Pros: One of the best resorts I have ever been to. Absolute peace and tranquillity meets uncompromising excellence. Can not get better. We WILL be back.
Cons: There is nothing to improve.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic experience!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The isolation and relaxation
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent location. Villas stylish and personal pool great after bushwalking and mountain bike riding. Front Office and Tour Guides very professional and informative. Spa treatment first class.
Cons: F&B staff disorganized across all meal periods. Seemed like a number of inexperienced restaurant staff who appeared to be students, not up to the standards expected for such a resort.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view
Cons: Location too far
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was above and beyond Property was breath taking

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything- it was incredible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve previously stayed at a One & Only Resort and Emirates-owned hotels, the combination of the two is magical. You can easily run out of superlatives when describing a stay at Wolgan Valley. We loved its eco credentials and much enjoyed hearing all about the flora and fauna on the estate. The accommodation is fabulous, I was tempted to barricade myself inside long enough to acquire squatters rights! Food and facilities are exceptional but the stars of the show are the local wildlife. I should also add that the staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work.
Lithgow Workies Club Motel - Lithgow - Building

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The convenience of walking through to the club and how clean and comfortable the room was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The insulation meant that the room was comfortably warm on a 15 degree day, even without the climate control on. The noise from the fan that came on with the bathroom light bothered my 5yo, but the low line sensor light under the vanity meant we didn't always need it.
Cons: The gap in the drapes lined up directly with a light, that shone straight in my eyes. Yep, that's about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was nice and comfortable, clean, convenient and friendly
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was exceptionally friendly and nice. Showed us to our room. Food in the bistro was delicious and decently priced. Overall really enjoyed our stay.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The reason I rated this property so poorly was that the constant emails prior to arrival to triple check I was actually coming as well as the tsunami of messages after and creepy insistence on feedback paled into insignificance the experience I had at the property. I can't remember anything about the property. All I can remember were the constant calls, texts and emails.
Cons: STOP HARASSING ME !!!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A room was so clean and comfortable
Cons: Some of the staff were bit tough and rude to kids. There were not enough facilities for kids. Not recommend for family.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodation, large room with king size bed. Fantastic having internal access to the club which had great meals. Played bingo and bought tickets in the meat raffle. Good location. Friendly staff.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious The location was beautiful Super compy nights sleep
7.5 Good
Pros: Customer service
Cons: 1. Add more info about separated bathroom on website 2. Towels could be softer. 3. Maybe add a power board as not many free powerpoints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful scenic location, a warm, comfortable room, great hosts and excellent breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was lovely to be off the beaten track and so nice to meet the two cats
Cons: It’s a little rough and ready
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, amazing view, fabulous owners!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A very secluded location, you need a car to get to this property as there is no public transport close by. As a working farm there are opportunities to buy farm raised produce and even go for horse rides. Make sure that you bring anything you would like with you such as snacks and drinks as there are no shops or even a corner store within walking distance, though they do have food and drink to buy on the property. Wish we had of had more time here, as it would be a nice place to relax and watch the sunset over the mountains.
Cons: Each room had a designated bathroom, but it wasn't attached to the room itself, it was across the hall, awkward morning encounters with other guests in a towel wasn't great. The whole property was tiled and could benefit from some more rugs in the rooms or a hall runner rug to make it warmer. If visiting in winter i would highly suggest bringing your Slippers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was very good. the owner was very friendly. we spoke of her family history & connection to the horse stud. would be a great place for anybody into horses.
Cons: the cold wind. but wasn't the owner's fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted by Marjorie when we arrived, lovely lady. Our room was the queen with a black four poster bed and a beautiful view of the valley through the bay window. Made a cup of tea in a beautiful bone China cup and saucer. Dinner was melt in the mouth lamb shanks with fresh vegetables and a glass of red wine. Beds are comfortable and room nice and airy. Bathroom is across the hallway with heated towel rails and a three in one heater etc. If going in Winter like we did, make sure you take a warm robe and slippers. Shower is nice and hot. Breakfast next morning was nice and basic with warm pastries, cereals, juices & yoghurt, tea and coffee. Some warm milk would have been nice for the cereal. Would stay again no problems. No road noise... just peace and quiet.
Cons: Only problem I found was the toilet is very low as I have had knee replacements.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great getaway, you wake up to beautiful views of green hills, there are cows, geese, chickens, and some friendly cats and dogs. Majory was easy to communicate with, she made an excellent dinner recommendation and asked us what time we wanted breakfast made. We had warm croissants and pastries for breakfast, there was home made muesli, yoghurt, fruit and coffee.
Cons: The only thing to note is Google maps didn't send us to the correct driveway, if you look at the map on the satellite view you can clearly see where the driveway is (Otherwise, Majory kindly helped us with directions when we called her).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Views, animals, great people.
Cons: Nothing
Eagle View Escape - Lithgow - Bedroom
4
9.4 Excellent (232 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Set on 100 acres of countryside, Eagle View Escape offers boutique self-contained accommodation with a private hot tub and a balcony with river or lake views. Enjoy a game of tennis or a relaxing 10-minute walk to Lake Lyell. Free Wi-Fi is available in the guest lounge. All rooms feature a kitchenette with hot tops, a refrigerator and microwave. Each room has a separate lounge area with a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and an iPod docking station. Guests can enjoy fishing, a games room with a pool table and a communal guest lounge with lake views. Eagle View Escape is 9 minutes’ drive from Rydal Train Station and 30 minutes’ drive from The Blue Mountains. Lidsdale State Forest is 13 km away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is totally secluded and the rooms have everything you could possibly want! The spa bath / fire place in the open plan room just made it that much more romantic. The romantic atmosphere was found everywhere you went with the fairy lighted ceilings and the laid back guest room with the pool table and fireplace - I did not want to leave!
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing. Loved the spa. Comfy room.
Cons: No restaurant. Did not particularly like cooking for ourselves but had we been there Friday or Sat we could have had dinner provided in the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: Eagle View Escape is set amongst the hills of Rydal and is in a beautiful location. However, because it is quite far from shops, it is not possible to purchase food nearby. If you didn't come prepared with food and didn't purchase a package then you would go hungry (if arriving at night) as no food is available onsite- not even a minibar. The room featured some lovely amenities like a shower, spa bath and kitchenette and very comfortable bed, but the room was arranged in a strange way- the chairs faced the fireplace, away from the TV and the TV was placed on an angle away from the bed. The spa bath was a highlight though as it faced the beautiful, private view of the countryside. It was an adequate stay, but aside from the beautiful view, I don't think it is worth the price. The room was a bit tired and wasn't up to par with other accommodation of this price. Staff were lovely and extremely accommodating though.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, warm heating system
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The separation between each of the cottages makes for a very private stay; with an absolutely fantastic uninterrupted outlook of the bush and lake beyond. The llamas were a bonus.
Cons: The location of the hand basin in respect to the toilet was very odd, requiring you to nearly do a lap around the room between the two. Other than that, all good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just how peaceful and beautifully located this location is! Lady at the reception was very friendly and did a good job on accomodating us :)
Cons: I loved everything except for the bed :( Me and my partner woke up with a sore back. Might be the mattress thing. It would also be great if there was an oven in the kitchen. But again-it's a beautiful place and I'll recommend it to everyone :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Original thought was very small but within m minutes you realise it was just right
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved it
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I Stayed in one of the lake view spa suites, the room was just the right size and the view was beautiful. The spa bath was bigger then it appeared. The property itself had character, was peaceful and there was a view from every angle.
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The environment
Cons: The tea bottle is not clean enough

