The fact that we can leave our automobile while we are away. The breakfast is very mediocre and there is no internet access in the room or anywhere in the hotel.
not much no shuttle upon sarrival and 45 min late on return
German Countryside This was not a hotel ,it is a 2 star pension but not a hotel, very nice for a country house for guests but very far away from roads and very lonely in some agriculture fields with maybe 4 houses in the neiboroughhood.
it's close to the airport
Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is good but very expensive.
The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
quite They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
So clean, modern and welcoming all around. Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
Proximity to Airport Accomodations Friendly Staff
Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff Expensive
Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected. While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Nice food. Suggest to increase the Chinese food. The wireless is popular right now. I have travelled in many country with free charge of the internet in hotel. Please consider about this.
Too expensive for what you are getting. Also they charge you for airport shuttles...
The hotel can supply it's customer with no charge parking
Simple. Clean. Comfortable. I would have loved to see free access to internet (there is by charge access available but still...)
Location Location Location cost of parking
Good continental breakfast. Very convenient to the airport. Single rooms are very small.
We only stayed one night arrived late and the barman stayed late to serve us drinks, the room was first class and incrdibily clean. no
Staff exceeded expectations.
Great location, minutes from the airport. Departure screens in the lobby keep you updated on flights and gates. Love that breakfast starts as early as 4 am for those early fliers and they put out free evening food when you get in late. Lots of families and seniors there when I came through as it is very good value for the money and extremely convenient. Clean and modern rooms; everything you need. Did not like that the wifi did not work in my room during my stay ... had to do calls and mail from the lobby. Problem with their authentication local staff could not fix.
It was clean
No restaurant inside the hotel.
Bfrekfast at 4 am. is really nice idea. There was some problem with my reservation from booking, but finally hotel was quiet empty so I got room.
Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but enjoyed very much the hours we spent there, most important for us was the easy and very short time to get to the airport. I would'nt change anything.
Rooms tastefully decorated and all amenities extremely helpful. We had previously stayed at the Munich Vier Jahreszeiten, which was excellent, but for small pleasant details, the Moevenpick was more imaginative. Breakfast was outstanding--a gourmet delight. We liked everything.
I had a long layover in Munich and need a place to rest overnight. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was most convienent.
Very convenient to airport, quiet, comfortable bed.
we only stayed one night but we enjoyed our room very much. it was very clean and comfortable. we have tea and coffe in the room. we ate at the restorant and the food was very tasty.
Rooms and restaurant Choise in minibar is too small
Easy access from/to Airport, large rooms, clean bathroom. We had a room that smelling terrible from the previous smoking guest. We had to open the door for 2 hours with outside temperature in 6oC.
very clean very comfortable well appointed room interesting design (central glass lift) location was too isolated, no shops for a long distance by foot staff did not speak English well enough, I needed to find shops but the girl did not explain it to me precisely (did not know 'left' from 'right') and I got lost Shuttle bus should be included in the price and it was not easy to find it at the airport, there was no signpost at the bus complex Hotel should offer all-inclusive deal at a good price, it does not Breakfast did not have any hot food, only cold meats, cheese, eggs, cereals, etc, compared to same hotel in Zurich airport the breakfast was not as good Hotel should offer a small kiosk with basic provisions plus telephone vouchers for making fixed line calls and a normal fixed line instead of the expensive phone you have there - it is a waste of time and money. Instead I will just use my cell phone. I prefer Zurich Aìrport Movenpick where I get a fixed line normal phone in the lobby.
Excellent value for a hotel in this area. Highly recommend for anyone. The hotel is very convenient to the Munich Airport. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathrooms were warm and have all of the extras. The kitchen is excellent, serving a number of local German dishes at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was fresh, great choices and plentiful. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating The hotel airport shuttle costs EU 8 for each way.
Nice clean hotel with excellent cuisine Sound isolation of the room
The pay per view films were not working.
very nice rooms and quite large as well. excellent restaurant, good food and service. I think when you are located far from the airport the transportation to and from the airport should be provided for free in principle. WiFi signal is not that strong in all rooms.
Stay was wonderful Had a little trouble locating the hotel..asked 3 locals for directions and all were poor.
Quality hotel with German style - which is just what we wanted. The food in the restaurant was very good too.
The location was perfect for us. Only 40 min. to the city via the s-bhan, yet only 15 min to the air port. Our only problem wit the hotel was that they allowed smoking in the lounge. We were not comfortable with that. So we were forced to sit in the reception area to have a drink. The staff was accomidating, but I was still surprised at the scoff of the new smoking ban. To be fair it was not only the hotel. We found other place that were also breaking this new smoking ban.
