Pros: Clean rooms, loved the new feel of the rooms. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Hampton Inn & Suites Manchester is a great choice for a stay in Manchester. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or splash around at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with free WiFi and free wired Internet.
Cons: The breakfast left something to be desired, to say the least.
Cons: It was well appointed, the staff was great and the breakfast excellent. It's a great place to stay but only if you can sleep through the WHISTLING OF SEVERAL TRAINS NEARBY ALL NIGHT.
Pros: All of the staff were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was complete not just continental. The hotel was very nice! Loved the Southern Hospitality!!
Small and friendly with a yummy free breakfast. Breakfast is perfect for fueling up before heading over to Bonnaroo for the day.
Pros: Free breakfast, cable TV channels, location, safe parking lot, friendliness of the housekeeping staff and desk staff.
Cons: When we arrived our room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned which was disappointing because it was our third year staying there and we hadn't had this issue before. We spoke with front desk & it was resolved with housekeeping re-cleaning (very friendly!).
Everything else was great
Pros: Awesome pillows
Cons: Coffee was awful
Pros: Clean upscale look great free breakfast!
Cons: Location from interstate
Cons: We decided to stay only one night. The manager did not want to refund the money for the second night. She was angry, but finally relented.
Pros: Clean, good breakfast, nice room, and nice staff
Cons: The beds were a little stiff for me, but the worst were the trains going by all night.
Pros: Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was adequate. The room was nice, clean, and well appointed.
Cons: The hotel was located adjacent to a pretty active train track. At least four trains rumbled by in the night blowing their horns and disturbing our sleep.
My sister and I loved staying at this hotel! We stayed for 5 days and nights and enjoyed it throughout. The hotel is easy to find and in a nice location with a variety of stores (Walmart across the street), restaurants, fast foods, and gas stations nearby. The room was beautiful with comfortable furniture, nice TV w/ cable, and a nice bathroom. I really like that it's a smaller size hotel because you don't have to walk miles across parking lots and up stairs to get to your room. It felt secure when I would return in the wee hours and have to go from the parking lot to my room. The dining room is easy to spot (right by the elevator) and the free breakfast was delicious! The hotel was really attentive to refilling any food that was getting low. I loved the sweet Valencia oranges and the bananas. The biscuits and gravy made me happy to know I was visiting the south. The breakfast really helped to get me fueled for my long days ahead at the Bonnaroo music festival. All of the staff was really friendly and made me feel welcome. Housekeeping was attentive with refill towels, etc. when requested. There were only two luggage carts for the hotel but I was able to secure one for unloading and loading my car without a problem. I'm not someone who gets to vacation very often so for me it's a very big deal to be able to do so. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel next year!
Pros: I liked that the hotel was not huge so walking to and from was short.I loved the free breakfast everyday especially the nice variety of protein and fresh fruits.Easy to find location. Beautiful room with nice TV, AC, furniture. No smoking. Friendly staff!
Cons: The bed mattress was too firm for my back problems. The room mini refrigerator did not have a freezer. This was problematic because I wanted to freeze my ice packs.

Pros: This is a fairly new property so everything is in good condition. The rooms were a traditional layout so very familiar. Bonus amenities included a small refrigerator, TV with built in DVD player and a bedside clock that had a nice power station, 2 USB and 2 outlets. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was the usual but probably closer to fresh made than most.
Cons: While the rod were fresh and clean they were on the smaller size. Business travelers may find the lack of a desk space limiting at least in the 2 bed layout. The indoor pool was a nice bonus but the room was very warm and hard to get comfortable sitting watching kids swim. I might choose a different property if I was staying longer but for a nice reasonably priced place to sleep it really was a good choice.
Pros: Clean, quiet
Cons: Over prices slightly
Pros: Clean room, comfy bed, nice people who work there gave great directions and assisted with anything I needed. Will stay again!

