The hotel was quite aged. The room the put me in seemed very old. The ac was not working properly and it had a view of the dirt lot next door. When I checked my reservation I realized I'd actually paid for a room with a balcony and this did not have one so I called down to the front desk, they did not seem happy about this call but when someone came back they said they had a room for me. So they put me in a smaller room on the first floor, facing the street, but it did have a working ac and a balcony. Just not what I was expecting for the rate I paid! Everything seemed old, worn down and dingy.
The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in Barbados and there is beach-side food and drink service for guests. We loved hanging out at the swim-up bar in the afternoons and the bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable. The front desk staff was very helpful with coordinating taxis and tours. The hotel itself is a little run down/outdated. The lounge chairs by the pool are mildewed, the paint at the swim-up bar is chipped/peeling, and the tiles throughout are a bit dated. Also my friend Cari used the spa one day for a facial and said it was good/fair, but she had an entire second day of massage, manicure and pedicure that was cancelled on her without notice. She had asked to just re-schedule the massage for another time/day and instead all of the services were cancelled. When she tried to re-book them, she was told there was no one there to do the services. Not sure if the spa techs are just on call or what? The spa seems to be disorganized and poorly run. Also $70 US for 2 people to eat at the buffet seemed high for the quality.

We truly enjoyed the Accra Hotel. The location is great! We were steps away from the boardwalk. There are stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Transportation was 100 steps away. This hotel is very convenient. The housekeeping staff was very efficient. The grounds were well kept. It was truly a good experience. The beach was perfect We didn't care that much for the food and it was a little pricey.
The location was perfect as a over night stay after our cruise.the front desk was on top of things, right down to making sure we had a taxi at 5:00AM to take us to he airport. Nothinh

Friendly staff, and clean comfortable room. Only one working elevator, and diminishing towels. Every day, housekeeping would take my used towels and not replace them. By the third day, I had 2 bath towels and no hand towels. Not a big problem, just a minor inconvenience. I'm sure if I had requested them they would have brought them.
The staff was very accommodating. The location was great, they have one of the best beaches on the island in my opinion. I see this hotel becoming a five star hotel within a year once they complete the renovations. There is a nightclub in a walking distance and also a nightclub district within a short taxi ride. The food was good at the the hotel's restaurant as well. There are other close locations to eat as well. I recommend everyone try the fish, egg and cheese sandwich sold at a nice stand located next to the surfing shop.
My family and I stayed at the Radisson for four nights. It was a memorable experience. Hotel is very clean and the beach beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The Bartender, Jermaine did an excellent job with the drinks and he is great eye candy (lol). Our Waiter at breakfast, Selwyn was happy to share information and directions to difference places on the Island as he kept the coffee flowing. Wonderful experience and I am glad we chose Radisson Aquatica Resort. Retel It was a little too quiet for us in the evenings. Maybe a couple of nights per week they should offer some type of entertainment or have a beach party. Enjoyed the breakfast, but a wider variety of items would be nice.
After a long day of travel, we arrived at the hotel and they didn't even have our reservation. We talked to the front desk woman for about 20 mins and finally she gave us a room. Upon checking out the next morning, the front desk guy wanted to charge us more than we had already been charged for the room on the website. I clearly explained to him that we had already pains but he said he needed to charge us. I called kayak and they talked to him and figured things out. I don't feel like I should have to be calling your website to straighten everything out. You should have sent our reservation over and we shouldn't have had a problem. Luckily my phone worked because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to call. This mistake has basically made me not want to ever use your website for anything ever again.
I was really impressed with the location. The beach was beautiful and at the time we were there we could always find a great spot to hang out. Additionally, it was close to catch a bus which was our favorite mode of transportation (we took the bus most days since it was only a dollar). The staff was great and gave great suggestions on things to do, restaurants, and directions. We had dinner in the hotel one evening and it was pretty good. I wish they had more of a selection at breakfast.
