this is a new hotel the location is very far from the city center and no lift
Good place to visit the area. Clean rooms. The rooms are very small. No chair in the room. Noisy hotel. The hotel is not ready. There's no terrace, no children´s play area and no garden with benches. There's no stylish restaurant yet. We don't recommend the hotel. Maby next year when it's finished?
I had a great deal of difficulty in securing a replacement for a missing HSBC credit card and the staff was helpful in getting the HSBC office to send along a relpacement. Unfortunately, although they claimed the card was mailed to me at the Plytoun Hotel, it never arrived, despite the staff's efforts. it was a bit far from the center of Liberec.
Loved the room design, very clean, friendly and helpful stuff. Can't but recommend. Would and will certainly stay there again.
Nice and new. Good restaurant. Modern rooms. Guys in the restaurant very helpful and with good English. Breakfast is a good value for money Very soft beds, girl at the reception desk with poor English
Very nice crew Only Thai and Japanese dishes
It is very quiet there, the hotel is brandnew. Staff are friendly, breakfast is excellent compared to other Czech hotels. Very short connection to the highway. bathrooms are small, at least a place for the toilet-bag would help.
A very nice design hotel surrounded by rural czech landscapes in a little town in the north. Good quality for an Ikea based room decoration. Only negative point: the booked Luxury-room was not any more available at our arrival and we really had to be very persuasive to get a double room instead of the triple room the guy at the reception board proposed. In the future, how can we do to be absolutely sure to get the booked room on Booking.com?
only distance from city centre, it should of said how far out it was
We felt right at home in a room full of IKEA-furniture. :-) The room was great - big, clean, no aircondition but still good/cool air in the room. Free internet is a big plus! Great, nice staff, who gave excellent restaurant tips in town (Ambiente - great food!). No english menu in the hotel restaurant, no english speaking waiters/waitresses - only one spoke a little german. And the hotel breakfast has for emprovement.
Apartment for 4 is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and windows can be opened fully so it's quite airy. The restaurant downstairs is cheap and highly recommended for evening meals, although the breakfasts weren't to our taste. Convenient for access to sports facilities at the Arena and for the Nisa shopping centre. The room wasn't overly clean when we arrived although this was rectified during our stay. Be aware that the hotel isn't in the centre of Liberec and a car is necessary from this location. Parking can be tight, particularly in the evening when the restaurant is busy. No lift, which is inconvenient if you have a lot of heavy luggage and a room on the third floor!
Small but very nice and cleans rooms. Best price quality deal from a two week tour through Czechia. Do ask for a room at the back side as the hotel is at the exit of the highway. The beds are very low, for me this was not a problem, but I don't advise this to people with difficulties on low beds. However the whole hotel was oriented to young guests. The room was small like a luxery caravan. You have to "close" the table if you want to walk comfortably, and you had to put the chair first or you couldn't pass anymore. If you can live with this attentionpoints, definitely best choice.
Friendliness of staff - price - comfort
The room was not available, wanted to give room twice the price ! When I refused they gived me the room forthe reserved priced, the bed was very bad and to big for the room further facilities are not there, you need to go to the restaurant beside the hotel.
Great hotel and staff, Liberec is nice city, we enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back soon
very big room, compteble beds, good kitchen, clean no elevator
Hotel was easy to find. First room was a little bit smelly, so we asked for another. No prob and one minute later we had a new room. Good hotel for a one night stopover.
Very good location in the town center. Good and reasonable price restaurants in the neigborhood. Friendly and helpful personnel mainly with very good English skills. The apartment with separate bedroom was spacious and peaceful. Nice easy access mountain hiking paths in the area, even for families with children. During our visit the weather was extremely hot and the air conditioning would have been necessary.
We were given a corner suite...enormous. Very comfortable. Excellent location in the lovely town centre and yet only a short tram ride from the station.
Well appointed room - clean and good size. Friendly receptionist. Had a meal in restaurant and this was quiet with excellent food. Breakfast good. Coffee machine difficult to understand at breakfast.
For the purpose of our visit (theater) the location was perfect. Staff helpfull, room spacious. Party going on outside of our windows: that, of course, cannot be changed by the hotel management.
Great location in the centre of the city. Clean, comfortable, quiet place. The breakfast.
The common areas of the building are really an art nouveau treasure and historically important, the location is perfect and some of the rooms have great views but the rooms are really basic (good value for the price but redone cheaply in the 90's) but very clean and very friendly staff.
It was central, so easy to get everywhere. Staff helpful.
the location of the hotel is very good, the parking is convinient, some of the staff is excellent and very helpfull terrible, and once again, terrible food! Is it that difficult to understand that people want healthy breakfast? In this hotel, you can only dream of fresh fruit and good tee for breakfast, the hotel is OK, if you eat somewhere else
Magnificent view from the window. Great localisation. Fine and safe parking. Poor breakfast.
the hotel staff was very helpfull and had excellent knowledge about the town the breakfast menu ( the fruit looked rather tired and sad)
Hotel Praha is a beautiful hotel with amazing Art Nouveau design and decor. It is located immediately next to the Town Hall on the main square. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating.
More modern TV-set nothing
Staff Excellent, Room Good. Art Noveau aspects superb The breakfast is limited.