Pros: A clean, well-maintained hotel. Beds and linens are very comfortable. Our 2 bed room was more spacious than most. WiFi worked well. They even offered omelet & sausage for breakfast in addition to fresh fruit, yogurt, and the usual carb loaded choices.
Pros: Some of the customer service
Pros: The hotel was super clean, breakfast was incredible, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I cannot stand it when hotels are pet friendly. We are not fans of dogs and there were SO many dogs in the hotel at the same time of our stay.
Pros: Great room and service. I am not an animal locver lover and believe they should have separate rooms just for animals.
Pros: very clean, very modern, excellent location in Shelbyville, in a nice, safe area, staff was very friendly, everyone spoke English
Pros: Free breakfast clean towels
Cons: Staff not very friendly at times did not make my wife cookies when they said they would. How to embarrass me in front of another customer when talking about financial matters except boys
Pros: We needed a larger room and they were very accommodating even though they were fully booked. Breakfast was hot and fresh.
Pros: It was a new hotel
Cons: The door to the room would not lock was told we had to lift up on door to lock it we left and came back to room after maid cleaned room and door was not locked i feel we should have been give another room that the door would lock very dissatisfied
Cons: Silverfish seen in my room. Coffee maker broken. Elevator was broken on the day I left. Dining area was much too small for the number of people.
Pros: Excellent accomodations for the price!
Pros: Hotel was very clean and well presented. The staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to take care of us.
Pros: Bad experience hotel was booked a month in advance; 2 rooms, one of the rooms was some how canceled and occupied by another patron. Had to go nearly 20 miles to find a room. Terrible experience.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The room was as also. Breakfast had several choices.
Cons: I stayed in a Hilton guarden inn once and your hotel reminded me of it as far as quality but they had a resturaunt/kitchen there that made your breakfast cook to order and had a full bar as well. Maybe something like that would step it up a bit but all in all it was comfortable and we were able to get plenty of rest.
Pros: Everything was great
Pros: The facilities were clean, very well maintained, and the staff was efficient and courteous. Outstanding place to stay.

Pros: Newly updated hotel. Room was somewhat small and the bathroom door opens out and blocks flow of room. Other than that, no complaints. Did not try breakfast. Clean and quiet.
Cons: Smoking rooms available, hallways has a faint smoke smell. Not too bad though.
Pros: It was right next to a restaurant.
Cons: The woman at the front desk could not find my reservation.
Pros: The location.
Cons: The front desk lady was in a bad mood and kinda rude. The bathroom was dirty. Toliet paper holder falling off. Ac stunk like smoke like it was burning up and mildewy
Pros: The desk clerk was very hospitable and handled everything professionally. The room was clean and stocked with towels, soap, and coffee maker.
The sign on the building has another name so it's kind of confusing if you don't know.
Pros: Very clean. Nice staff, always offered to help me carry things to my room.
Cons: There isn't an elevator which can make carrying any amount of luggage difficult.
tho this is not a fancy place it is clean and safe and very well run with plenty of parking even when fully booked... also close to a nice grocery store a nice resturant and several fast food options
Pros: quiet extremely clean rooms and excellent maid service... also left an iphone when i checked out and it was returned to management... excellent wifi coverage with very good speed
Cons: a little frayed and dated but currently being renovated... no elevator
Price was a little high for the type of hotel. OK place to spend a night but nothing fancy, It would be a better bargin at about $10 less per room.
Pros: First floor room. Recliner chair. Clean bathroom. Bed not great---but OK.
Cons: Sheets clean but very thin---wore out. Curb at front door. Hard to use carts, walkers, or wheeler suitcases. No grab bars for tub---very slippery and nothing to hold on to.
Since we were new to the area, having the free breakfast was wonderful.
Pros: The ladies at the front desk were so helpful to us. They gave us exactly what we wanted in regards to a room. They were accommodating to us that a room on the second floor would be hard for us ~ but they did give us a room on the first floor,
This hotel used to offer make your own Belgian waffles for breakfast. Now they just have some Eggo's and a toaster sitting on the counter. NOT what I was anticipating. The bed was harder than the floor.
Pros: The staff.
Cons: The bed.

