Great stay. Room was clean, free breakfast was phenomenal. Staff was great!
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was great and the rooms felt very clean.
I couldn't find anything wrong with my stay.
Staff and management were excellent
it was not an inn. It was a motel with outside rooms and outside stairways. Not as safe as rooms with only inside access via elevator.
The breakfast was one of the best I have had. The staff was very helpful and cordial
I did not realise that it was a motel style of property. The rooms were cramped compared to the other properties. The room condition was not great.
Good breakfast buffet
staff at the desk were so helpful suggesting good places to eat. everyone was friendly and helpfull.
beds were too soft very uncomfortable
The staff was excellent and very helpful
The rooms was very outdated and the bed was very lumpy and saggy.
Nothing stands out
Bed was slanted, felt like I was going to roll out the whole night. Cheap look in room.
Pleasant surprise for price and location near interstate. Much cheaper than Holiday Inn Express immediately across the street. Staff were outstanding. Room was very good. Clean comfortable and updated.
Excellent, helpful staff. Easy check-in. Helpful on the phone when I called to arrange for my significant other to arrive early Old building of the age that it is deteriorating. Excellent online access. Lots of electrical plugs for computers, etc.
Elevator not in the building but added on outside. We prefer inside hallways. Lots of parking.
Great bed, breakfast, & breakfast area.
We were in an end room and our wifi was not good.
Breakfast was really good but was not enough space for everyone.
Only had smoking rooms available. Our room had mosquitoes.
The hot breakfast is amazing!! Fresh made waffles, muffins, eggs, bagels and much more. The room was neat and clean, very comfortable beds.
Clean room, great breakfast buffet service
Clean nicely arranged rooms. Unusually good breakfast. Well trained and courteous staff. Convenient location¿easy access.
All rooms open to the outdoors (small security negative IMO)
I just wanted to say that my stay was excellent in Waterboro, SC. It was my friend 50th Birthday, and his wife had made all of his friends who were station with him over thirty years ago in Charleston AFB, SC come out for this joyful occasion. He had just came up to Northern, VA to celebrate my 50th Birthday party in which my wife surprise me with my friends a few weeks before including him and his wife. The surprise is when he seen all of his friends from near and far. If you could have seen the expression on his face. it was priceless, truly Priceless....
This is an old motel, so there's not a lot that can physically be done to make it better. The bathroom door is an exterior door, much too BIG and heavy for the bathroom. The door just grazes the front of the toilet! God forbid someone might push the door open with someone sitting there!\n\nThe door locks need a LOT of work. Our key cards worked several different ways, but never the same way twice in a row! We finally discovered that we could hear a tiny 'click'. When it clicked, we could open the door if we were quick! Sometimes it clicked with the little green light on, and sometimes it didn't click until the little green light went out! Sometimes the door would open if we just left the card in the door. It was interesting.\n\nMy sister has always raved about these Hampton Inns, but for my money, we'd have been better served at the motel next door.\n\nI almost never book a motel with the rooms opening to the outside, but I did with this motel. Wouldn't do it again, however. The room was not that comfortable for what we paid, even with the AARP discount.
Very good front counter service and clean room with a nice comforter
Have stayed at this same Hampton several times in the last few years and feel it is going down. Without general improvement, it will become a days inn soon.
Disappointed that this wasn't a traditional Hampton with the security of indoor corridors. Room was okay. Breakfast: stale pastries and very peculiar orange juice. If you stay in Walterboro, pay less somewhere else and treat yourself to a good breakfast at Waffle House or Cracker Barrel with the savings.
Great place to stay. Very good breakfast and very clean.
