We would definitely stay there again if we had occasion to be in the area overnight. It was 25 miles from the place of our business of the occasion, but was a pleasant drive between points. We would be happy to recommend it to others. The most surprising thing about the bill was that the total taxes and fees (besides the xxx charge) came to just $1.21.
Pros: As a Bed & Breakfast it rates quite high. My wife and I were the only guests the night we stayed there. The owner and hostess lives down the street and she arrived on time in the morning with a wonderful breakfast for us. We were accommodated well!
Cons: The access to the storm shelter (which we did not need) was locked, so if a tornado had come through we would have had no place to go.
Cons: Took longer than expected to get breakfast voucher.
Pros: Nearby restaurants.
Cons: Very dated but knew what to expect.
Pros: nothing special, considering the location in this part of KS it was what I would expect
Pros: Best part of the stay was that they had very comfortable mattresses.
Cons: Shower/tub is way to tiny and it was dirty with some kind of brown oil and the handle to regulate the the temperature was broke off.
Pros: Room was nice and clean
Cons: It would be nice to have 2 chairs in room if you wanted to watch TV, etc, but we weren't in room long enough to need.
Pros: Convenient, easy to find
Cons: Advertised a free breakfast, was not offered
Pros: The young woman at the front desk was absolutely the best. Friendlier than about anyone I've dealt with around the country. The people at the breakfast diner were almost as good. Would stay there again if the need arose.
Pros: The rooms are generous in size and the beds are comfortable. Could select from the menu at the diner for breakfast.
Cons: The door bell entering the lobby. It had a very piercing sound.
There is a diner in front of the hotel where you received a voucher for two types of breakfasts or $7.55 for anything on the menu. I picked one of the breakfasts and it was fine.
Pros: The room was neat and clean. The room was ready when I arrived. The air conditioning was on.
Pros: The free hot meal included with the stay.
Cons: I feel the motel is a little over priced for the included amenities. The WiFi doesn't work very well; very slow and spotty.
Pros: It was very clean, nice locations, very comfortable.
It was a good room for a great price.
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: The help was very rude and very short with all the customers.
