very flexible service for late checkout, friendly staff, convenient stay,
The location and the bars outside of the hotel! I was informed that Breakfast was not included in the Standard room rate - unbeleiveable for the money!
The room was clean and quiet.
I always stay at Novotel Centrum when I am in Warsaw, it's comfortable central with a great view over the City!
I was particularly impressed by the courtesy and efficiency of the front-of -house staff, who were able to arrange trips for me on the spot even though I had little time. The lifts did not always respond to the card, even though I followed the instructions
the decoration of the hotel and the rooms!!! they couldnt find the reservation, and they ask me to pay a normal price. after some arguement they accepted the internet price (i had to show them the reservation from my email) and for breakfast instead of 2 persons, they included only 1. i had to argue 2nd time to accept. although there was a hotel parking for free, they told me to put the car in the parking opposite the hotel that is secured and they cooperate with them, and during check out, the hotel ask me extra 24 euros for 1 night parking!!!!!!!!!
Very neat and well arranged! Friendly staff and centrally located, much. Much better location than other the other big hotels nearby.
Great location, panoramic city view from the room, good breakfast, great for city transport room feels a bit small, so as bathroom, breakfast could be warmer, but still that was not a problem for us
centre of Warsaw Room minibar defect. No option to cook coffe or tea in the room as usual in Novotel or other Accor hotels worldwide.
free internet blocked phone preventing me to call from my room using my calling card
I did not like the TV channels at all. There was not single channel with English. All channels had a Polish translation in the background and the user did not have any control over it. That was terrible. An international hotel must definitely have only English channels accessible.
good connection to public transport; centrally loacted as it is located at a very big street it is rather loud
Hotel has a perfect location in Warsaw. Very close to tram, bus and metro station. (1minute walk) Very close to center and lots of shopping centers. Hotel staf is really positive and try to help whenever you need something. Great breakfast service and very clean rooms. We stayed two times in a short period in different kinds of rooms. In one room there were slippers in the room, next time in the room there were no slipper. When we asked the reception, they said there is no slipper service at the hotel. No minibar in room.
Hotel is big, beautiful, very well-located (in the middle of the city near Warsaw Centralnaia station). Staff is very friendly, english-speaking. Breakfast is excellent. The room is clean and big enough.
nothing very unfriendly staff. not prepared to help when there was no record of booking
Super! The excellent personnel! Purely and comfortably! An excellent breakfast :) It is noisy in rooms when windows look at the central street. You will not have a sleep in the morning.
-The location, it was easy to reach the city.... -The breakfast, it was really good...
Good location, reasonable price Hotel is located very close to a roundabout and since the rooms are not very well isolated, it's quite noisy.
Very nice and cheap hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Very central just 5 min from the culture palace. Clean and nice rooms. Not much to complain about. The staff were not so helpful
Excellent Breakfasts.Very helpfull staff. No coffee facilities in rooms. Small cupboards.
friendly staff, very good breakfast, clean rooms the loudness of the street is a bit annoying, but one gets used to it
The rooms were large and spacious, clean and comfortable.food excellent.could not find any fault with this hotel
It is the best hotel in Warsaw More italian Channels on TV
Excellent location and good price quality ratio
flawless functioning, meets every expectation, good food, quick room service it is quite large - long corridors, many rooms per floor
Excellent location, very attractive price for such a high standard No
location not far from station and old town , helpful staff internet connection expensive
I liked the room, it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is unfortunately no swimming pool.
The luxurious room! The restaurant prices (including the breakfast buffet) seemed steep for Poland!
Excellent service, very comfy room and great location.
restuarants espically the thai one best thai food out of thailand nope
I stay often at this Sheraton. They always make an error with the reservation - this time it was two beds instead of reserved one. But - still great value for the price.
Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast. Perfect for everybody who does not suffer dust mites allergy. It is not a place for you if you have dust mites allergy, all rooms are with carpet and quite old beds
Beautiful building, excellent comfort level, excellent downtown location
Room size Recommend that bathrobes and slippers be provided Also hair conditioner
Beautiful old hotel. Staff was very helpful. The ac was a bit uncomfortable.
