was there only for one night to catch a flight the next day. hoped to sightsee but the hotel was not near anything.
We received a warm welcome from staff. It was quite a long way out of town and a long drive from the airport.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the setting idyllic. It was off the beaten track but easily accessible and convenient for Split airport. Lovely room with a wonderful view. Great value. No
Nice hotel in central Trogir. Excellent location. Since the hotel was recently redecorated and otherwise very nice indeed, it was very surprising that both the water tap in our bathroom was loose, that the shower was leaking considerable amounts of water on the bathroom-floor and that the defunct light-bulb over the mirror in the bathroom was not changed. Besides the safe in the room didn't work; it was locked. Suprprising that they had not see this themselves. When we had asked about the safe and nothing happened, we could not spend our holiday on the three other things which they could well see themselves. So we smiled politely and hope that this feedback will help them. If this is fixed, we would like to come back and alsp to recommend the place.
The decor of the room and its proximity to the old town. problem getting wireless access - would not work for us. Clearer instruction on locating the car park.
The old style furnishings and traditional Croatian menu created an authentic experience. I didn't enjoy carrying our bags up three flights of stairs with no help from staff.
Delightful staff , friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning after a very early flight and our rooms were already available at 0930 charmiong rooms in a .great location breakfast not great = poor quality fruit juice and a weird coffee machine, but excellent eggs or omelettes ofered as part of the deal
The quaint features and intimate size, only 7 or 8 rooms. The room was two twin beds pushed together, would have preferred a larger bed for two.
Excellent location-proximity to everything worth seeing. Nice rooms. Clean. Do not follow booking.com instructions to reach hotel! Do not believe what booking.com tells you about free parking! No free parking: 10 euros a day with hotel's parking card.
The hotel was charming with antique furniture, but also modern conveniences. It was located in a quiet area of Trogir which we appreciated as we were trying to adjust to the time change from the US. Dragging our luggage up the stairs, but it was a good upper body work out.
Great location in Trogir. Lovely old antiques in the rooms--felt very luxurious. Nice staff--very helpful. Breakfast was good. thought about eating dinner there also, but our friends chose elsewhere. Hard to lug our too-heavy suitcases up the stairs.
Location and safety
Friendly staff. Restauarant downstairs. Decent pebble beAch close by. There wasn't a full English breakfast as stated on the confirmation. It was a European/continental breakfast. Also I found out that they didn't accept any form of card for payment so I had to be taken to the bank!
Friendly staff with great personality Just little bit on a busy main street
Very clean and handy for Trogir and the airport food excellect
easy access from the airport. easy access to trogir
full range of bar and dining facilities.Close to the old city.pleasant balcony traffic noise was considerable
1. Pleasant, helpful staff. 2. The free airport transport. 1. Noise: my room overlooked the main/only Split-Trogir road which resembles a racetrack day and night. 2. The beds were of poor quality.
The room was comfortable and clean, the patio restaurant was pleasant. Was quiet enough, even thought the airport was close. The staff were not overly welcoming, the room telephone wouldn't accept more than 6 numbers (tried to call home, international call), they seemed surprisingly inable to cope with a guest who had an early morning flight to the airport, despite being so close. Nowhere to drop off the key at 5:30 am, so left it in the room.
Room was clean & comfortable.
the position of the hotel very close to the airport and the quality of rooms
Clean good value hotel near Split airport. In suburban location but walkable distance from historic Trogir. Free parking. Family owned. Lack of footway on busy road makes journey on foot a little hazardous, especially at night. Some double rooms have extra single bed which makes the rooms a bit cramped.
Excellent staff, very helpful with good communication skills. Easy to find with good parking in a congested town. Would stay again.
TV good, bed good, quite close to city center the room smelled! couldn't sleep well because of the noise. you couldn't even open the window at night because of the smell outside (the hotel seems to be located in an industrial area)
Place was not awful, but not great. The breakfast was actually pretty good and the rooms were ok - just not for the money. The place is located on a busy (and loud) street, right across the bridge from the city. The rooms are quite plain and there is not much of a view. Our air conditioner worked, which is a plus, but it was really loud and woke us up at 5am. For the money, this place was not worth it.