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The balcony is with amazing view and the Jacuzzi provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy it. The fireplace made the kitchen and living areas cozy, the bed had electric blanket and plus extra big electric heater was offered in the room, the bathroom had a build-in heater. The whole property was choosy, immaculate clean, everything look brand new. It was a memorable escape for my birthday.
Cons: Unfortunately, breakfast was not offered. In the bathroom was not much pace to put out our stuff. The kitchen and living room were shared, next time we will book an individual cottage. It would be great to have a spa in the house and the jacuzzi with wind fence.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and peacefulness
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful and relaxing stay in a stunning location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good. Such a nice place to getaway.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful location, fireplaces.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was a great adventure in itself. Big Kitchen and room with the fireplace was nice
Cons: We didn’t have any control over the heating in winter which was not good. Sharing one hot spa with other couples wasn’t the best. The room we got was not what was advertised which was also a shame. It wasn’t very clear
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely awesome
Cons: Best cottage ever, very detailed furniture set up. Nice clean quiet with all facilities. We upgraded our room to a cottage house when we saw it, lucky still one available on the night. Owner keeps hot tubs warm all the time. Definitely will go back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great property and very well maintained place. Very clear communication and great recommendations/suggestions by the host Julian(and Andre).
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nice jacuzzi although hardly private given cottages on either side and anyone can simply walk past. Comfortable bed and strong water pressure on the shower.
Cons: No proper walking trails - at least none that are marked and can be easily followed. Area appears pretty dead and void of wildlife. Privacy is at a minimum. No real view (photos of view from property are misleading). Poor DVD collection for a place that has no TV reception. Blinds again do not provide full privacy as they do not fully cover windows (not wide enough). Simply put compared to Eagle View which is in the same area, the price, immediate location, and quality of the cottages do not hold up - will not be returning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning Love the hot tub on the deck and the fire place was so cozy and warm
Cons: NA
