The Hotel Adler is the cutest hotel in the quaintest town. It was beautiful town and the hotel fit in perfectly. We would definately stay there again. The comfort of the room was appropriate for Europe. Be prepared for a pretty small bathroom, but we learned that was typical of European hotels also.
Good food and kind service
It's traditional style and atmosphere no
Excellent little hotel. Very helpful staff.
Excellent visit; great room and great food! I'd come back and I'd recommend to others as a very good place to stay. The construction was inconvenient.
Very pleasant stay, nice restaurant, easy parking in underground garage.
travelling trough over stay
The hotel staff was very helpful; easy connection to/from the Wurzburg center even in late hours; comfortable beds; tasty breakfast; safe free parking
Very kind and competent staff Bathroom arrangement (WC) in room 124
Excellent staff; very good restaurant; everything was easy and pleasant. Room was a bit small, and would like coffee/tea facilities.
Cozy atmosphere in the restaurant; free parking very small bathroom ( in particular the shower)
Very good old hotel built in 1648 in the historical center of the city, with perfect coffe-bakery on the corner. Key box for late guests on the enter is very useful.
Just a gem in every way! Not a thing.
Location, Atmosphere, friendly welcome No english channel on TV
Traditional hotel with good service.
Lovely location within a gorgeous town. Paid extra for a garage which was good and secure. Staff very courteous and helpful. All round nice place to stay.
The room was very large and comfortable and was quite elegant. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The receptionist, Elizabeth, was kind and understanding when we reported we had a slight accident which caused a red wine stain on the duvet! The hotel manager was very helpful when we had a problem with dialing out from the room's telephone. The buffet breakfast was great with good service and included eggs cooked to your liking.
we had a very large and clean family room, we loved everything about the hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous, breakfast was pleasant and relaxed and the hotel's restaurant was excellent. There's a lovely courtyard for sitting out and the town's shops are all within easy walking distance. Our room on the top floor was quite warm (flat roof, window shutters were down, we could open the windows but still) after a warm summer's day. There was no airco or fan.
This is just a wonderful family run hotel. Warm welcome. Attention to detail is more than obvious. The hotel and rooms are meticulous in all aspects. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and it is nothing less than a 1 star michelin in our opinion Fantastic. Also to be enjoyed is the wine shop in the hotel, which is owned by the owner's brother. We bought a bottle upon arrival and also enjoyed a really nice First Spring with our delicious meal. The bottom line: Quality/Price is fantastic.
Very good value for money, nice staff, gourmet restaurant across the street I think that everything was pretty good, maybe only in the restaurant - they could have an English menu, too... and smile is nothing forbidden... nevertheless the meals were excellent!
Nice clean big room, excellent view from the terrace Not the best variety of food for breakfast. Although on the booking page was said that the total room price was 89 euros, in the end we were charged 5 euros per person for breakfast. This should have been stated more clearly in the booking process.
The staff and particularly the management were extremely helpful and friendly. Any request was dealt with immediately and efficiently. - Breakfast: all eggs etc were prepared fresh on demand.
The service of the staff was simply outstanding, very accomodating. The breakfast offerings had been excellent too.
It was difficult to check in at midnight
Pretty well everything. The welcome was personal and helpful; the food was excellent, the room well appointed and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing
we enjoyed the whole experience, the dinner in the hotel restaurant, the swim in the pool, the walk around the city which was so close to the hotel, the service of all the personel was excellent
Free Broadband in room
Excellent hotel with helpful staff no
The room is large and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The owner/staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Nice hotel for a good price. Food is good and not expensive, as is the internet. I already visited this hotel for the 4th time.
you can't call it fitness room for just a cyclette and a tapis-roulant!
friendly staff, good breakfest, clean room
Good service and good value for money
Nice hotel, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is good (buffet, available till 10:00). Swimmingpool complementary but sauna extra charge. Small village and some restaurants nearby (also in hotel).