Very friendly staff. Large rooms with large beds!
The friendly and helpful staff Location to the busy road
Good location, facilities & price. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
It was very convenient to shop at Trogir, very clean, and the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very accommodating The hotel advertised having a washer and dryer, which we needed, but it did not have this convenience, however they did take our soiled clothes and wash them for us. We did appreciate this. The one thing that bothered me most wasnot taking my credit card. We had to come up with the cash which we found to be a problem and they would not take travelers checks which also was a problem.
The staff were excellent. They were very pleasant & more than helpful. The location was perfect. n/a
Excellent location for Trogir and Split. Hotel staff went bpout of their way to help when we had a medical issue. Would use this hotel again.
Everything was excellent. Spacious room, rich continental breakfast, good location-near center of city Trogir. 10 minutes from the beach by taxi boat. Very friendship service. I hope to spend my new vacations in this hotel.
The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk out of the old town of Trogir. No lift and quite noisy as it located close to a main road. Air conditioning didnt work and the hotel was closed during the day.
The location was ideal. It was quiet at night even though the airport is so close and very comfortable. We could easily walk into the historic centre and to the station points for the boat trips. The room was very clean and a good size too.A great find!
Politeness of its employees and assistance provided. No
The standard of accommodation was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend highly
There was no kitchen or kitchenett. That was negative suprise, because it was classified "apartment".
The Location is great, only 200 meters from the old city of trogir. big fruit market 150 meters away. The appartments are new and really nice with everything you need. when arriving from split on a bus, you just walk 400 meters and you are at the appartments, and there is a supermarket, ribbola, under the appartments, withs is very convinient:)
The hotel was very conveniently located just a 5 minute walk from the old town of Trogir, on the main road. Though this could mean abit of noise, we found that we had no problems with our room on the side of the hotel. It was modern, clean and professional and has free parking. It is very close to a couple of supermarkets as well. Very convenient for Split airport as well - just a 5 minute drive. As it is just off the main road, it is not in the most attractive of locations, but the convenience to the old town was excellent.
This hotel is really nice, it´s very new and only 2 minutes walking from the center. Definitively we´ll recommend and we´ll come as soon as it possible. Nothing.
The owners & staff are very friendly and helpful and the appartment was functional and clean. Also, the location is excellent - just 3mins walk to the town centre of Trogir (and just a 15min drive from Split airport). The appartment we stayed in was very loud (we could hear both, the noise from the main road in front of the house as well as from the neighbours really well throughout the night...). Also, the appartment was quite small - really just one room instead of an appartment and no space to sit & relax.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Very close to old town
The friendly and helpful staff and the clean and comfortable rooms No, it was great!
Staff was very nice! I stayed there for 2 nights and then came back for one more night in the end of my trip. It is very close to Split Airport, so it will take just 10 mins to get there.
new place small room, the place is far away from activities (restaurants, downtown, etc), in the middle of a residential block
Great location, hospitable host, absolutely beautiful view from the balcony, perfect for what we wanted in Hvar.
Clean and comfortable, friendly service. As foreigers to the country, it was relatively easy to find the villa because of the big name painted on the wall. The restaurant attached has good food. We had a good experience. Many steps to climb with heavy bags (as in many other hotels).
It was very convenient for Split airport, well signed from the road and had private parking right next to the entrance. Friendly staff, and the beach was within easy walking distance. The bed was very uncomfortable with a thin matress and lumpy pillow. There was a large patch of damp and black mould in a corner of the ceiling. No food was available in the evening, although the description had said restaurant on the premises.
We arrieved at the Villa Cezar in the evening and descover that our accomodation was in an other location. The owners were nice people, but was not what we expected - see view. Too far from the see and this information was not meantion when we did the reservation.
Checking out was extreamly slow
