Excellent helpful staff
Attractive setting Breakfast was adequate only
We were charmed by the atmosphere and location on the Wesser river. The sound of the river running over the rocks was very calming . The food and service was very good. As Americans were are spoiled with air conditioning. We would have liked air conditioning or a ceiling fan to cool us when sleeping
Mostly I was sleeping
This is truely a family run Pension. very homey, and a well serviced dining room with good food. Set on a river it allows a good walk as well. Well positioned for visiting both Bremen and Hanover
Very nice staff and environment with a wonderful garden. Fantastic food.
Easy to find, Quiet location, Good facilities available, Good restaurant and Bar, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. We returned after midnight to find the whole hotel in darkness. There were no emergency lights on at all downstairs.
Helpful, english speaking staff, delicious food, frendly place for cyclers
Homely, clean, beautiful food and setting. Nice woodland walks behind the hotel.
Good value for money and good food. Superb locality walking distance to the Hannoveraner Verband if anyone wishes to travel to the hannovariian horse auctions. Not very suitable for disabled visitors as no apparent lift system to bedrooms.
The staff in the restaurant were very helpful, efficient and friendly. The hotel room was away from the road so was quiet as far as traffic noise was concerned. late guests coming back to rooms in middle of night and waking us up, then talking for hours, keeping us awake. Groups of single men congregating in the bar through which we had to walk to get to the restaurant, which was intimidating. Not sure what the hotel can do about any of these things as it's probably out of their control and was bad luck for us.
convenient & good breakfast, very nice people no elevator for heavy luggage, dingy decor, no washcloths, skimmy towels, skimpy pillows, cheap mattress, no shampoo, no lotion, only okay dinner food, slow dinner service, poor lighting in entrance of room, difficult door locks (dangerous in a fire)
Kind people, good service
Surrounding and internet facility
The Landhotel was close to the small villages where our families emigrated from to the US. As we traveled around the area during the 6 days we were there, we called the Landhotel "home." The staff treated us like family and we were very comfortable.
very welcoming could do with a bit of an upgrade, lighting was not good in places
Big rooms The mini bar was not with coolant! - so the beer and cola was to hot with out the coolant. And it had alot of spider in the rooms.
The rooms are large and the bathrooms are spacious. The location is quiet. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of good fresh food. Parking lot was small.
The room was too hot during the night, though the weather was not very warm.
Impressing big room, it was an appartment for all I know. The staff was very interrested to make sure we where ok. Good experience.
The food was the best food I had on my entire trip to Germany. Every dinner meal, I tried something new and each meal was fabulously tasty!
Location For the price that's asked, I expected some luxuery but it was like going back to the 60's... Nothing wrong with that, but that's not worth 89 euro's a night. Other newer/luxe hotels are cheaper and more comfortable. The wireless internet was also not available at the chambers, you need a password and the hotelowner was nowhere to be found to ask.... I expected more from this hotel!