Nice small, quiet town, but felt deceived that it was not in Bad Mergentheim as advertized. Instead was 15 minutes away... thought it was in the bigger town advertized. Should only say the name of the exact town.
Nice place to be When I booked it was written internet was free of charge , if you want to have internet they charge you 7 euro.....Not fair....
Quiet relaxing hotel
It was our second night in Germany and it was lovely to view the countryside from our room. The sounds from the church bells was also something we don't hear in Australia. We were doing business with in Weikersheim, but it was lovely to stay in the smaller Markelsheim where we witnessed the gathering of wine grapes from the nearby slopes. We enjoyed sampling the local wine and cuisine in your restaurant also. Your hotel was one of the easiest in Europe for parking and lift access to the room. It was all positive! : )
Our stay at your Hotel was great. We wished we could have stayed longer.
good directions, ease of booking in and checking out, the consideration of staff in providing a room on the ground floor for my parents who have mobility issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand that the hotel is in the grounds of the first house in bad mergentheim, however i could not find information at the hotel regarding this. the website did not clarify what the junior suite consisted of.
Best meals on our whole journey of two weeks. Location near Frankfurt airport (1 1/2 hr) with 12:00 check in time after long night flight. The room was very nice so were the staff, and the real surprise was the meals in the hotel restaurant - absolutely superior meals
Very well run family hotel. Large clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Very modern and the surrounding area includes a huge wonderful wellness park with trees, gardens and fountains plus 3 spa pools in Kurpark. It was a fabulous find. Stay was very good but for a family run hotel they were unusually unfriendly and not very helpful.
Very helpful staff. Good dining. Good sleep. I am surprised that some of the staff speak english so poorly, not beeing able to give directions for walking.
I stayed 4 days in this family run hotel; it was excellent. I really felt a guest. Very attentive and friendly personnell, very good service, excellent breakfast, quiet location on walking distance (about 8 minutes) from the center, free parking, free use of a bike.A nice terrace at the Tauber (only it rained all the time). If I wanted to go to the sauna, I had to tell in advance. I had the sauna all for myself for hours; Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, relax chairs. Very good quality for the price. Only the noise of the neighbour (the sound of the television till after midnight and the open window. When I complained about it the next day, it was quiet after 11 pm.
Spacious and very clean room. Free wi-fi. Free parking. Decent restaurant.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of the old town centre (5 minute walk). A Greek restaurant is downstairs, and can be highly recommended.
This is a nice hotel recently renovated. The rooms are large and very clean and ours also had a wide balcony which was a very nice idea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is above a Greek restaurant where you can have nice Greek food and it is cyclist friendly (also it is on the cycling path of Romantic Strasse when leaving- or entering- Bad Mergentheim).
Clean, private parking, good breakfast (not buffet but good amount of food), silent room with fridge and small LCD, easy to find. Good value for price!
The greek food was great and the personnel of the hotel was very kind.
kindness of the people, and the location of the hotel na.
Very quiet hotel, for people who like the country side. Restaurant is ok and breakfast is good. Price paid for the room is a little expensive considering the area.
Very clean and tidy. Good food, and staff courteous
Welcome at arrival, attentive service from staff, good food and wine, clean room and bathroom, very good German breakfast and very pleasant location.
The parking and the silence
Staff were friendly enough, simple but good evening meal and the breakfast was very good. Wine list was poor.
A nice hotel with an excellent breakfast. Room was nice, parking was available, and restaurant was very good.
The owner lived at the hotel and was a very gracious host. The view of Tauberbischofsheim was remarkable and we loved hearing the church bells.
The hotel was very clean. The decor was pleasant. The value was outstanding and it was very quiet and easy to relax at. The rooms were a decent size and there was plenty of closet space . The bathrooms were clean with the basic ammeneties. The restaurant was also great and they have a nice rooftop beer garden with a great view. I felt that the staff was very cold. They acted like we were bugging them everytime we asked them to call a taxi for us. We only spoke English so it was hard for us to call a taxi ourselves. At their defense, we were there when many young people were staying at the hotel for a heavy metal festival so they might have been overwhelmed. Still I think a friendly smile and polite manner go a long way.
