Pros: Rooms were well appointed and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Pool was closed
Pros: Great on all counts that matter to us: staff, design, amenities, location, and value. Works for business or leisure. Our 12 year old son and I decided to stay in White Plains on a lark (after an educational and fun trip to Sleepy Hollow), and very happy we did. Would recommend to anyone who needs "a clean, well-lighted place" to sleep.

Pros: The hotel is very modern and the staff members are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They have a great swimming pool, exercise gym and only a few minutes drive away from central Greenwich. The restaurant served amazing dishes and drinks.
Cons: We initially got a room with a view...of a parking lot. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to switch rooms to the second floor which was better and more private. It made no sense that the balcony was not accessible, which I think the hotel should change.
Pros: It was very updated- tech savvy. The staff went out of their way. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and they put our food orders in immediately and brought dinner to our rooms (10:30 at night). A great experience.
Cons: Not at all.
Pros: Small, comfortable with a nice restaurant/bar. Friendly staff. Other nearby alternative (Hyatt Regency) is a 'big' hotel. This was our third time here and we like it.
Cons: Only negative: a little TOO modern. Toilet opens when you step in the shower. No hooks in bathroom (maybe one). Wife had to turn waste can upside down in shower to shave legs.
Pros: The staff was outstanding. I received a warm welcome when I arrived and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay. The room had amazing features with the latest and greatest technology as well.
Pros: New, modern look. Privacy on the deck area. Bed was great.
Pros: The cool vibe, high tech reputation (if not execution), great food in restaurant and bar
Cons: My phone did not work in my ground floor room, and since they said the hotel was full they would not change it.
Pros: proximity to Greenwich
Cons: My room was not ready in late afternoon when I arrived to check in. I had to wait in the lobby. The 'continental breakfast' is not more than coffee, dry cereal, and a dry roll. I was very disappointed.
Pros: the staff were very helpful and gave more than was asked for, they went above and beyond. The location was perfect for me, easy on/off 95 and I had to travel north in the morning (against traffic) and south in the evening (also against traffic)
Cons: a little instruction on where to find things would be great, such as the buttons needed to work the lights and shades
Pros: The toilet was AMAZING! I also enjoyed the staff, very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The bar was also a nice touch. The free shuttle was also a plus, I will be staying their again in the near future.
Cons: I loved everything!
Pros: I received a patio room, which is much nicer (and quieter) than the 'motel' courtyard room, which should be avoided at all costs. This was the first room I recieved with a bath and a separate shower.
Cons: This was my 3rd trip to this property. On each visit, one of the evenings I ate at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the meals has not been as expected, nor commensurate with the price. Minor nit, housekeeping did not replace toiletries during my stay.
Pros: I loved the high-technics of the hotel. Very modern. Beautiful art through the hotel.
Cons: The food and bar was a bit pricey.
Enjoy your visit to Riverside with a stay at J House Greenwich. You can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, or aromatherapy, and American cuisine is served at J House Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An outdoor pool and a poolside bar are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPads, iPod docks, and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: The room's bathroom facilities. All staff interactions were great.
Cons: Parking was $30 for the night.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The spa and pool were top quality, although it was hard to get an appointment when we checked in. this was a last minute, get-a-way trip for us, so we did not make spa reservations before hand and there were practically no services available. The hotel staff was extremely attentive. First class service all the way, from the pool attendants to the maids, to the doorman. We felt like a million dollars.
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, updated and huge. The bathroom was wonderful aswell. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Cons: The front desk staff seemed to be a bit incompident with hotel details such as hours of the spa and restaurant and how the computer system worked. It seemed like there were a lot of 'new' people on staff.
Set in the heart of White Plains, New York, just 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan and Greenwich, CT, our luxury hotel takes cues from nature, incorporating seasonal elements into everything from spa treatments to the menus at our award-winning restaurant, including BLT Steak. Those who enjoy the outdoors will find opportunities for golfing, hiking and biking nearby, while unique experiences, including swimming under the stars at our rooftop pool.
Pros: We stayed for only one evening but we were quite pleased. The hotel is lovely and located on the harbor with gorgeous views. It is also conveniently close to the train station which we took to and from Manhattan. The shops of Greenwich are also within walking distance and this provides a nice option. The shops are upscale and unique. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. Champagne is provided upon arrival and there was a continental breakfast provided. The staff was kind and not intrusive. Awesome place! You won't be disappointed.
Cons: No pool and nothing for kids to do.