The bed was very comfortable. Very spacious room. The breakfast was not included. For this price it's a standard I think.
Outstanding breakfast. Very comfortable room.
everything good and kindness steps
Good hotel with a GREAT staff. Every request was attended to thoroughly and quickly.
the location is perfect. Rooms are clean, nice design, with good views of warsaw nothing. when I ran into problems with the internet, staff was very helpful, sent somebody to help and then double checked that all was going well. no complaints.
clean, well located, good as a start point to travel by foot or by taxi or to take a train. Rich breakfast. Not best coffe I ever tasted I ordered a airport pickup service but the driver didn't showed up so we took a cab.
Comfortable beds, airy rooms with high ceilings. Room was quiet. Located near shops and not too far from old town. Impressive reception and seating area. The single room was booked for a friend and we stayed in rooms booked separately with booking.com at same hotel after a family wedding. Everything was good and nothing not to like!
Classic European lux hotel. A grand dame of Warsaw. Fully modern with wonderful, English-seaking staff. Very comfortable room; king bed; excellent Internet service; huge comfortable bathroom. Outstanding breakfast (get breakfast with your rate!). Also enjoyed dinner one evening when it was particularly sleety and blustery outdoors -- did not want to go anywhere. Hotel provides soap and shower gel in dispensers rather than individual bars or tubes.
excellent stuff very friendly and helpful, starring from doorman, front desk, restaurant and bar employees housekeeping and of curse breakfast so delicious, we are very picky costumers but there is nothing to complain about this complain defiantly next year when we will travel to Poland we will stay in this hotel. nothing to complain very positive experience :)
very kind personal it is too modern for me. I do not like this kind of light. It looked like I was the only guest. That was a little bit strange
A one-night stay is hardly enough to judge a hotel, but I found the dinner excellent
Staff clear and precise - no 'waffle' Just one thing - could not figure out for a while that lights in room operated on the door key card. Could do with a clear notice to this effect on the table, this being first thing noticed on entering
Very appropriately located close to the city center. Comfortable rooms. Qualified staff.Renovated recently. Deposit for the room is too high. Breakfast is overpriced.
great rooms, great shower and very quiet rooms they told me that I could pay with Diners Club, but by checking out I couldn´t...minor issue, but for me of big importance
Location. If the room could have been bigger since two males were staying in the room. Perfect place for couples I would think.
The hotel is located successfully in relation to station: 2 stops by tram or by bus, it is possible to reach for 15 minutes on foot. Very attentive personnel on a reception. The comfortable, pure number, convenient bed. Very much it was pleasant, I will recommend to friends. There's no Wi-Fi in the room.
the hotel is good and honestly the hotel rescued me when i found an available double room with extra bed after what the hotel "apartmenty zgoda" did to us, as it is the worst hotel ever with the worst customer service, anyway grand mercure was a good hotel, good location, staff is friendy it is a little bit expensive
cable based connection to internet, missing WiFi
Internet, clean room, good breakfast Invoicing process - 0,5 h !!! (thanks God it finally worked out); I was asked to sign a bill during my breakfast (in the middle of my breakfast), as if signing upon my leaving the breakfast room was too dangerous...
Great comfort with all needed electronic articles and internet broadband connection. Thumbs up for the kitchen and all the accessories. I will recommend this hotel to everyone who want comfort to the right price.
additional charge for parking.
The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. English was clear and easy to understand. Room had no issues. Breakfast was standard European buffet. Location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Nothing!
The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Quite a good location to touristic areas, shopping, and some cool bars/restaurants. The hotel upgraded us to a larger suite as well! Staff is not the most friendly compared to your typical western hotels.
The room........... fantastic place to stay,,,,, very modern no late bar
Very comfortable, quiet, beautifully furnished, clean apartment and a beautifully styled bathroom. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Since we stayed a longer time, the well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities were appreciated. Internet access (free), safety box in the room, and airconditioning also a plus. Excellent location. We would definitely consider coming back to this hotel. A couple of minor drawbacks were that the windows could not be opened, and that cigarette smoke smell occasionally came into the room through the airconditioning (we had asked for a non-smoking room). A few English television channels would also have been good to have.
