The nicest staff. Great location. The rooms were charming and clean.
It reminds me of France, has the most comfortable beds, and offers a free wine hour every day!
-Free wifi -pet friendly -location -bathrooms -directv
-breakfast overpriced -small rooms -mattresses ok
Hotel stay was wonderful everything is pretty close to the hotel and everyone is very nice.
Comfy and cozy room with a spacious shower. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Parking is an issue as it is scarce and only for two hours. You WILL be ticketed if you park longer. If you are not a DC resident, brush up on your parking rules for the city!
Overall, a wonderful hotel. Nice thick walls so that noise doesn't travel. The shower was big enough for 2 people. A nice breakfast ($12. pp) which saved us from having to go out.
Parking wasn't included and street parking was only for 2 hours until the evening.
Close walk to several restaurants, generally clean and well-maintained, good for one-night trips
Breakfast cost extra, website said the hotel had parking (which would cost extra) but when it seems the parking deck was closed and I had to park on the street, the lights to half my room didn't work because of a circuit issue which should have been discovered before I checked in, no counter space or shelving in the shower
Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Intimate hotel with old fashion, small room but beautifully updated bath. My wife loved the wall paper. Great location. Parking no problem. The opposite of big and corporate. Very generous with wine hour and condiments at all hours.
At first we noticed a few cleaning issues but forgot about them after a few minutes. Cleaning staff sometimes had loud conversations in the hall outside the room.
The staff was warm and helpful. It felt like a bread and breakfast. The location was ideal, close to food etc.
Was a bit cold in the room
Super friendly and helpful staff Free wine hour (5-6ish daily) Great location Nice decor and style
Most aspects exceeded my expectations
Small hotel but quite pretty. I loved the classic style in the decoration, with dark tones and patterned wallpapers. My room was lighter, with a really comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The room also includes a mini fridge with two complimentary bottles of water, a Nespresso machine, and a cute reading nook. Really couldn't ask for more. Would definitely consider staying there again if I ever return to DC.
It's about 15 blocks from either metro station. If you get off at DuPont Circle, the street takes a 45 degree turn that will give your legs quite the workout after an entire day of walking around monuments and museums.