Pros: Room was clean, staff were friendly family friendly nieghborhood :)
Cons: Dining area for breakfast was small and crowded some folks had to take food back to thier room, no place to sit :(

I booked this hotel for five nights while staying in Shelbyville because of the excellent reviews. When I checked in on Thursday evening I let the front desk know the tv remote did not work and the door lock was sticking making it very difficult to open. I was told it would be fixed in the morning. Day 2, tv remote did not work and door lock was sticking. The front desk says there was a note that remote worked and the door was fine. I asked the staff to come to my room and she confirmed tv remote didn't work and door lock was sticking. Day 3 tv remote was fixed but I was told it would be Monday before the lock would be fixed. Monday lock was replaced by maintenance and I was more than ready to leave. I talked to the general manager on Monday, he was off for the weekend, he said he was sorry. No further explanation. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
Cons: I booked a room for 5 nights. The first two nights the tv remote did not work. It was fixed for the third night. The lock on the door jammed making it very difficult to open. It was replaced after the forth night.
They are slowly upgrading but would expect a lot better rooms for a best western plus. They staff really could care less about the customer and the breakfast was very minimal.
Cons: Even though they are upgrading still a long way from 2 stars!
Pros: We found the accommodation very clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the attention to maintenance and cleanliness. The place we stayed the night before, a Ramada Inn, had old carpets that you didn't want to walk on barefoot. We'll visit you again!

Pros: Big clean room, comfy bed, flat screen TV, lots of clean towels. Great continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, biscuits, fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt.

Cons: There was trash on the exterior of the building. It does not look like it has been maintained. My room stank and they tried to cover ti up with chemicals. Made me want to choke. The noise at this place was terrible, partly because it is so close to the expressway. Felt like my room was dirty too. Wouldn't even sit on the bedspread. Ran out of breakfast items (including coffee creamer) and did not replace.

Pros: convenient location and price
Cons: room could have been a little cleaner
Pros: The location of this hotel was great for what I needed, good price, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: I stayed at this hotel a year ago top floor and it was great. This time my room was on the bottom floor and it sounded like the people above me were remodeling their room. I don't think they were actually doing anything disruptive but it was very noisy.
Pros: The breakfast and bath tub
Cons: not at 2 1/2 star hotel in my opinion.
Pros: Clean rooms nice and updated you
Cons: Booked a smoking room, when we arrived there was no smoking room available.....Reason for booking this room was there was smoking available.
Pros: Not much of anything.
Cons: It was hands down the worst stay I've ever experienced at a hotel. The desk agen was rude to my children and to me and when I complained about our towels not being replenished she told me I was not welcome to return.
Pros: It was close to everything that I needed to get to.
Cons: Not really
Cons: Noise they were cleaning the room next to me at 730 am vacuuming etc.
Cons: Noisy neighbors but that's the fault of the hotel.
Pros: the young woman at the desk when we arrived was wonderful. We were tired from the drive, had to go to the bathroom, I left my phone behind. She was kind and caring got us into a room and got my phone back to me with a smile.

Cons: Room was clean but vy much in need of an update. The breakfast, by current standards, was very meager lacking fruit, oatmeal, etc. we went to Starbucks on leaving for better food and coffee.
Pros: Very clean - friendly staff
Cons: continental breakfast sparse
Pros: That I was able to get the AC stared in the room every hour after switching it to heat, raising the temperature and turning it to cool.
Cons: And when we got to room number 125 we found mold across the bottom of the bedskirt and there were stains in the carpet and also the acrid odor of urine heavily laden the air greeting us like an old friend into the room. In the next room we found the decimated remains of which seem to be an entire colony of stinkbugs. Onto room number 3. This room feature spectacular stained pillowcases as well as an air conditioning unit that had to be turned onto heat raise the thermostat and then turn back onto cool every hour and a half. Upon check out and review of my portfolio I saw that I was charged the incorrect amount of $86 for two dogs instead of $45. Interestingly enough the credit card and the billing address on my portfolio didn't match to any credit card number that I possess or any household that I've ever occupied. I was assured that this would be fixed and I'll be calling my credit card up to find out once I arrive at my destination.
Pros: Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean.
Cons: Walls had ABSOLUTELY NO insulation. I could hear everything going on in the rooms next to me, and above me! I could even hear things going on down the hall from me. I heard every single door slam in that hotel. Sleeping was terrible. The pool wasn't open either. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I will not stay here again. The amount I paid for this hotel was not worth it.

Cons: Yes it was loud noises. It was dirty and beds was uncomfortable
Pros: The location was near everything.