Very comfortable beds, spacious room + sitting area. Would definitely recommend.
Good location, we traveled with a baby so having kitchen in the room was very useful for us. Staff is very polite and tried to help any time we needed. Room was clean. I would prefer breakfest incuded within the price of the room. No pool.
The hotel has good comfort and space. The beds are wonderful and the rooms are well equipped. Here are the opportunities for self catering. Very central and quiet. Some employees might have been something more customer friendly. A new modern television had not been stupid in relate to the standard of the apartments.
The suite was very nice, modern and clean with all accommodations you could need The staff were not overly friendly and the sex-shop outside the entrance was a bit disturbing
Comfortable and quiet.. close to all points in the city I think that the prices of the snacks and sweets in the minibar were too high. All the things should be complementary. They were much too expensive.
St. Andrew's Palace is not your usual hotel. An all-suite hotel, it offers generous living and sleeping rooms along with a fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bath. There is no room service, house cleaning on the weekend, or 24-hour front desk, but non of that detracts from the extraordinary positive experience of staying at the St. Andrew's. It is conveniently located in the city. A suite facing onto the courtyard tends to be quieter than those facing the pedestrian street zone. The courtyard cafe offers a decent breakfast. It closes at 11:00pm, whereas the street scene can go on until after midnight. St. Andrews offers more than luxury hotels in the area and at a lower rate. The air conditioning came in handy. TV, video, DVD player. St. Andrew's does not have its own parking. I did not get any information from them before my arrival. Upon arrival, I was directed to a large guarded surface lot about a 10-minute walk, but I found a much better deal in an even closer underground guarded garage just 5 minutes by foot. The entrance to the pedestrian zone in which the hotel is located is difficult to find at first, and I was not quite sure that I could drive into it. But you can. The hotel's website could provide better information, maybe even a map to alleviate the search. But, Ende gut, alles gut!
Very comfortabel hotel, you feel like you are at home. We stayed at a Junior apartment and liked it a lot. Breakfast was also very good. Can't say the location is very central but if you arrive to Warsaw just to visit the city then it's quite ok since it takes only 15-20 minutes walk to get to the center of the city The only thing that I personally would recommend to the hotel management is to fix at least one small shelf in the shower cabin, just in case your guest would like to use his/her own shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a razor, a comb or a hair clip in the shower. I had to put all this stuff just on the bottom of the cabin. And flushing system is not operating very good presumably due to saving reasons. But, imho, the hotel is spending more rather than saving.
Good value, very pleasant rooms, nice central position. You probably need to update the cafe a bit, and you have to run the hot water for at least 15 minutes before it gets hot!
great. For Europe, the rooms were big. It was nice to have two bedrooms so the kids had their own rooms. Everything is close. Tons of restaurants, shops, coffee. Close to the train station. Nothing I can think of.
Beautiful, clean apartment. Good for long term stay and fantastic location. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine available as well. The drainage system for the shower and bath tub clogs up.
attended the exhibition in Warsaw TV did not work, no minibar, poor breakfast - too bad for 216 EURO per night
The suite was quite large and rooms were generous. The rooms were clean. The sofa in the TV room was comfy if it was a touch longer it would have been better than the beds. The breakfast was very poor. The bed was a slab of concrete and the pillows hard. No TV in the bedroom. We paid a good price for this hotel but would not recommend this hotel for the full rate.
Friendly, helping, english speaking stuff. Spacious room. As this is an appartment hotel, it worth mentioning that the hotel doesn't provide elementary amenities, e.g. soap, shampoo.
Value for money. The location compared to price paid was very good. nothing; maybe that the "reception" only was open Monday to Friday and we stayed there during the weekend but wasn't a problem as we didn't have any problems.
LOCATION. The hotel is located right behind the Galeria Centrum, which is directly across the street from the Palace of Science and Culture. Several central train/metro stops are a short walk from here including the main train station. You are surrounded by shopping and eating options, literally. SIZE. The rooms were spacious with more than enough space for sleeping. Our room had 2 foldout sofa beds in the living room, a single in its own room, and a double in the back room. There was a small dining area and separate kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc. There was even a small washer in the bathroom. STAFF. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional. Nothing really. We didn't have enough pillows/blankets for all beds, but that's probably because they upgraded us at check-in and weren't expecting anyone in that apartment yet.
