Pros: Great view; high Standard; exclusive breakfast;
Cons: limited space in the bathroom
Pros: The hotel is a little bit far from the high way, but it was worth to spend the time for driving their. The hotel is comfortable, good breakfast, nice spa, wifi speed was rather good, room had nice view and was warm, conditioning is working really quite. So, I had good experience.
Pros: Breakfast and evening meal were excellent and the staff in the restaurant were brilliant. The views from our room were fantastic.
Pros: Lovely view of a castle, valley, especially on a sunny, fall day. Staff was friendly and helpful, and did their best to assist.
Cons: This would be a fine place for someone looking for R&R. I was traveling for work and it didn't work well in terms of location - not convenient for getting to a train station or going into town. You need a car, and I didn't have one, and it was not always easy to get a taxi. The beds were hard (more of a cultural difference). I was expecting to be wowed by the spa facilities. The pool was too small for laps. In the end, I think most people know what they are looking for when they go, and they will be happy. For a solo business traveler, who wanted some exercise options, this was okay yet not a great fit. Still, it was an interesting cultural experience, understanding what locals would want in a spa experience.
Pros: Location great with awesome views and wonderfully quiet. Work unfortunately prevented me getting to try out the rest of the hotel and its facilities. Will definitely stop here again if the opportunity arises.
Pros: wellness, dinner
Cons: cold coridors
Pros: The location of the hotel, the beautiful scenery, the beautiful and clean rooms like all other public areas of the hotel. The parking was good and comfortable. Breakfast on the restaurant terrace was excellent as well as dinner in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant staff was very efficient and courteous. All in all, the experience was perfect. Except for the air conditioner that did not help to reduce heat.
Cons: It was hot during our stay, and to our exasperation the air conditioner was not at all noticeable.
Pros: Very helpful staff, good breakfast.
Cons: There is no elevator at all in the hotel. My mother uses a wheelchair and as she was on the upper floor, it was difficult for her to get to her bedroom and downstairs. Carrying luggage in the stairs was difficult for all of us as it was heavy. How come a 3-level property built in 2012 has no elevator? This is beyond me.
Pros: The room was very clean, the restaurant was perfect, the staff was freindly. The wellness was clean and very good. The view was incredible....
Cons: Normal internet was very good, but I can't use VPN connection to my workplace.

Pros: We were really more than satified. Extremely quiet, clean rooms, good breakfast. Free outdoor parking.
Cons: No elevator (was not really an issue for us). Good WiFi-connection, but extremely slow.
Pros: Comfortable room and spacious for a family of 4. Delicious food at the restaurant.
Cons: CAsh only accepted which I did not realise until I came to pay.
With a stay at Hotel Sonne in Eichstaett, you'll be steps from Naturpark Altmühltal and a 3-minute drive from Eichstaett Jurassic Museum. Featured amenities include coffee/tea in a common area and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was particularly good.
Cons: Wifi was not at all good.
Pros: Great breakfast and dinner menu Lovely typical German furniture and restaurant.
Cons: All good
Pros: This is a family run business and the owners are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I don't speak much German, but that wasn't a major problem. They accommodated a specific request I made with ease - coming up with a number of possible solutions. The breakfast was amazing - a lot of choice, including homemade preserves! - that alone are worth the return trip I'm planning later in the year!
Cons: The hotel is currently undergoing some alterations - this created a small amount of inconvenience and a bit of noise during the day. That said, the work is nearly complete and the finished result will be of benefit to the Hotel. The owners are passionate about providing good service - I definitely picked up on that vibe during my visit. My trip was badly timed in that I arrived during the transformation and stayed in my room until noon! Most guests would not be in the Hotel during the day while the building work was happening, so this would not be an issue.
Pros: Very nice and warm Hotel in cozy little Town not far from Nuremberg with friendly staff. The room is extremely clean and the bed is one of the most comfortable I've been in. Very good Breakfast as well. Would visit it again!
Cons: WiFi could be better, on the second floor is moderate to weak signal.
Pros: Large and comfortable room with good facilities and bathroom. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast itself excellent.
Cons: Now not a restaurant/pub, but ample possibilities within a few hundred metres.
Pros: The woman who checked me in and out was super friendly. The breakfast buffet had great variety, and the breakfast room vaulting was fantastic.
Cons: Really no major critique.