I recently lost my husband, and this trip was my first solo adventure. The staff at the hotel - everyone - went out of their way to make me comfortable. They called me by name from the first day! They were concerned that I was not on a walk back from the Changing of the Guard (I had gone with friends who knew the way back to the hotel). They were very helpful when my flight times were changed, and I tried to work out all the details. I will certainly recommend your hotel to friends, and I hope to visit Barbados again (and your hotel) next year! I have no complaints!!
Great access to beach. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Managers Monday evening happy hour provided a chance to meet other guests. Overall a very enjoyable stay. More choice for meals.
Barbados is one of the best islands in the Caribbean and the location of the Radisson couldn't be on a more beautiful beach! The staff is very kind and helpful. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Upon arrival, there was no room for us. The hotel was overbooked, First time experience this, Waited until they sent us off to the Marriott Hotel which was awful. Another 2 hours waited in Marriott lobby with my 12 year old until I was checked in. That's 6.30 p.m. They put us in room where the sheets stinks and cooler above us vibrate the room whole night. I asked to be changed, Marriott said they don't have any more rooms available. Sleepless night for me & my son. The next day, went back Radisson Aquatica, had to wait until after 3.p.m. to be checked in. The staff was really nice, but nice doesn't work when they overbooked their hotel and got us so stressed out, didn't even consider this a vacation. Also my son got stuck in one of the elevators, it was really scary, they had to pull him out between the floors. Radisson promised the reimbursed 1 night stay, please contact them for my refund.

We had three nights at the resort after 10 days on a catamaran in the Grenadines and it was great. Wonderful views, pools, and beach. Good food options. Will stay again!
Staff were wonderful from people working in hotel to people on beach. Hotel was immaculate, clean, and gorgeous! Great example of what a resort should be. Food was delicious. No complaints there. Wish it was all inclusive. AC in room didn't come out as high as we wanted. Seaweed on beach. All of Barbados was dealing with this issue. However The Crane had staff cleaning the beach/seaweed daily.
The hotel is beachfront, nicely laid out, comfy, clean. It does not protect the guests from taxi overcharging - the only country I've been to (and I've been to many) where taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport!! Taxi overall is expensive, and there are no cheaper alternatives for families. Ocean waves were all the time too choppy to swim. Hotel could use renovation.
Very relaxing, every night they have some events to entertain. Staff are all lovely and kind but not too disturbing. Also it is very clear it cares about environment which is the best thing I see in such a resort island. Bed cover (top duvet and pillow) are not washed ages and smell bad. Hope they can clean it more often.
Pleasant staff, quick and efficient service, nice beach. The restuarant had very ordinary offerings re food...water's edge is deff not as advertised...food very ordinary and appears to be made in advance but the staff very pleasant and good service.

They have two resturatants. The Waters Edge is the best restaurant on the island. There other restaurant is possible the worst. You have to request a room that you like. they will try to put you in room that has no view. so just simply request better room and they will review vacancies and put you in wonderful room.This is not a complaint but just heads up.
One receptionist, Katrina, was quite above average. Fast and friendly. For a three hours longer stay in the room on the day of departure I had to pay 75 US dollars. The hotel was not fully booked though!!!

We just returned from a trip to Barbados and thoroughly enjoyed the Bougainvillea Beach Resort. This was our second year visiting the resort and we found the room, service and staff to be excellent. The resort is ideally located near St. Lawrence Gap and has beautiful grounds and views of the ocean.
My wife and I stayed here for a few days. We were aware of the construction but that really did not affect us. Upon check in the room was not ready so we had to wait with all our stuff by the pool for an hour. They gave us a bottle of champange and coffee mug as a gift for the wait.The hotel is directly across from the hottest club in Barbados and they have an open patio and you can hear the music and people until 3am when they shut down. The room is not sealed off with large gaps under the door and slotted bathroom windows all the noise come right inside. On the 2nd night we heard a loud popping noise in the middle of the night, when it was light out we noticed the tile floor had buckled -maybe 15 tiles so they had to move us to another room. re-pack everything-move and unpack. The next night the A/C stopped working but no more rooms to move us so they had to move us to another hotel. Re-pack, move, unpack again. The staff was very nice just too bad we had so many problems. Would I stay there again? - No, way too noisy, no beach and just so so room. Oh, also we hated the shower, the curtain rod on both rooms was no positioned well (too far in) so between the shower curtain and the wall was about 24' so we had to shower sideways to avoid touching the curtain all the time. Also the heads were not movable so it was a real chore to shower.