The location in a small town center and the fact of being an old brewery can't think of anything
friendliness of staff and warm atmosphere
The room was very comfortable and very clean with all necessary things. The restaurant of the hotel was perfect with delicious bavarian kitchen and good prices.very close to the airport (15 min.). The breakfast was good with the possibility to order fresh and warm omelets or fried eggs.very recomandet hotel. It was far away from the town 45 min.) but close to the airport.
Very nice hotel, recently refurbished and in a 'scenic' location on a typical Bavarian market square. Very friendly staff, spacious rooms and an excellent restaurant serving excellent local fare. Minibar stocks only water (still / sparkling) and beer (including non- alcoholic). There are no sweets or snacks. There could also be a bit more kit in the wardrobe (such as shoe horn or clothbrush).
Excellent service and excellent room confort Nothing
We only spent one night in our 3 single rooms before our return to the US. The hotel is conveninet to the Munich airport, in the small, quaint town of Erding. It is adjacent to the Erlanger Brewery headquarters, and houses the brewery's restaurant - although the brewery itself is a few kms away. The rooms are totally modern, but still quaint and inviting. The restaurant had great food, great beers (of course), and the prices were reasonable. Breakfast was also very good including eggs to order, smoked salmon, etc, - and worth the 12 euro they charge for it. The only negative was the lighting. Nothing goes on until you insert your electronic key in the master switch. Although the arrangement saves electricity, as the lights go off after the key is removed, our rooms were too dark for reading unless you were in the bathroom.
The people were great and the room was large, new, and comfortable.
Liked easy access from airport. We stayed at this hotel during an overnight layover......was perfect. Liked having food and beverage available as we arrived late. Friendly staff.
Spacious suite, very accommodating staff, comparable to Aloft or Element-type hotels in US No restaurant, only self-service "grab-n-go" food
We left the car at Vogel Parking garage Munchen Airport and spent last night before the flight at Moxy. Hotel is directly connected to a parking garage therefore we left our luggage in a car, pick it up in the morning and use a (free of charge) shuttle bus to Airport. Hotel staff was very kind, room was peaceful and they have everything what you need if you are hungry or thirsty. Shuttle bus should be included in a price
Hotel was clean and tidy and rooms comfortable and we would recommend to others. Some of the staff require customer focus training but this is not a complaint just an observation as we will be coming back on a regular basis.
friendly staff on arival, good central location, staff recomended and booked local resturant upon our information, which was fantastic
The hotel was nice and clean. the staff very polite and attentive. Erding is a small town very charming. Everything was OK"
The staff is absolutely lovely; exteremyl friendly, which made my stay very special The rooms are very clean; the style is a bit old-fashioned
the rooms are a little bit smaler for 4 stars
Erding is a great little town with a well known brewery. The brauhaus has great traditional german food. Almost everything in town is an easy walk from the hotel. Hotel is also 10 KM from Munich Airport, so we stay there when flying from Munich. A little on the expensive side and has no parking. You have to park at the train station parking lot down the street a short distance.
While Erding the city is on the outskirts of Munich, you can stay here and take the train into the city. I stayed here because I wanted a relax atmosphere away from the city. While it is near the airport, the hotel shuttle does not run on Sat and Sun. You can take a bus for 5 euros one way and takes about 20-30 minutes. There is a huge spa called Therme Erding in the city. You can take a 10 minute bus ride there as well.
Well appointed large rooms, fast, free wi-fi, in-room safe, mini bar and flat screen TV. (Smoking and non-smoking rooms available) Good location five minutes walk from town centre and one minute walk to railway station but still very quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. About 15 minutes drive to the airport which could be a drawback for some but fine if you have transport. In-hotel restaurant open in the evening from 6.30pm ~ also hotel bar. Varied choices for breakfast both hot and cold items. All-in-all a great choice.
Thourghly enjoyable stay. Dining was superb and staff only too happy to help. Would definitely stay with this company and in this hotel again
Proximity to the airport, shuttle bus service although considered a bit expensive and very pleasant and attentive front desk staff Nothing disliked thank you for a pleasent stay on 2 occasions.
Your staff was very helpful. The reception desk helped a great deal and should be commended.
nice hotel , with nice reciption non
Location near the airport is excellent, clean room, very nice staff and organised well The cost of breakfast was high - 21 Euros for some cereal!! also the shuttle to the airport - 8 Euros - cheaper to take a taxi
The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms clean and modern. The facilites were conventient for the Munich airport. No issues--all was fine.
