The Hotel Adler is the cutest hotel in the quaintest town. It was beautiful town and the hotel fit in perfectly. We would definately stay there again. The comfort of the room was appropriate for Europe. Be prepared for a pretty small bathroom, but we learned that was typical of European hotels also.
Good breakfast, large bedrooms, complimentary fruit in rooms Staff do not speak any English, some rooms face a very busy main road and are noisy.
The atmosphere was very good
Owner was very helpful. Location was convenient for the town. Private parking. Unpleasant odor from bathroom.
The hotel was very clean. The decor was pleasant. The value was outstanding and it was very quiet and easy to relax at. The rooms were a decent size and there was plenty of closet space . The bathrooms were clean with the basic ammeneties. The restaurant was also great and they have a nice rooftop beer garden with a great view. I felt that the staff was very cold. They acted like we were bugging them everytime we asked them to call a taxi for us. We only spoke English so it was hard for us to call a taxi ourselves. At their defense, we were there when many young people were staying at the hotel for a heavy metal festival so they might have been overwhelmed. Still I think a friendly smile and polite manner go a long way.
A nice hotel with an excellent breakfast. Room was nice, parking was available, and restaurant was very good.
Internet conection is not free of charge.
The owner lived at the hotel and was a very gracious host. The view of Tauberbischofsheim was remarkable and we loved hearing the church bells.
Space in rooms Rear view
Very large room. Excellent breakfast with large varied choice. Wines with dinner good quality with vineyard next door. Five flights of stairs to our room without the use of a lift was hard work. Also to carry luggage from car park up hill did not help.
The hotel was very clean, had nice furnishings, and small details like candles and flowers that were lovely. It's located on top of a hill in wine country, and the view is very nice.
The location and the friendliness of the staff
Old chap who let us in spoke no english, but was really pleasant...if that makes sense! the hotel was shut down on thursdays, took a long time to raise someone, no food available(restaurant closed), and the rooms were 100ms away across the village square.
Werbach is a very nice village and it is only 15 min by car away from Lauda-Konigshofen, the place we were visiting. The room was very beautiful and spacious and the reception/breakfast area was very nice and traditional. The staff did not speak english at all, but they did their best to help us! :) No complaints, but it was a bit of a problem...
Character of main building On arrival Thursday pm informed that hotel restaurant closed as owner otherwise occupied .Accomodation in annexe 150metres away. Next night restaurant would not charge meal to hotel bill, unfriendly attitude of waitress
Warm, plain en suite room with good basic facilities, Excellent car parking, very easy to find in the dark with a hire car. staff very friendly despite language communications difficulty - we do not speak German The setting is a rural village and the local church bells tolled at 6 am on the Sunday, also the accommodation is a short walk and across a main road from the restaurant and reception
Lovely hotel. Well furnished and clean rooms and friendly staff.
The wifi did not cover the whole hotel, at least was not available in the old fashion rooms.
The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. The evening meal and breakfast buffet were exceptional.
Very classy environment without pretension. Nice rooms at a great price. Very good restaurant. Situated in spacious former seminary and run by Caritas, a German health charity, which explains the very reasonable prices. Very convenient to the charming Taubertal and its romantic towns.
Excellent, welcoming staff; I arrived late but still managed to get a delicious meal around 21:30 (innovative, modern fare). No problem with Internet, quiet and relaxed - perfect place.
Very friendly personnel at reception and in the restaurant. Nice and cosy room. Unbeatable price-quality.
It would have helped to know that the restaurant was closed on the day of our stay when the booking was made.
Restaurant was especially good value for money. Good food in the dinner buffet and reasonable price. Internet worked well.
Good value restaurant in the hotel serving simple food well-cooked (enormous schnitzels). Not too far from historic town centre (45 mins walk other side of river) and easily accessed from autobahn. Rooms fairly pleasant. Set in amongst housing in an industrial area. Surprisingly loud road noise. No lift (roooms are 2 floors above restaurant).Owner and wife do not speak English.