Pros: It is near the university. Everyone goes out of their way to help. Restaurant cooks tasty food. There is private secured parking The actual rooms are across the small street. Very quiet, sound proofed rooms with breakfast area in same building .
Pros: Lovely room, perfect facilities, in a quiet location in the town. Fabulous breakfast, with lots of choice - including made preserves. Looking forward to my next stay
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Pros: Lovely old exterior with modern interior. Very short walk from town centre but in a quiet location. Secure parking in an enclosed court. Buffet breakfast with a wide range of fresh foods.
Cons: Little variety of fruit for breakfast
Pros: Breakfast was ok. Parking was available close to room. Wifi was fairly strong.
Cons: Very old fashioned. Needs renovation badly. No fridge, iron or microwave. Towels like sandpaper. Very expensive. Owner told us that he charged 15% more with reservations that came through Booking. Com. In addition, Booking.Com's search mask had a problem: I made the reservation for 1 room, 2 people for 80 euro but when I got to the hotel the owner told me that the price given was only for 1 person. I had to pay 15 euro more for my wife. I felt ripped off! Very expensive for quality. There are closer, cheaper hotels available in town!
With a stay at Hotel Adler in Eichstaett, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Naturpark Altmühltal and 10 minutes by foot from Eichstaett Jurassic Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was good and a lovely place to visit
Cons: Advertised as English speaking and on site private parking. When we arrived there was no one who could speak any English. On site private parking was a public underground car park approx. 300 metres away. We were traveling on a motorcycle so the parking was the main issue as you went around the barrier to get in and out so not secure at all. Receptionist next morning blamed booking.com for not listing the hotel properly !!
Pros: The staff is really friendly. She always welcome me like an old friend. The room ia cleaning and comfortable. The location is good.
Cons: The door is not tight enough, when.somebody passed, it is not quiet.
Pros: Good staff, easy access.
Cons: Lovely large room but with very bad lighting. Only low bedside lamps, no overhead lighting and no other lamps for reading. Only one pillow provided for each person which were flat and uncomfortable.
Pros: The central location, the excellent breakfast and the helpful staff.
Cons: It's a historic building. My door was very low. As a tall person who never has problems with regular sized doors, it was a challenge for me. We had three rooms that all cost the same. One room was located in the interior of the building. It had a window that opened on to a very small central core of the building with no view. There was almost no fresh air access on that hot humid day - an unfortunate floorplan!
Pros: I had a fantastic, huge room at the front of the hotel with three windows giving a great view into the town square. They had a totally secure bike storage since I was cycling the Danube Cycle Route. Very helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Prime location in the town centre.
Cons: Could have done with air con in the room as we stayed there on some of the hottest days so far this year (36C !).
Pros: The Hotel Adler is a friendly and comfortable place to stay. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. The inn is also in the center of town and convenient to just about everything. I recommend it highly.
Cons: On warm and hot nights a fan in the room would be nice.
Pros: Very nice staff, very nice location.
Cons: The stairs were quite worn to the point that if I had not been holding on to the rail I might have tripped. If you use the elevator this wouldn’t be a problem.
Pros: Large room safe, good bed, good shower, friendly personnel, central location, old renovated hotel, elevator, no music/radio in breakfast room.
Cons: Dim light in bathroom
Pros: Central location
Cons: Well, we had an electric black out for six hours. No light in the corridors for a long time. No visible emergency plan in the hotel and even no emergency lighting
Located on the Altmühltal Cycle Route, this non-smoking guest house in the Old Town district of Eichstätt offers Bavarian and Mediterranean food, a traditional-style beer garden, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Only 200 metres from the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, the Braugasthof Trompete has bavarian styled bright rooms with soundproofed windows. Most rooms were renovated in the beginning of 2018. Rich buffet breakfasts are prepared at the Trompete. Regional and Italian dishes are served in the Trompete’s country-style restaurant. Cocktails can be enjoyed at the bar. Free parking outside the Trompete Braugasthof is possible upon availability and on request. Nuremberg city centre is about 80 km away.
Pros: I like every thing. Tho
Cons: about this hotel except the bathroom and toilet it build separate. I need to leave my room b4 I can use toilets
Pros: perfect breakfast, they even serve espresso
Pros: room and toilet
Cons: shared bathroom was too far from the room
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Limited coffee.
Cons: No bathroom in the room..no shower in the room, fake beds,i thought that if i move the bed will fall
Pros: I had the room with the shared bathroom. Perfect! Very clean, very nice staff, delicious food!
