Price was okay, but great. Lobby at Main Lodge was nice. We didn't get to try out the amenities, but I'm sure the kids would have loved them. The check in was flawed, the rooms were filthy. They didn't look anything like the pictures on the Web. They didn't have what we booked. They couldn't offer any other rooms as they were full. No free WiFi. Sales push for time share and their restaurant. Pretty awful really.
We liked the pool and the new activity center There didn't seem to be enough parking in our parking lot
Location Astronomical fee charged for merely having a pet accompany you in the room. 170 dollars no matter what. Big dog or small cat.
The staff only. The staff was awsome! Although we didn't get the room we reserved with 2 queen bends we got a king size bed that we didn't want insted. on top of that the power went out around 5am which made eveything impossible from showering to getting around the room very disappointed! The room looked really old needs updating deffently!
Has a lot of things to do. Room /carpet was musty. Bathroom was tiny and had mold above shower.
Location and nice grounds Cleanliness. We signed up for a 90 minute presentation because we could get Silver Dollar City tickets at a reduced rate. The sales presentation/time share took 2.5 hours and basically wasted our time and all of the morning. Would not go back.
Looks nice from the outside. When we arrived we were pressured by staff to come listen to info on a time share. When we got to the room our key wouldn't work so my husband had to go back twice before security showed up to open the door with no apologies. Then our room smelled so bad we requested another room. This is coming from a family that doesn't send food back at a restaurant. Never have I felt the need to write a review, we were very disappointed.
Indoor pool, free wine & cheese welcome were nice. Kids loved basketball court, shuffleboard, and volleyball This place does NOT offer free WiFi! You must pay to use internet :( unless you're an owner then it's free, but if you're just renting you get tricked into buying a wifi package when trying to login. No hot water either
The beauty and cleanliness of the property and accommodations. The lovely room. Having to pay for internet use.
Nice entertainment amenities for kids. Nice to have a convenience store on site. Cannot stand timeshare pitches! While they let you decline going to their "complimentary & informative" breakfast, they give you a little hassle about it. Room was stinky and a little worn out but overall appeared clean. I probably wouldn't be back because I've found similar deals to other places in region w/o timeshare annoyance.
A so so stay , won't be back. Having to walk up a hill from the parking lot in 30 degree temps. yes I could've paid $20.00 for valea and also could of paid $20.00 for a microwave and also could of paid $20.00 more for a small fridge, these are items all other good hotels supply for free, the worst thing is there is no fan for circulation in the bathroom. the lock on the sliding door didn't work, lukewarm water in the bathroom sink.
Beautiful, well appointed and up kept property, excellent staff. Overall fabulous and would recommend. Grille food was slightly dissapointing.
The hotel staff, especially the lady in the Sweet Shoppe were very enjoyable and attentive to anything I wanted. The way Kayak did the booking. I needed to cut the trip short one day which I found out before the end of the first day and could get no refund or adjustment from the company Kayak used or the front desk. I will not use Kayak to book a hotel again. In fact I was told to deal directly with the hotel if I wanted to eliminate confusion and getting stuck like this.
The place was very clean and the stuff where all willing to help you. I would stay at this place anytime I was in Branson! Pricy
As A motel General Manager myself, I was very impressed with the property and appreciated the Excellant customer service that Angel provided.
Nice layout... Good space, and all comforts of home.. Nice greet at the front desk. Kids liked the play area. Whirlpool tub was relaxing. Missed the GROUPON sale and paid extra $50 per night. Needed cleaning under couch, calling in bathroom, and most of all couch bed was broden
I liked the condo. I liked having a kitchen. I liked the activities like aqua cycle, paddle boats, kayaks, mini golf, and the pool, I liked the zoom the flume slide, I liked that it had a pretty Lakeview. All the employees I encountered were great. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and had bugs on it. (Not bed bugs). You have to travel 15 miles to get to Branson. Not much close by to eat. If you were going to just stay at the condo it would be awesome.
The room was amazing for the price we paid. Paying such a low price I was sceptical of what i was getting, but when we got to our room all we could say was "WOW"! Branson is a little farther than expected.
I absolutely loved this resort and the staff was so kind and helpful! I will definitely be staying here any time I'm in the area. I didn't find a single problem, amazing job!
The pools were nice. The marina was close and had a lot to offer. Our room was clear but was very musty smelling. When i told the front desk, they said they would look at it but didn't apologize or offer any suggestions or changes.
We will be going back to Stillwater's Resort. The two bedroom apartment had everything we needed ( three TVs, two bathrooms, kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and pots and pans), dining room, living room and a nice sun room balcony. We loved it there, we did not want to go home. The grounds were also gorgeous. They have tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, and a playground. They also have Bikes for All sizes free to use by guests while staying at the resort. Paddleboats, kayaks and inner tubes are all provided free of charge at your request too. Three pools and a poolside hot tubs, that will make you never want to get out. They also have a water slide, hiking trails and a game room. Stillwater's Resort will be a place we make home.
We got a massive villa for $90 a night. It could easily fit 4 people. It has a bedroom, a living area, and a kitchenette. It also was really clean and generally pleasing. The only thing that I didn't like was that it was far from the stip!
Loved the space, really got more than we expected. Exceptional value with full kitchen, dining table, living room & bedroom/bath in each unit. One was a bit larger with private balcony. Would highly recommend & if in Branson again will be the place to stay. We had an A & B unit that each had a door off a private main entrance to the two units, would have liked a way to keep those doors open, since there was still a locking exterior door. But everything else was great.