It is like a home away from home. Lots of space and close to shops and places to eat. Close also to tran station. Only thing we thought was required were fans in the room or better still air con to be installed. It was very hot.
Excellent security and reasonably quiet provided you are overlooking the courtyard - spacious and well appointed - close to shopping in department stores and to the weekend market along Nowy Swiat - easy walk (for those without impairment) to the University and down into the old city. There is no room service or reception on Saturday and Sunday - make your own beds and no change of towels and bed linen - the 24hr security guard takes over the reception role but English can be a problem if you want more than a taxi. Chmielna is rather run down (undergoing renovation) and has its interesting collection of colourful characters.
I was very pleased and impressed by the owner who came every morning to prepare the breakfast for us. He was very kind, funny and helpful. He took some time to explain us the best things to do in the city (monuments to visits, restaurants to go, etc.). Since we were going to attend a wedding he very kindly taught us some songs in Polish that people sing at this kind ov event. Besides the very nice owner, this B&B can't be closer to the center and the interior is modern and very clear. Staying at Chmielna St. B&B was a real pleasure!
Elegantly decorated recently, good atmosphere. Communal kitchen facilities were great. Very convenient location for restaurants & walking to Old Town. Room was very small [for 3] & noisy from street at night. One key for hotel access was difficult. Personally, I do not like stairs [2 floors up]
The hour of check-in is very behind schedule. It´s 15 h!to speak some Some language more aside from the English and Pole. Spanish, french...
staff, location and breackfast are excellent. very clean very soft bed, room a bit noisy, very small room
Very friendly and informative staff. Location is within easy walking distance to the picturesque old town. Slight smell from the toilet but this may have been due to recent local flooding. Apart from that the room was great. Be warned you have to climb several flights of stairs to get to the appartments.
location BUT- the recption is in separate building as the hostel and both buildings are separate by approx. 400 meters - that is not being indicated/advertised on the booking.com. We were only infomed after completing the booking by e-mail from the hostel. Both the recepetion and the hostel are made of the regular apparments in the residential buildings - both on high floors [4th and 3rd respectivly] with no elevator! Staff; arogant and not willing to help - even rude. I.e. When we called the reception to infrom that the TV is not working and we would like sb. to come and fix it, the staff member told: "It it not Hilton, so I will not run up to fix your TV" !!!!!!!!!!
The location, parking possibilities, Matrasses on the beds were kinda worn out
Price and location. Old TV. Just two power sockets, one broken in bath (no device can fit it without falling), and one in room which becomes broken after I tried to attach my laptop. Small ugly bed for one person, with two lamps. For what two? No shampoo or something in bath, only toilet paper and liquid soap. Extremely annoying noise. Outside somewhere near the windows they have damaged air conditioning system, which make noise like you are cutting metal with saw. Even plastic windows can`t help you to not hear it.
Great breakfast. Thin and lumpy mattress. No business center or public computers.
Is located in very good place, good service and good breakfast. Was little bit noisy specially night time.
The included breakfast was enough to have a healthy meal at the start of the day. Everything about this property is old. In particular, and you'll think I'm joking, the elevator takes minutes to go up and down with you in it. It's the slowest elevator I've ever seen inside a hotel. The rooms are drab and uncomfortable.
Very convenient location close to the old town and other attractions. There was no water available on the morning of our check out even at 7;30 till 8;00 am. Thus no washing or funtional toilet available. Told was due to hotel renovations.
location, Wi-Fi worked well, clean comfy bed toilet looked clean but smelled badly all over the bathroom every day of my weekly stay, dirty carpet with stains, no fridge in the room
The location is good. It takes around 10-15 minutes by walk to get to Old City. Also you will spend 10 minutes to get the big shopping centre Zloty Tarasy. The rooms are not very comfortable, the breakfast is so-so, almost no choice. And if you need the hairdrier, you have to ask it several times as they don't have a lot of them.