Location Exagerated rate which did not equal to the offered service
Nothing, thankfully it was an over night stay and an early flight out in the morning. The 18 Euros breakfast as advertised on the web site included an abundance of house flies in the dining area!!
Relative cheap price; early bird breakfast; nice room The noice from the corridores came in to the room.
Very much a big problem this smoking . I was in a hall before the manager with the child. All smoked in a hall. And it not probably to accept. Therefore we have changed hotel. It is necessary to forbid smoking in hotel. For smoking there should be special places
Good room, good breakfast, good staff
Big room, good service, free airport shuttle, free wireless internet Wireless internet connection was slow and sometimes didn't connect at all
The close access to the Munich Airport. The personell was friendly and approachable. The shuttle bus operation wasn`t really precise.
Very nice hotel, large room, good breakfast. Convenient for the Therme
roomes very spacious clean and well equiped cant think of anything to dislike at this hotel
Allmost every thing No
Henry hotel is a good solid hotel in Erding. It is 5 minutes walk from the town center, and a 10-15 minutes drive from the airport, so it is great for a first or last night in Germany when flying from Munich. It was next to a fairly busy road. Internet costs 5 euro, while in all other hotels in Germany / Austria on this trip it was free.
The room was very nicely appointed and large for this price catagory. The city theme in all the rooms is a nice plus. Although the wireless LAN could be detected, I could not gain access even though at my next location my wireless connection worked perfectly. The signal strength was only fair (2 bars from 5) in my room. This is a serious fault for a hotel catering to business people. Please fix it! I highly recommend this Hotel provided they do something about this.
Lovely hotel, great breakfast, clean room and bathroom. The patio is a great place to eat and relax.
Friendliness of staff, location near airport Charge for Internet
The bed and pillows Long wait for service for dinner, even by European standards, the head waiter was apologetic and I had not even made a complaint, breakfast too expensive
It's location. It is a few miles from the airport, but easily accessible bu bus and much closer than Munich. It is in the charming small town of Freising.
the hotel is good for familly
It was close to the train station, Friesling's city center, free breakfast was good, decor was nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle for a reasonable price to the airport which is what we needed. They did not clean out the garbages and ash trays outside of the elevators so it stunk when you got off the elevator, the hotel had a pool party the first day so you couldn't swim that day and they were very unfriendly. They promised food and there was none to be seen.
Very overpriced relative to other local hotels. It's not really near the airport (20 min drive) so expect a 25 Euro cab fare. My room was clean visually but had a strong mildew smell. I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so I can't really comment on the food, but for $200 bucks you're much better off staying either in downtown Munich or closer to the airport, depending on your needs.
Comfortable, clean and access to the international air port.
wellness facilities are great
Great staff and very comfortable. Nice little town with a good train service to Munich. It's not that close to the airport - around 15 mins drive, although there is a bus service.
Emergency response by staff during a citywide power blackout.
Great Marriott facility, convenient to Muenchen airport.
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable Room became very hot in the middle of the night, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by opening the window.
It is classified as an airport hotel, and Booking.com labels it as 6.3km away from the airport, in fact it is more than 10km away; also, the offer called "Park, Sleep & Fly Offer - Double Room" included an airport transfert for one person only and a charge of €18 for the other person, which is exactly the price for a taxi ride, so we eventually paid for the transfer of both of us, which can't be considered fair practice!
Hotel decor was attractive. Bed was covered with a duvet intsead of a bed spread, making it easier to provide a clean bed for each new guest. Breakfast buffet included a variety of fresh foods and hot entres and the coffee was freshly brewed. Two minor things. There was no coffee pot or hot water pot in the room, and only one English language TV channel. I was there in June and the weather was cool, but in late summer, the lack of AC might be a factor to consider before booking.
The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent - it is an easy walk to the university, to the downtown area with bakeries and restaurants, and also to some of the sights of Freising. the room didn't have air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on several warm days, but was relatively easy to cool off at night with the open window and the fan. As a business traveler, I also prefer staying in a hotel with a gym, but I didn't look for/check on this before hand, so this was my own problem. That said, there are some nearby trails where you can go walk/exercise, which is probably even nicer than a gym, anyway.
Very nice staff. Easy access to hotels, train, and the airport.