Cons: Noisy. The towels and bedding were old. The shared shower didn't work very well, and was very small. Remember guests have to change in there too. The bedroom was very small and noisy.
Pros: The staff were very kind and helpful, breakfast was great and the room was very well furnished. The town is picturesque.
Cons: The room was right next to the outdoor restaurant and it was a bit too loud. Also there is just one bathroom for some three or four rooms, I recommend booking a room with own bathroom.
Pros: I liked the decor - Bavarian checkered blankets made it very cozy. The breakfast was limited but fine. The staff were friendly and tried to find me an upgraded room since it wasn't made clear that my room had no bathroom.
Cons: It wasn't clear that I was getting a budget room with toilet and shower outside. Not my cup of tea. Also there's no secure room for luggage, so I had to leave it in the hall while conducting business which made me nervous. Otherwise facilities were fine.
Pros: Great location! Good food.
Cons: For the love of God invest in some fans!
Located in Schernfeld, Waldgasthof Geländer is a 1-minute drive from Naturpark Altmühltal and 10 minutes from Eichstaett Jurassic Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly staff quite kind and cooperative, good breakfast.
Cons: The hotel should be renewed. In my room heating was not working so it was quite cold.
Pros: Beautiful views from balcony, range of facilities, excellent breakfast including cook your own eggs
Cons: Direction on Booking website were incorrect. Hotel is miles from Schernfeld village and road directions are inadequate
Cons: Internet, I need it on travel to plan next days activities!
Pros: Just about everything: location, personnel, diningroom, friendliness from reception to departure. Room with a view and much more. Will definitely go back.
Cons: Cannot think of anything!
Pros: The surroundings was great near the park
Pros: it's a lovely location in the forest. you can find wild life around and straight at the restaurant on your table. Very quiet place. Different from other locations. Certain style and design present. Food was good.
Cons: Besides indifferent service and uncomfortable pillow, seriously bad was absence of hot water in the shower (!) and no wi-fi. Rooms are in separate building short walk from the main one and restaurant.
Pros: Friendly service. Good quality and a good prices for evening diner.
Cons: No real mobilphone connection there. WiFi doesn´t work proberly

Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: Didn’t realise the stop manning the ddjk at 8pm
Pros: a lot of space in room, comfortable bad, clean room, good breakfast, parking possible
Cons: more parking places
Pros: I had a good room in a great location at a fair price. I will definitely stay with them again when I return to Eichstätt.
Cons: My German is poor, and their English (while better than my German!) is limited. We managed well enough, but our interactions were not complicated.

Pros: Staff attitude was excellent
Cons: Location if you come by car its little difficult
Pros: Everything was awesome. Comfy room, cool staff. Quiet, relaxing. Just awesome.
Cons: We were traveling with the family of 6 from Italy to NL and we booked online 2 rooms for 3 (adding small beds for our 6 yr and 7 yr old) . Since we were late to arrive we called the hotel to ask if the reception would still be open. When arriving at 2330 we found two keys at the reception. When inspecting the rooms we only found two double size beds. we tried to use the phone at the reception but nobody answered so we ended up sleeping with 3 in one bed. Very uncomfortable. the next morning we wanted to leave early due to the heavy snow. We still did not find anybody at the reception and the restaurant was closed. We left without having seen anybody at the hotel. The rooms were ok but the bathroom was old and noisy due to the ventilator that is connected to the light.
Pros: Everything... Very clean and comfortable bed..
Cons: No lift for 2nd floor..
Located in Eichstaett, Hirschenwirt is in the suburbs, a 1-minute drive from Naturpark Altmühltal and 6 minutes from Eichstaett Jurassic Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a safe deposit box at the front desk. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Price, courtesy of Staff, location.
Pros: The hotel is comfortable, with a nice breakfast, and they accommodated me arriving slightly after the normal check in time. It's set in a beautiful area on the edge of Eichstaett.
Cons: The staff were not very friendly. One sent us to a guest house where our rooms were, which was down the street, with no clear directions, and it was dark. The manager provided me with an invoice as requested, but seemed annoyed that I had not provided an address (which I had not been asked for until then) and kept interrupting our conversation to argue with other members of staff.
Pros: In a quiet location, but lively atmosphere
Cons: Room was very dated and in the attic within the pitch of the roof. Very restrictive for a 6ft 3 inch man. As ever I was left feeling that I was given a lesser room because I booked through ‘Booking.com’ this happens every time!!