Internet conection is not free of charge.
Very quiet rural setting with the only sounds being that of the birds and the cattle The restaurant was not open requiring a drive into town. After 300 miles drive that was the last thing we wanted to do.
Excellent location, breakfast and the hotel staff remmebered the last time I stayed at the hotel.
The restaurant part of the hotel was closed for holidays when we arrived. There was no personnel to welcome us, just a key on a piece of paper with or name on it. The room was small, the beds were too short. The first time I saw someone from the hotel was at breakfast, no one asked if we were satisfied with our stay. The breakfast was very average, but okay. The hotel is situated outside the town, about a 30 minute walk to the center of Marktheidenfeld. No one was there to welcome us..strange.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel out in the country of Germany. It was quiet and peaceful with a great country restaurant right next door. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
We have chosen this hotel just for one night as it was very convenient for our shopping in the nearby outlet village. But the wonderful meal at it's restaurant (and the beer!) made us return to the place on our way back home after a week's time. Alas, the hotel was full that evening but the owner found us another place to stay in no time at all. Of course, we had a meal with a few beers there.
Friendly owners, safe parking, excellent food maybe a bit too 'rustic'
domestic atmosphere access from the restaurant to the rooms thorugh the courtyard
We are regular guests and feel at home. We stayed monday/tuesday; the restaurant was closed. A pitty, because the food and drinks are very good.
Room and hotel was 'tired' but beautiful quiet setting. The 'Suckling Pig' on Fri/sat/sun is not to be missed. Triple room was very small and 3rd bed was a camp bed
Very large room. Excellent breakfast with large varied choice. Wines with dinner good quality with vineyard next door. Five flights of stairs to our room without the use of a lift was hard work. Also to carry luggage from car park up hill did not help.
The location and the friendliness of the staff
The hotel was very clean, had nice furnishings, and small details like candles and flowers that were lovely. It's located on top of a hill in wine country, and the view is very nice.
Space in rooms Rear view
The room was fresh and clean and very inviting. It is situated beside a busy intersection. Rather noisy with traffic
This was our first night stop in Germany. Outside Wurzberg, the hotel is in the country and very clean and quiet. The Food was excellent. We didnt get in until 9pm and they fixed us a full dinner. The room was huge by normal standards. The staff was very helpful.
Beer in a bar
Great place for a short stop, friendly and clean with ample facilities to make you feel very welcome.
Excellent location in a rural setting but close to the A3 made it an ideal overnight venue.
There was mentioned at booking.com that there is free /Wi-Fi internet at he hotel. In the reality - not and it was a real probelm.
Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Great breakfast!
Rooms were clean and looked like recently renovated. one of best breakfasts we had during our trip Parking was in remote location.
staff, and town people very nive
Staff was very nice, breakfast super, very nice inner garden The hotel was nice, but I find the price a bit too hight. No elevator
Character of main building On arrival Thursday pm informed that hotel restaurant closed as owner otherwise occupied .Accomodation in annexe 150metres away. Next night restaurant would not charge meal to hotel bill, unfriendly attitude of waitress
Old chap who let us in spoke no english, but was really pleasant...if that makes sense! the hotel was shut down on thursdays, took a long time to raise someone, no food available(restaurant closed), and the rooms were 100ms away across the village square.
Warm, plain en suite room with good basic facilities, Excellent car parking, very easy to find in the dark with a hire car. staff very friendly despite language communications difficulty - we do not speak German The setting is a rural village and the local church bells tolled at 6 am on the Sunday, also the accommodation is a short walk and across a main road from the restaurant and reception
Werbach is a very nice village and it is only 15 min by car away from Lauda-Konigshofen, the place we were visiting. The room was very beautiful and spacious and the reception/breakfast area was very nice and traditional. The staff did not speak english at all, but they did their best to help us! :) No complaints, but it was a bit of a problem...