The property was nicely appointed and well-maintained.We had no problems, the location is great, and the staff was friendly. Although I was there for a conference, my family was very comfortable there and we enjoyed our stay very much.
this was a great place to stay.Clean, comfortable, and we will be staying here again.
Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, nicely furnished units. Mattresses pretty worn, need updating. Had old style TV's, no flat screens.
The location was wonderful. Perfect for getting around town but also good for peace and quite. The grounds were lovely, well manicured. Did not like the way the condo was arranged. The bedroom was in the very front as you come into the door. It seemed so far away from the living area. Also, the rooms are tiny. No room for luggage in bedroom. Had to put suitcases in living room.
Liked the location. Close to shopping, and dining. The door key did not work, had to call the night staff, to have someone come and open the door, that only took a few minutes.
I loved the condo. It was very clean and well furnished. I also liked the location. The only thing I didn't like was, there wasn't a door on the master bathroom.
Great rooms for very reasonable price. Not comfortable with master bedroom not having a door on it. Prefer more privacy for showering and toilet use.
Room was great. Resort public areas were great. Both pools were awesome and the kids loved the playground. When I booked the room I felt I was booking a room with a king bed but it ended up only being a double. A little dissappointed about that.
We liked the hotel very much. This was our second time to stay here. The location was good, the staff friendly, the rooms clean, and the beds were VERY comfortable. I forgot 2 nice shirts in the closet and they mailed them to me. Will stay there again.
Location The beds were so uncomfortable we checked out after only one night.
Hotels location was perfect for visiting shows. Bathroom lighting was poor and bathroom was small, but adequate for 2 people.
Staff not overly friendly. Also had to put up with usual timeshare sales pitch.
Beautiful. Will go back. We were on our honeymoon. The Water park should be open to adults on weekends, and past 10. So we could go into the hot tub.
Very quiet - staff was very accommodating. We were even given a small gift for our anniversary! (Thanks!) Loved having a fireplace in both the bedroom and living room, liked have a washer/dryer right in the room. They had 2 HUGE closets, completely equipped kitchen and a delightful balcony with ample furniture to enjoy. Walk-in waterfall shower was wonderful! All in all a super place to stay. We appreciated the fact that we were not hounded to listen to a time share presentation. Although we were asked, we were pleased to note they did take no for an answer. Thanks! No elevator - stairs were fine, but older folks might have trouble getting luggage up to their suite. I assume they would be assigned to a lower level.
I absolutely loved this. It was a beautiful home away from home. This will be my go to spot when we travel to this area. Also I'm a single mom with 2 kids and this place was very safe and child friendly. Nothing to dislike!!!
Everything about this place was fabulous. The resort could have been a vacation within itself. The only thing I can say that was bad was how loud the air conditioner was at night. It woke both of us up multiple times but a very minor hitch in our overall wonderful stay.
Good location. Plenty of room. Very outdated condo. Had pipes rattling when you used the hot water. The staff tried to charge another fee on top of the fee I already had paid.
Needs agood remodel, but clean and great location off the busy strip.
It was nice to be able to stay in a place that felt more like a condo or apartment than a hotel room. Units are a little dated and not very well maintained on the exterior.
Point Royale offers a quiet, family environment with Security. Our overall experience was great, and we will definitely stay there again.
The location was the only thing we liked and the security. The room was outdated. The carpet had stains, the furniture was dirty, the bed spreads were faded. Not worth the money we paid.
The two bedroom condo was very clean and well furnished.
location - off the strip but close enough to all the attractions no
Cleanliness and amenities No
clean room.nice location by the lake thin walls you can hear the noise from the next room
We loved the beach side view. The sunset and sunrise was beautiful off the water. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and nicely set up. The rooms were great and we loved the jacuzzi tub!! It didnt offer free wifi like most everywhere. No breakfast which would have been really nice having kids and all.
Bedroom smelled musty. Bathroom was dingy and in poor condition, fixtures were loose & falling off the wall. Wallpaper peeling from walls. Entire suite needs refurbishing.
The room was extremely nice, they thought of everything. Pool was beautiful and so was the view of the lake. Beds could be upgraded to be more in line with the luxury of the rooms.
Screened in balcony with ceiling fan, table/chairs.. Also the elevator. Some confusion when checking in. I thought Booking.com charged my credit card for all days.. Condo claimed not..
the staff was wonderful. Our room was great. and the facility was amazing liked everything
The price was good. Location was so-so in relativity to SDC and the Marina. The little fridge was under the stove which was kind of unique. I didn't notice until a couple of days in, but there was a large sticky mouse trap next to the bed. The mattress had stains on the side that I only saw because the sheet didn't fit well. The bathroom was clean, but outdated. If you're over 5'5" don't plan on taking a relaxing shower with the nozzle so low. The TV is outdated and tube-style. It's only a 24" or so. Signal on it was in and out at moments(Yay Suddenlink). I could hear my neighbors through the walls. I could hear them urinate... I paid the slight higher price for this place because I assumed it was ON the lake. I couldn't even see the lake from the back porch. The porch area was shared with 2 other "apartments" and only 2 tables with mismatched chairs were there. There were grills for each place, simple charcoal ones. The back patio was being reclaimed by a bush. The front parking area was terrible. The sign saying "PARK HERE" was overgrown by shrubs so my neighbors took a majority of the parking area and blocked me in on occasion. When I visited the dock, it was hard to get to. The path wasn't really clear and the area was congested with pieces from another dock that no longer was in the water. I suppose I was disappointed because in previous years, my family and I had been here and it was a good time. This apartment section was not part of the original resort and just acquired. You can tell. Their larger structures were visually more appealing and more inviting.