Due to some kind of energy savings programme heating was switched off for one hour 4 times a day - consequently there was rather cold in the room (when we arrived it was probably just +10 degrees celsium and never higher than some +17)
Phantastic site, far outside of town. The description said something about a breakfast. This is a laugh in "modern times", it has a selection of 4 "menues", scrambled eggs or fried eggs with ham (didn't see much of the latter) they call it hemenex, and two others. The sauna was out of order, light in the rooms was poor and needed fixing, the heating in the rooms is centrally activated at 8p.M. only. Better never take the only room in the ground floor (this is the ECONOMY-room), it gets all the noise. We took 2 rooms and they wanted to put us in two different floors... The rooms in the upper floors are better and get more silence. Internet in the house is a laugh, and they tell you that once you arrived. Intermittent breaks in service and very poor signal.
Girl on the reception was very helpful. The hotel has stylish design. It's a pity that none tourist route starts right from the hotel. Actually you have to drive by car approx. 5 min to get to the place where a number of tourist routes starts from.
Free parking, WF in the ground floor, value for money...(50 euros for two nights...great), good restaurant
Location of the hotel, compostition of the hotel buildings and amazing views from the hotel complex. Breakfast.
Very frendly staff and helfull+++++++++
Elegant hotel,Comfortable rooms, parking available, nice restaurant
the friendliness of the staff the breakfasts could be better, the diluted orange juice was undrinkable
Charming and helpful staff; excellent service; good food and very good Moravian wines!
Free wired internet, fairly priced restaurant. Very comfortable rooms. I stayed in the renewed area of the hotel so I'm not sure if the rooms are all like the one I stayed in. Slow service at the restaurant even if it was empty.
The building, and style of main reception area It was the only hotel in the Czech Republic where I've stayed recently that made a charge (and a high one) for wi-fi
Excellent room service. No towels, towels recieved after request. Noisy view on backside of the hotel.
Staff are very friendly.Double room was cleaned and large. Also breakfast was very good! The staff granted the order from us. I have no dissatisfaction.
Location was very good, internet speed was quiet good. During my stay, until 2:00 at night, there was terrible noise in the bar, lst floor. So I couldn't sleep well. I called 3 times to reception but no one pick up and last call one staff picked up finally, I complained to hotel staff about the terrible noise from the bar, but she said that she can not do anything for me & hang up the phone. terrible staff...
Very well located, comfortable room
The staff were helpful and friendly. Extensive view of the city from the room. Wide choice breakfast buffet including cooked. Firm but V. comfortable beds Room decor very unusual - dim, orange lighting, skimpy curtains on huge windows. Tropical seascape on one wall. Some receptionist staff very little English -others V. good
location dark in the temporary room for breakfast - thought you had problems with electricity but just before we left staff came and switched the light on! It was very dark.
Good hotel, 30 second walking to the main square and two main streets. Safe city. I´ve paid 50 euros for a night. Cheap parking. Very nice staff Two beds together instead 1 king size.
The hotel had been renovated since my last visit, for good purpose. Now the room was nice and everything worked. I was especially happy with the well working cable internet connection from the room (LAN). The WLAN in the public areas was good enough for surfing. The location is very good just next to the market squere. The car park was easy and safe, once I found my way there, which was not that easy. There's a nice view from the roof terrace. The booking system seemed to be somewhat out of date, making the checking in and out quite slow. The brakefast wasn't overwhelming, where the price for the room must be kept in mind, in 5 star hotels the brakefast alone would cost the same.
Very friendly and helpful reception. Room was small. Breakfast was basic but OK. A typical tourist hotel in the Czech Republic. Better directions from the bus station. It took me some time finding the hotel and not many people knew where it was, but language may have been a factor in this.
Great location and we had a very nice room. This is not a smoke-free place. The room was full of cigarete smell even though we had our window opened for a few hours. Alss a member of staff smoking at the reception desk while chatting with a receptionist was extremly shocking view.
Very friendly staff on reception. Rooms were nicely refurbished. Rooms on the inside of the building are lovely and quiet (according to my travel companion). An easy tram ride from the station. My room, on the street side, was a bit noisy. Hot temperature outside so could do with a fan of some sort in the room.
Cozy in the rain, spacious and clean room with seating area, desk, TV, kitchenette. Walking distance to square, short drive to sports arenas. Filling and tasty breakfast. Dogs allowed and plenty of walking area. Neighborhood is not the best, but not bad either. Main issue was that cost of room went up twice during our stay because we did not have a printout of Booking.Com confirmation, only the confirmation number. If you stay at this B&B, make sure you bring a hard copy of your reservation and watch for added fees. Also, currency exchange was 25-1 everywhere else and 26-1 at this B&B. The cost itself is a good value and otherwise it is a nice place to stay so the trouble with fees was disappointing.
Finely run family pension!
Clean and new.
The receptionist was extremely kind and generous. In spite of my inability to speak Czech, I felt very welcomed as an English seaking foreiner by Hostel Liberic's receptionist. The hostel facilities are supurb for the price, and the receptionist personally prepares your breakfast if you choose to pay the extra 4 euro for it. Nothing to cplain about other than the fact that the receptionist didn't speak English. But her generosity far outweighs this deficit. In order to book a room, She simply handed me her cell phone to talk to one of their English speaking representatives.