Compact but very good room planning
not liked at all. I sent a complaint email to the hotel, they sent a rude reply letter. This is so unhappy to see a service-sector company at 2010, they are running the hotel with an ancient mentaility and not customer oriented.
the service was great and the care for detail was really noticeable, hence the feng shui name.
The Reception and Restaurant staff were very obliging and helpful with a pleasing personality.
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. Service Personnel at breakfast very professional as actually most of the stuff too. Very harmony like business hotel.
Staff very very nice. They helped me for everything I needed. the position of the hotel very near to the center, station, restaurants. the possibility to have breackfast 24 hours per day no babybed avalaible. One 4 stars hotel without bar/eating isn't possible (bar service only in sommer or better....by summer wethear!!! )
Pleasant hotel in an excellent location in the centre of the town. We were able to eat in a very nice courtyard. Parking was convenient. The room and the bathroom were rather crowded, and very warm in hot weather.
very convienient to historic old town and easy access with bikes.
The staff were fabulous, especially one waitress who morning to night was so nice and served me a fabulous chianti! Rooms fab and wine very good. Visiting German family and ideal location. Breakfast- they started clearing up 20-30 mins before the time given. No menus so unsure what we could order for breakfast. Also vey stern 'fraulein' who said no toast but a fab waitress who bought us a very nice eggs and toast breakfast way before the cut off time!
The atmosphere of the hotel was great.
The choice of breakfast was good
Friendly staff, knowledgeable about the town and transportation and helpful. good breakfast
atmosphere reservation made 2 months before, yet rooms in backyard; after repeated complaints one excellent and one rather fair room available.
Staff was helpful and they spoke English. Hotel was unique and kept up. Food was very good. Location was in the center of the town. It was also close to Munich airport,Munich,Passau,Salzburg and other nearby towns.
superb location with parking, english spoken well, very comfortable rooms and great food. Will use this hotel again.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the decor was very pretty and the room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty. For the money, this is the best hotel in Germany I have stayed at.
Very nice (if you are looking for a modern hotel) and good value for the money.
staff tried to co-operate in english
Hotel is modern and comfortable near the river. Center of town is near (five minutes by walk). I didn´t understand to staffs. I was given reduction in price first day, becauce I stayed here with small children. I payed immediately. But third day, I had to pay off full price. At a time discount doesn´t exist. Notice: the breakfest is absurdly expensive.
We had a really nice view from our room. The church and the castle. The Small bed
Nice hotel near by the Isar River. Clean spacey rooms where we could sleep well. The old city centre is within a few minutes walking and there's a good train connection to München as well. When we made the reservation we thought this was a Spa Hotel. It turned out the pictures were from another Linder Hotel in Switzerland... We thought that €18 for breakfast per person was quite pricey (it was not included in our reservation).
The location of this hotel is ideal for staying in Landshut. A short walk across the bridge will bring you into the town centre. 2- 3 mins. Car park daily charge 7.50e. Hotel has a dated decor but it is clean.
Peaceful. friendly staff Had to pay for use of teabag and coffee in room, these are normally complimentry.
A quick taxi ride to the train station, an easy walk to the old city, and closeness to the airport at Munich. Hotel staff's English was excellent. Limited number of cable channels-nothing at all like advertised. Charge for internet. Huge price for breakfast, so we ate out. While waiting for a cab I enquired about a cup of coffee. The person at the desk said I was welcome to one, and they would put the charge on my room bill. Price of airport shuttle is not disclosed on your website, not even a hint of a charge.
Quiet environment, big room, spa ok
Comfortable, with all the features business travelers would expect. A bit more than mature travelers on holiday need. Pricey!
Great location. Good breakfast. No elevator. No alarm clock. Very noisy at night with drunken people in the street between 12:30 am - 3:30 am all three nights. Side note about village. No shops or resaturants accepted USA credit cards. (Hotel accepted credit cards) Brewery Tour cancelled. Terrible Gift shop at Brewery. No free tastings. Traveled 4,000 miles. Stayed in Freising for that reason.
Location was good - right in the historic Neustadt. We turned up to check in at midday to find reception - and everything else - closed until 1pm!
Staff was very nice and friendly!
The hotel staff (at desk) were extremely helpful and polite. Rates for internet access (in room) were quite expensive
Nice, clean place with a good breakfast. Very hard to find a close place to park a car.
good location in the city center no parking, no smoking room or area, small breakfast
very nice location, kind hotel staff, cleanliness, comfort
Lovely non smoking hotel right in the middle of town, the room we had was very quiet modern and clean. recption staff were very friedly and helpfull
