The dilicious Kokoscream soup
Hospitality of staff, excellent kitchen, calm location
Friendly staaf, Food was nice
breakfast, pool in the house, superb child-pool-area, playground and play-room, free of charge baby-cot, nice surroundings for walking, ...we're coming back!
There was a very beautiful park near the hotel and also a good swimming hall. The bathroom had a bad smell and the double bed was narrow.
relaxed and very welcoming
Excellent dinner and very helpful servers in translating the menu for us. Vitalis, the wellness center, it open to the public which makes the facilities crowded.
Only 1 hour drive (car) from my hometown no
Nice hotel; but no safe or minibar in rooms (even in extra confort)
Very nice and large room. Excellent restaurant and nice breakfast. One gets very much for a small price. Correct service.
The staff at the Dagstuhler Hof were amazing. Neither my wife nor myself speak any German and they went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of and that we had everything we needed. The room itself was very nicely furnished with an amazing shower and the restaurant on premises was fantastic. We booked a "gourmet" (think that is what it was called) weekend. For the same price as similar hotels in the area we received a three course meal for both my wife and myself on both nights of our stay. The meals where phenomenal with delicious soups, entrees, and desserts. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting stay in a beautiful village a short drive away from the historical city of Trier.
The room was lovely and the food was great.
We chose this hotel as a stop over en route to and from a holiday in Austria. The location was just about right as being approx half way between the channel tunnel and our final destination. The staff are friendly and efficient, some speaking very good English and others making do, much in line with my German which is slowly improving. The whole place is clean and inviting and the rooms are comfortable. Food is good, priced in keeping with the service and ambience. The breakfast is good continental fare, with the addition of eggs and bacon from a hot servery. We didn't get a chance to explore the town but it also appeared to be clean, with a range of local shops. Highly recommended There is very little parking at site and there did appear to be parking restrictions on the road during the week, although I don't think there are at weekends. We did manage to get into the car port area at the rear of the hotel room for 3 or 4 cars only.