Pros: The hotel is located in a quiet suburb of Eichstätt. Especially suitable as starting point for hiking and biking. Very friendly and proactive staff. Good breakfast. Rooms with a practical style of furnishing which makes it very easy to store the luggage. Restaurant with fast service and good quality local style menu.
Cons: Just OK
Pros: The exclusively foreign waitresses were very friendly, despite being probably (and according to former staff) severely underpaid and overworked. The place was clean and simply functional. The information leaflet was very well thought through.
Cons: The owner lets you feel that you are only there to leave money. Support and effort on his behalf was as little as possible, as much as necessary. The male staff were only good at smoking. We travelled on a 3 week road trip with a small baby and the subsequent amount of suitcases, backpacks, stroller, child seat, more bags, and so on. On arrival, the male staff watched me and my wife carry everything inside, without even asking if they could assist. Instead they continued smoking and eating. A waitress kindly gave us a key, pointed at the narrow staircase to the first floor and told us that there was no lift. Upon departure we called the reception and asked for help with the luggage. The owner arrived with a male staff member. He looked at all our luggage, pointed his guy towards the two suitcases which he then subsequently took all the way to the reception. The owner left empty handed! I then had to get everything else myself, and pick up the suitcases at the reception and drag them through the restaurant to our car! The place is lucky to be without competition!

This hotel has facilities measuring 4682 square feet (435 square meters), including a conference center. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great breakfast, window oriented to park, so we could keep it open most of the time, great/big bed.
Cons: Wifi is barely usable. I can spot very large number of access point, but packet loss is huge, and https based vpn to my company was not working. It is a shame as this is probably something that is going to impact business customers, and I know it is not expensive to fix.
Pros: nice SPA area with finish sauna and outdoor pool
Cons: (all was nice but the steam bath was still out of order)
Cons: - Room was too small - Bathroom was not clean - WiFi connection was not good - Breakfast was also not as expected.
Cons: The wellness center is not properly maintained. Multiple items were not working including the sauna. Some showers were also not functioning.... The wi-fi was extremely week. We got told we would need to pay extra to get better connection... There was no air conditioning and one of our room was extremely warm. Eventually we even had to pay 3 EUR extra for using the outside hotel car park ... Staff was made of relatively junior people with no authority to make any update/improvement to the situation. I would not recommend this location at all.
Cons: Clearly not a place for you as a family. ...and not an exclusive couple “spa resort” either. We were a family of three who booked a double room. We booked a double room as our little girl is 4 years old and sleeps with us in hotels. We’ve done that all over the world with no issues. This place wanted us to book one more room as we were not allowed to be three in the room! So not only twice the cost, but not allowing a small child to sleep with her parents is really low and inflexible! If this wasn’t bad enough, they handled it in an extremely cold and arrogant way. Knowing a little bit about customer service, you know that you can actually give a pleasant experience being nice and understanding even though you might have a bad message or a rule you cannot bent. They did everything but!! They treated us like a cash machine in a rigid system of rules and robot-like receptionist. Not giving a damn about anything else but their own rules. A very bad way to handle this situation. It is definitely not a way to excel in customer service towards people who come to have a nice experience. I can really not recommend this hotel - definitely not for a family, but not as a spa hotel for a couple either. Many nice pools and two kids pool (go figure ;-), but not a spa feeling. However I will recommend the restaurant with the beer garden. Nice food and friendly staff. Thanks. I hope this was useful for you as a traveler - and maybe as a hotel you want to consider your rules, but most of all, and most importantly, how you train your staff to handle these rules.
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant on site has delicious food, and the breakfast is awesome ! The pool next to the bar is great too, nice garden patio... definitely great stay, would come back.
Cons: free wifi a little slow, but paid wifi is superfast and only $10 per 24hrs.
Pros: Comfortable room, recreation area, bar & restaurant open late hours, extremely friendly welcome Close to West Park and Ingolstadt industry area.
Cons: Saunas were not operating full power, probably due to lower demand & energy savings, this is understandable. An option to have a Spegelei for breakfast would be a great addition. Ingolstadt city center needs a ride.
Pros: Great wellness !
Pros: Nice hotel with beautiful internal and external swimming pool and variety of saunas, one can relax there whole day. Very good restaurant
Cons: Not sure if there is AC in other rooms, but my room did not have one. quite important in such hot days as there are now.