Good room for cheap Location wasn't bad, not too much in close proximity
Breakfast was on a poor level - 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast, the staff was already putting everything away (even the food I had on my table and have not finished it yet)
Great location in the heart of Warsaw. Decent breakfast inclided. Helpful staff. The beds aee a little uncomfortable, but tgat was not a big deal. Good value for the money in the center if the city. The bed.
I do not want to stay at this hotel for next time breakfast and room is not comfortable
the way the room is set
Combination of hotel and appartment, close to National philharmony, close to the center. It wasn't cleaned every day.
This is an amazing place to stay. Hotel Reception was very helpful and responsive. Rooms Nothing. Everything was good.
There was nothing I particularly liked about the hotel. It was adequate. No more. Beware that not all rooms at this hotel are apartments in the sense of having a kitchennette. I booked a twin room in the mistaken believe that I would be getting a kitchen. In fact, this is the one room type that is no different from a rather bog-standard hotel.
The location is excellent There were plastic from chips under a bed((
location, price simple things are difficult to explain to the front desk staff, but they try to help
clean, nice, friendly, good staff, great location the beds were not comfortable at all.
Location, and layout of rooms.
Great location, comfort and service.
The big rooms and facilities.cleanliness. It's a rareity nowadays,but i couldn't fault these appartments.
well-equipped kitchen quiet but central location shared kitchen, things disappeared bath/shower awkward settee-beds small & uncomfortable
Great location, great hosts, superb staff! The breakfast table is the most charming aspect of the hotel...meeting people from all parts of the world! I would highly recommend this place for guests seeking an anthentic, local, charming experience!
Location to Old Town.
Warm-hearted service, nice breakfast, well interior decorated room, good location. I want to stay again when I have a trip to Warsaw.
Excellent breakfasts. Excellent location. Helpful staff, willing to find out train times etc. Not suitable for customers who like their own table at breakfast time. People not used to hotel rooms being in blocks of apartments may not like it. If you are used to hotels in Eastern Europe this hotel is fine. May not suit those who like conventional hotels.
Its location is perfect, on a quiet road but less than 5 minutes walk from most of the city's sightseeing. Also, the name of the road is known by all taxi drivers! The staff really looked after us, arranging for someone to meet us when we arrived late, holding our suitcases after check-out, etc. I was surprised the bathroom was outside the bedroom as I had no prior indication to this at the time of booking, however, it was not a problem as there was no one else staying on my floor. Also, there were no clear instructions regarding breakfast times. Finally, my room was in an adjacent building rather than part of the main B&B - again not a problem but not pre-warned.
Atmosphere was just perfect, felt like you were a guest in someone's home, convenient flexibility, care to detail, openness, real desire to make one's stay perfect.
very good breakfast, nice design
Charming and comfortable B&B in an anonymous building, fully restored internally according to modern criteria. Huge room with own kitchen attached. Gorgeous breakfast. Sufficiently close to the historical centre that you can walk to if you like - but public transport is also there.
The friendly environment and the location no
Chemical smell in the room
Great location Poor quality beds
Staff courteous and helpful. Advantageous location to sites within walking distance. Room comfortable and restful at night. Very nice and economical breakfast available. Very large bathroom. Day time quiet was interrupted by outside construction noises. Very long stairway to hotel room on first floor. Parking for friends very limited. No comfortable chairs in room.
excellent location No noisy disco in the next building disturbing at night
It was really close to the University (not even 5 minutes). It is also near the old town. It is easy to walk around and to get to with the bus from the airport (n°175, stop : university).
Great location, looks like a palace . Well in the room you understand why it is only 2 stars. Uncomfortable bed, sewage smell in the bathroom, way too expensive, obnoxious breakfast girls.
Nice clean hotel, central in town at a resonable price. If we come to Warszawa again, we will stay at Harenda again.
Friendly, professional staff, quiet and clean rooms, price/quality a good deal Rooms could benefit from some refurbishment
some of the reception staff was unfriendly and impatient
We took the biggest room which had its private bathroom and kitchen, as well as separate bedroom and living room. Everything was ready to move in and live there. Location is great (the University area), and stuff is nice and friendly. Trying to be picky, I could say that the room was a bit dark, and there was no TV channels in English )))