This was my third stay at the South Gap Hotel. If you want to be in the midst of the action, this is your kind of place. It's quiet during the day but very noisy and smoky at night - the price you pay for being directly across from the most lively clubs (and grills) in St. Lawrence Gap. The view from the rooms is the ocean. The (studio) rooms vary in size, tend to be small, but neat, with free wifi access. My favorite is the 1 bedroom, with a separate sitting room. The bar, restaurant, patio and pool are open and face the water.
The hotel was very well located, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The only problem is the noise from the karaoke across the street.
I thought that because of the price I was going to be dissapointed, however, I was pleasantly suprised. This hotel is in the perfect location on the gap and all the action. I thought that I would be affected by the music from the surrounding nightclubs, however, once again I enjoyed every minute of my time there and looked foward to hearing the music and seeing all the activity at night. The view of the ocean from my room was a plus and the staff should be commended for their hospitality and efforts in keeping up the maintenance of the facilities.
I traveled alone and at all times during my stay I felt safe and secure. Check in was a breeze!! The receptionist was professional and courteous. She escorted me to my room and showed me everything I needed to know and then some. The other ladies were equally as knowledgeable and professional as well as the other support staff. I researched the hotel carefully before I booked and the reviews were about 50/50 but I still gave it a go. I am extremely happy that I did. I stayed on the ground floor a little way from reception. I saw reviews about the noise from the nightclubs next door and was a little scared but I barely heard anything and if I did it was more like a whisper. The room had the toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board etc plus tea/coffee sugar. Housekeeping was effective and efficient the room was always clean and linens changed and tidied. Bar staff was warm and friendly. The surroundings were always clean. The view from my room was breath taking!! All rooms have an ocean view...ALL!! I sat in the balcony and just relaxed, watching the waves and inhaling the sweet, crisp sea breeze! The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the beach - Dover Beach but you can use the small beach at the hotel next door at no cost. The wifi is lightening fast. There are restaurants all around if you chose not to eat at the hotel. Transportation options are a short walk away or you can have the ladies call you a taxi. The hotel is right in the thick of action but you never once feel the hustle and bustle of the action outside, it is like entering paradise. I have stayed at many hotels and this was the first time that I felt so comfortable like I was at home. My only issue was a minor one...it said 'queen bed' but it was actually two junior beds pushed together but I was too tired roaming the country to be bothered, my only concern was to choose between AC or fan to sleep with! lol There is an ATM to the front of the hotel and a mobile police booth which is manned also to ...
Location was nice for walking to restaurants Would like to have had a coffee maker instead of instant coffee in room. Breakfast menu needs to be improved. Daily buffet would be so nice. the restaurant location is beautiful but underused because of its menu.
The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is actually a great value as well, since food in Barbados is generally very expensive. We stayed at Infinity twice, first when we arrived into Barbados, and for our last night. We decided to return to Infinity because after traveling around the entire island, no other hotel offered the same value for the money. For the same price elsewhere, we were staying in shabby rooms located in far to reach places without a car. In comparison, the Infinity is a breath of fresh air. It simply has everything you want/need on your vacation minus the stress or cost. If we ever return to Barbados, my boyfriend and I would use the Infinity as our base for our entire trip. The pool isn't all that, but we didn't even think to use it with the beach just steps from the hotel. It would have been nice if we didn't have to pay for an umbrella on the beach. That really should come with the chairs. Nothing other than that.
I liked how the staff is 100% dedicated to helping you have the greatest vacation. They even got me a rental car at the last minute! Very friendly. The view is absolutely spectactlar. The Wifi leaves something to be desired. It was only availible outside my room (I had to go to my porch) or go down to the pool.
