3 beds in a very large room, and the location to six flags
Old and very run down. They have updated the lobby, but that is it. It appears to me that they have allowed the property to deteriorate beyond repair and that the property will probably have to be torn down. They gave us vouchers for breakfast, so I thought we had something to look forward to, but it was awful.
The only positive I can say about our stay at this hotel is we received one of the recently remodeled rooms and it wasn't nearly as gross as the rest of the hotel. The room itself was clean and the bathroom was recently remodeled.
However, the rest of the hotel is a different story. The halls smell of a mix between mold and garbage, the carpet is dirty and upon exploring the entire hotel there are halls with exposed pipes, minimal lighting, and broken doors. While walking around we passed a conference room with the door propped open, when we looked inside it was clear a party had taken place and the entire room was strewn with half empty liquor bottles and garbage. The hallway to the pool is covered in what seems to be saw dust (even though I saw no construction going on the entire time we were there) and has a busted window as well as the pool area having a busted sliding glass door. The secured back door #3 was broken and propped open slightly allowing anyone to mosey into the hotel. One hallway off the lobby has a huge cut out in the ceiling exposing rusty water pipes, and according to the OSHA paperwork hanging on the wall below it, asbestos debris that fall out of this hole. This hotel also does not appear to be in a great area in town either with apartment buildings directly behind the parking lot. Overall we lucked out considerably with the 'executive' room, however everything just felt kind of gross and super neglected. I would highly recommend looking at literally any other hotel in the area.
This hotel was a nightmare. It looks like that should be charging by the hour. Our room had black hair all in the bathroom and the phone didn't even work in our room. The whole hotel smelled awful. I wouldn't let my dogs stay at this hotel.
Nothing walked out asked for a full refund and went somewhere else to stay. This is not 3 stars
This place is nasty, dirty , smelled horrendous
Nothing, they refused my reservation even after I showed confirmation of reservatio and proof that the room had been paid for
Nothing. Terrible service and all but one employee was extremely rude. I want someone in charge to give me a call. My number is 920-255-1053. If you don't call me I will be calling you.
The beds were reasonably comfortable.
Upon arrival, there was an issue at the front desk with another customer that created a line of people waiting for the one employee who could check people in. We waited 20 minutes before being able to speak to the front desk. After checking in, we asked if there were vending machines in the hotel to get a snack. We were told there were not any vending machines and only the very limited snack section of their Ramada Mart. We later discovered 3 snack vending machines a short distance down one of the hallways toward the pool. The front desk had lied to us. We saw signs for the pool/sauna and decided to check it out. The sauna had no indications that it was out of order other than the door had been screwed shut and handle broken off of the door. There were also no towels being restocked at the pool. Next we decided to check out the restaurant and bar that were advertised outside and on their website. BOTH have been completely closed for some time with a sign that just says "sorry for the inconvenience". Apparently this is the reason that the complimentary breakfast consists of bagels, donuts, and cereal. Our room was somewhat clean, but we found a piece of medical tape hanging from a pipe above the shower. The television in our room was practically non-functional. We could barely get then tv on and at that time could not get the channels to change with either the remote or the buttons on the tv. Also, the hotel had very little parking in front, which wouldn't be a problem except multiple doors that faced the rear parking lot had keycard locks that did not work at all! This hotel also claims to be a preferred Six Flags hotel that will sell tickets before you go to the park. We were told by TWO different front desk employees that this was also a complete lie and they DO NOT sell tickets. We asked if we could print some off with their printers. We were told that they could not do this for us AND that the business center they had for guests was out of order as well! The staff in general was just plain rude including the women who cleaned the rooms. So many things at this hotel were broken, did not work, or in ill repair that I would not recommend that anyone stay here. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else!
The bed was super clean and comfortable. The hot water was perfect. The WiFi was not too shabby. Decent selection of channels on the TV.
My room didn't have a shower curtain and we had to notify management three times before housekeeping brought us one.
Great and helpful staff, unbeatable location for getting to the NAVY base. I loved it!!
