10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this beautiful restored property. It was beautifully decorated. The owners were very friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owners - very helpful and welcoming; good-sized room and attached bathroom; comfortable bed; tea-making facilities; excellent breakfasts; quiet gardens, surroundings; on-site private parking; excellent wi-fi.
Cons: Our themed-room was beautiful and clean but a little impractical for general travellers; no drawers, wardrobe not suitable for heavy-weight clothes; numerous intricate, delicate items on display (risk of damage, etc.). If we re-visit we would limit our baggage accordingly. Also, hand-held shower is nice but not as easy as standing under a wall-fixed one!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We were positively surprised by the effort the couple had put in decorating the rooms, each with an other theme. Our room was totally in the style of Molière. We received a warm welcome and an enthusiastic explanation of the theme. Unfortunately we had to leave early, but we had gladly stayed a bit longer. Despite the early hour, the hosts had prepared a perfect breakfast, the best we have had that holiday.
Cons: There is nothing we didn't like, or it must be the rain on the morning we left. But we could hardly blame the hosts for that ;-)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming literary decor and ambiance as well as the delicious breakfasts.
Cons: One extra electrical outlet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Like a homestay, Lovely renovated place with many little Details. Very friendly and helpful hosts

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and wonderfully friendly hosts!
Cons: It was perfect :)
7.9 Good
Pros: This B&B is in a tiny village hidden away in the north of Alsace, France. As a result, it is very quiet. The place is three upstairs rooms built into a converted barn. The ground floor is a kitchen (available for guests' use) and breakfast room. The provided breakfast is simple (no hot food except tea or coffee), but includes home made jams, local cheeses, yogurt, plus bread and a chocolate-filled pastry, plus orange juice and tea or coffee. The host family is pleasant (speak French and some German, not too much English).
Cons: Room is awkwardly laid out, not quite rectangular Shower room is a bit musty. Toilet room is dark, but does have a light to turn on. Bed was lumpy, and the headboard isn't solid, so pillows fell through it. Access to the courtyard for parking is through a very narrow driveway, watch out to avoid scratching the finish of your car, or park in the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, great setting, and very friendly host. Would definitely stop there again.
Cons: Nothing, it was all great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was plenty of space in the communal area. The hosts had breakfast with us, which was an enjoyable experience. Our son enjoyed playing with the family dog
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We didn't expect such an amazing B&B, we had a lot of space and both bedrooms and bathroom and toilet were beautifully equipped. We really enjoyed our stay, although short as it was to overnight during our car trip from Italy to Holland. We want to go back and discover the amazing Alsace!
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit, perfect for a family Great place, friendly staff Would recommend it
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The quiet location, the space of the rooms (actually, we had a complete apartment like previous time!) A plus point for us was the refrigerator that we could use for our personal stuff (downstairs in the big common living) and the oven where we could warm up our dinner (fresh lasagne bought in Parma
Cons: The only negative part (for us) is that we have to drive about 20km extra from our route but it's worth the ride and the additional time

7.9 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom facilities excellent!!! Very clean. Our room was facing a quiet garden. The bottle of wine we got as a present was a nice gesture.
Cons: The only disappoinment was the staff at the reception. I needed guidance to find the hotel, as my GPS did not have the name of the street, but was just told to follow the signs. There were none when we entered the village and we had to stop and ask people for directions. When we arrived, we found the attitude of the reception staff extremely cold and unwelcoming. All the "gestures" were there and we would not say that they were not polite (the perfunctory smiles were present), but we had the feeling that they were not happy to have us. Same when we were checking out, despite the bottle of wine.

Pros: Beautiful chateaux with terrific grounds and suited the purpose of visiting the Lalique Museum across the road. The restaurant was excellent!!
Cons: The room was quite small and uncomfortable to navigate with two people and no coffee making appliance. Overly furnished for the size of the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and speedy check-in. Willingness to help and assist well above the call of duty. Excellent and comfortable rooms, which were spanking clean. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Prices a bit steep, but good value for money!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pictures don’t make justice to the place. Great amenities recently renovated with great taste in the smallest details, perfectly clean, good beddings, plenty of space, marvelous breakfast and the warmest host!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, old fashioned, beautifully renovated and full of character and charm, this is the second year we have stayed at La Maison en route from the Alps to the UK. The host is lovely and attentive, he provided a fabulous spread for breakfast even a bit earlier than is normal for a Sunday morning! The evening we stayed, we enjoyed a delicious bottle of local wine (gutted I can’t find it anywhere else), whilst listening to old school vinyl. Wonderful way to end our holidays.
6.7 Good
Pros: nice rooms, spacious. Place has a lot of charme, friendly owner.
Cons: No extra touches to make it worth the price - toiletries, nice tea and coffee, bottled water etc. No hot chocolate for the kids at breakfast when it had been offered, all of which would be ok for cheaper accommodation, but not at this price.