We visited this past week.Hotel was at 50% capacity.The service was great.Room was a suite ,pool side .No troubl se getting reservations at sister hotel ,Almond bay village. Best ever Italian food and attentive service.Enids restaurant prepares island food,the best soups we ever tasted. The 100 yard beach is the only downside,full of rocks and coral.Walk 500 yards to a lovely beach on clear,calm water. Wait staff put on a fashion show in bathing suits,they were great.All adults only guests mostly from UK and Canada.Very friendly.Book a private island tour on your own $105.00 US for 3 hours.
We stayed at the all inclusive for our honeymoon and could have been any happier. The hotel's food, amenities and location were all great to the point that we look forward to staying there again. You can pay more but that does not mean that you will get more. Also, the staff and the facility managed well. As travelers we are always looking for places that allow us unwind and be tourist and we do not quibble over small things.
My husband and I stayed at this resort recently and loved the staff and especially how they did the registration when we arrived. They gave us a drink and basically took us to our room...we have never experienced that before. The room we were in, wow. It was a suite and the living room had only three walls so one of the walls was open but the bedroom was air conditioned. This was the most romantic room we have ever stayed in. At night, we would sit and relax with a drink in our room but it was like we were sitting outside, with complete privacy. The Spa was amazing. We luv to work out and they had great equipment and a gym set up that not a lot of people were using. I did get a massage as well which was very relaxing. We also did the turtle swim which I highly recommend. Everything was included so this worked really well for us. We can't wait to go back and try one of the other Almond Hotels!
My friend and I booked this trip for a relaxing, uneventful, quiet vacation after some rough times at work and in life. We picked it because it's all inclusive and adult only. Needless to say, we had a fabulous time! From sleeping oceanside in the middle of the day then waking up for afternoon tea, to taking the Rum and Island tour, boat rides and snorkeling trips for relatively little or no money since all water sports were included in the price of the room. The hotel staff was fanastic by making sure to give us good tips on things to do around the island and always engaged in meaningful, genuine conversation. Our room was way more than we expected since it had a living room and a separate bedroom and a whirlpool tub with a shower. We definitely want to go again to experience some of the island's festivals in the future but it will not be soon enough.

The view, food and friendliness of staff Bed comfortable but quality of the room poor. Furniture tired. We were able to open patio doors but there was no proper balcony which we had paid for. The bathroom needed a complete refurbishment. The best part was the location with wonderful sea views.
Just returned from a wonderful week at the Almond Beach Club. The accomodations were great, the ocean was a stone throw from our balcony, and the bar was just around the corner from the room. The margarittas were fantastic. We love the water and the snorkling was excellent with a reef and two ship wrecks within an easy swim from the Club. The service was fair, but some of the workers took the time to learn our names and shared our experiences on a daily basis. The kitchen staff went out of there way to provide us with picnic lunches for our excursions. Meet alot of interesting people and made a lot of new friends. We were meet at the airport by an employee of the tour guide service. She had arranged transportation to the Almond and later meet with us to book our outings for the week. Everyone was on time and the trips were a lot of fun. I did feel like we were stiffed a couple of times by the locals. On one trip we stopped for lunch at a local roadside dinner and the prices were not clearly posted. The cost was to much for what we ate. There were no bargans when shopping for items to bring home. The locals were very kind and helpful when traveling around the island. We never felt anxious or uneasy when shopping. It was a wonderful week and I will return.
The front desk/office staff friendly & polite, however the staff workers - the woman to be specific, were just the opposite. My husband and I travel quite a bit, and I've never met more impolite, hostile, rude staff workers. The standard room was very small to the point of uncomfortable but clean. The beachfront is unaccessible to guest to use for swimming, must walk down some ways for beach access. The restaurant food was average sort of bland, surely nothing to rave about. We were unable to secure reservations at the 2 other restaurants on location and at the sister hotel Almond Beach Village for dinner. The one restaurant ALWAYS available is mostly buffet style meals. Not at all what I expected. Beware the All-Inclusive has many exceptions and they push activities and tours on the guest which are pricey.
The sunny island, supper staff, best food and supper service, enjoy !!!