I really loved the room, it was spacious and comfortable. There wasn't much information about the local sights and Wertheim Shopping Village to be gotten from the hotel.
the sortiment from "Schnitzel" in the restaurante
The breakfast was very adequate and the girl on duty was quite pleasant. We arrived at the hotel about 1 p.m. and the door was locked. Nobody
Location was very central to Main river and pedestrian zone. Had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. No A/C, so open windows are a must, which means quite a bit of street noise from traffic as well as restaurant/biergarten downstairs. Breakfast was good - just not as big as selection as I've had at other hotels.
As I travelled with a bicycle, the staff arranged for a place to wash it and store. Food was excellent. For the price I paid I got a very nice room compared with other places. Location is great too and its really easy to find.
The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and had lots of charm. The location was perfect. We were within a 20 minutes walk into Miltenberg along the Main River.
Really good restaurant. Our room in the old part of the hotel near the rathaus was very quiet. If I'm not mistaken, the website says the hotel is on the river. There is, however, a busy road which separates you from the river. There is an underpass which gives access to the river, with playground for kids and cycle paths, etc. I must say the river is very attractive. One other problem - extremely creaky bed (Anker room 14)
friendly atmosphere, beautiful location, clean rooms, great service
Very good room, spacious and clean. Very pleasant restaurant serving well prepared local dishes. Good breakfast buffet. Although on the banks of the Main, it is not possible to see the river from the restaurant due to a busy road. Using an underpass leads to the river bank and a pleasant park. With the hotel rooms, located in another building, there was no view from the room
Proximity to the main street and Altstadt. The ability to park the car in the garage overnight as it is extremely difficult to park in the town. To park in the Gasthof's garage is quite difficult and i would not like to have attempted it with a larger car.
Family hotel. Very friendly personel. Good food and fast service.
Very good location, friendly and helpful approach of the staff, good breakfast offer. Even advertised on the booking.com, additional bed was not available. Location on main street can bring some noise during the night.
Near the centre of the town, everything within walking distance
Good hotel in great location right in heart of the very picturesque historic old town of Miltenberg right on the beautiful Main river. Spacious room with all you need for a comfortable stay. Miltenberg is well worth seeing, has many attractive half-timber buildings, with a number of excellent vintner restaurants and Germany's oldest pub (1340) Limited reception hours (can't check in till 4pm), breakfast was okay but below average. I was offered an egg but I never got it - the man forgot to cook it. A bit careless.
Good clean hotel, nice breakfast & very friendly host.
Old but decently maintained hotel that is centrally located in the "Altstadt" and close to all attractions and resturants. Had its own restaurant. The staff was very accommodating. Pets were allowed. Had limited parking facilities, although there was a public parking garage very close by. Mostly vertical, so might be difficult for those that have trouble climbing stairs.
We will remember days spent in your hotel how very nice !
We came late in the evening, but quickly got a room and had a nice dinner in the restaurant. The room was nice and cozy. It was cold, but the heating in the room was off. It took until the middle of the night to heat it.
Comfortable hotel in a charming town.
The location was near to the river and the views were nice. The bar below played loud music during the night (3.00am) which was annoying.
The staff was amazing supportive. We had to leave early in the morning and they provided breakfast 1-1/2 hours early to accommodate our schedule. There was a lot of construction in the area, but there was really nothing the hotel could do about it.
The location was perfect, and our room overlooking the river was ideal. We loved this hotel. The hotel restaurant was closed for one day but nobody told us in advance. Not a serious problem, but it seemed odd.
Brilliant hotel for a stopover. Good Bistro/bar attached. Easy to find and good parking.
kindness of the people, and the location of the hotel na.
Very quiet hotel, for people who like the country side. Restaurant is ok and breakfast is good. Price paid for the room is a little expensive considering the area.