Pros: The location at the lake is superb, as well as the outdoor of hotel/restaurant. Very good breakfast.
Cons: The overall planning of the room with the entresol bedroom is nice however there is no place to sit or a balcony. The swimming pool was closed however we did not ask if they could open it just for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything (well, apart from the bells from the nearby church which start tolling at 6 a.m. and continue every 15 minutes! If you're a light sleeper, this can be a nuisance). The owner is very kind and helpful, one can use kettle and microwave in the common area, the room (an apartment, I'd say) was very big and very comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly. The chambre d'hotes is situated in a nice small town in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying here. I normally stay in a hotel when I come to Le Petite Pierre, but not any longer. It's a large open plan studio with all that you'd need to self cater. A lovely big sofa and table for working or eating (although the wifi wasn't great). The bed was comfortable, just be careful getting in and out! The owners went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed and was happy. They showed great hospitality. Plentiful hot water for a shower, two radiators that could be switched on as required - they kept me warm enough. Beautiful views and peace and quiet.
Cons: Mind the beam above the bed (says the lump on my head). Although the wifi wasn't great I didn't mention it as I didn't really need it (I used 4g). It may have been something easy to resolve, but I didn't ask, so don't be put off by my wifi comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous view, super comfy bed and a great deal! The hosts are super nice. Walkable to the tow. And the castle. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
10.0 Excellent

House had everything you need, is fully equipped, had a nice view over de forest and close to all conveniencies and hiking routes. Loved our stay. Will definitely come back.
Cons: -
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner is extremely kind and greeted us at the gate with a smile and helped with the luggage. He took care of us very well and nothing was a problem. The cabin was very clean, warm and comfortable. Had all the amenities to be able to cook for yourself if you wanted but we also received great recommendations for nice places to eat just a 2minute walk down the road. The breakfast that was provided was delicious and when we mentioned we were going hiking we were provided with snacks to take with us! Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: this is once again an experience.... we had been to the Musee Lalique and we were fizzing from that .... and of course not knowing previously we had actually stayed in a " moment in time " by booking this traditional Alastian home of Nadine. This is a seriously old home. Rene Lalique could of visited this village. Such a lovely host with her effort in English for us New Zealanders but also for her knowledge and passion of the history of her village and the planet in general. Nadine is an angel... so incredibly respectful , worldly ,but not from excessive travel , just well read and aware and just a lovely, lovely host. Go visit Weiterswiller you will not be disappointed with that village and all the areas close by.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nadine, our host was very personable and insightful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nadine is an engaging hostess who offers good advice on what to do and where to go in the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A nice breakfast with a great variety of home made jams.
Cons: A very small village with nothing there. But relatively close to other places. The kitchen facilities are sufficient but don't try to cook a gourmet meal!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Authentic experience of staying in an old alsatian home. Great host, delicious breakfast. The rooms are all in the first and second floors and a shared kitchenette is on the ground floor. There is a balcony in the apartment we stayed in which we really enjoyed.
Cons: We stayed in hot summer days. A fan would have made our stay really comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The small village has absolutely no facilities (bakery or café). House very old and handsome, historical staircase to upstairs room (not advisable for elderly or handicapped people). Beds made up french-style, room heated by wood stove (very nice warmth). Bathroom modern, very good shower. Madame is charming and offers a tasty French breakfast. Free WiFi is offered.
Cons: A personal dislike to beds with layers of sheets and blankets over blankets - i.e. French style - made the nights a little difficult. But two separate matraces and two sets of bedding made it bearable. The steep staircase needed good attention to manage.

Pros: Loved the room size and the fact it was a duplex so separate rooms for adults and kids. Lobby and communal areas very pretty and comfortable.
Cons: Too many chemicals in the hot tub.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Surrounding area and hotel were perfect. Clean rooms very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Excellent amenities.
Cons: Not much to comment here. Parking places ok but could be more.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything. We were also impressed with the female staff who appeared to be doing 5 jobs at the same time! And they were super nice too.
Cons: In our duplex, the air conditioning was broken on the upper floor, which led to a choice of sleeping with mosquitoes or dehydrating to death. It would have been nice of the management to slash our bill somewhat for the inconvenience.
7.1 Good
Pros: It’a a lovely village in a beautiful area
Cons: the hotel (and others as well) missed charm and seemed a bit passed there best days
6.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and views. Very nice restaurant/breakfast room.
Cons: The room and especially the bathroom should be urgently renovated. The hair-dryer looked 30+ years old, with the plastic enclosure completely yellow after so many years, and a light-bulb burning. Also the very old laminated furniture supporting the sink was infiltrated by water and needs urgent renovation. The breakfast is not cheap at 16 Eur/person: for that price I would at least expect a nice self-service coffee machine, not a can of "filter coffee". Also many flies around the serving food area, and landing on the cheese/bread etc... it can't be so expensive to invest in some platter with cover... Several serving plates were also running out and not being refilled already half an hour before the announced closing time. We were also not impressed by the dinner quality, ok but not the taste you would expect from a restaurant. Room doors have a strong closing mechanism but no dumping... meaning making a lot noise if guests are not careful at night/early morning. Pity that the photos shown are all from nicely-renovated rooms (or old photos), none from the bathrooms or the more "economical" rooms. All in all, a quite bad price/quality ratio...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with many hand made products
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable hotel. Helpful staff with private parking available at no cost. Swimming pool was also a bonus. Lots of resultants available in this quiet town.