Pros: Our room was spacious and very clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were comfortable.
Coffee was good, I usually dislike hotel coffee but Hyatt had some good coffee.
Cons: Breakfast buffet could have been a little more exciting. Limited choices and pretty bland.
Cons: Cumout leaked from midnight , never had this kind issue in any other place
Pros: The kitchen is nearly fully stocked
Cons: This was the best stay I've ever had with my dogs.
Pros: Great staff very polite , helpful and friendly
Cons: Bathroom had no pressure

Pros: Couldn't have been better. Will consider staying at 'comfort next time and if we go to Hawthorne we'd definitely stay at Comfort.
Cons: There is nothing that was even remotely not to our liking. We felt as though we were royalty. Thanks
Behind every great day is a great night at the Comfort Inn and Suites hotel in Hawthorne, NY, near New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center. Be sure to take advantage of our complimentary services and amenities like WiFi, daily hot breakfast, weekday newspaper, fitness center and indoor pool. Plus, all guestrooms are furnished with hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, microwaves, refrigerators and TVs. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program.
Pros: The bed, bedding and the room all comfortable.
Check out was easy and fast. I love the fact that you can check out of the room through the television system and drop your key in the box on the way out.
Cons: The entire lobby was like ice the entire time.
Wait staff in the bar/atrium were flat, limited engagement and robot-like.
Pretzels and salad were quite costly at the bar/atrium.
Tables in the lobby were uneven and not always wiped down.
Pros: Above average facilities.
Cons: This hotel is steps from Stamford which is a less than ideal location. The parking spaces are very small.
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable, though somewhat dated.
Cons: I did not like having to pay $12 to park in a lot behind the hotel. I'm accustomed to paying for parking in a city environment where parking is at a premium, but this is a suburban environment. Charging for parking seems ridiculous.
Also, there is only one elevator bank and our room was at the opposite end of the hotel, causing for a very long walk and we happened to have a lot of stuff with us. They desperately need a second elevator bank.
Pros: Beautiful Atrium. friendly staff.
Noisy. High parking rates. Unappealing pool-not that clean Overpriced food.
Pros: Comfortable beds, well-located if you have a car. Beautiful indoor garden.
Cons: Very noisy - you can hear everything in surrounding rooms. Unfriendly and unaccommodating front desk staff. What seems like an oppressed cleaning staff. High parking rates just to park at the hotel. Extra charge for high speed internet. Unappealing pool and gym. Overpriced food. No flexibility for later check-out.
Cons: Pool was overrun with 15 kids at a birthday party
Pros: Atrium is a nice look and close to highway
Cons: I can understand a valet parking fee, although excessive at $25, but a $12 park yourself fee at a hotel not in a downtown area with a huge parking lot is not nice.
Cons: self parking i s $12 per night. what a rip-off the hotel does nothing for it. there is no security in the parking lot.
Pros: Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and positive. Your shuttle drivers couldn't have been nicer.
We were in Greenwich for a funeral, without a car. Your Shuttle service was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt.
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful.
Cons: Cost for water and self parking. Rooms not as pictured online.
Cons: Walls are paper thin and guests like to scream in the hallways and all common areas
Pros: The rooms excellent
Cons: I liked everything

Contemporary new guestrooms include flat screen TV, iHome alarm clock, iron/ironing board, safe, fridge, deluxe bath amenities
Cons: The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.
Cons: Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Proximity to the mall and restaurants is nice.
Cons: I'd prefer free parking, but who wouldn't?
Pros: The staff were especially friendly and helpful

Pros: I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns during the past 30 years of business and leisure travel and this one was a great pleasurable stay. It started with check-in when Midinah at the desk greeted with such cheerfulness that I thought it was 9:30 AM instead of 9:30 PM. After a tough day of travel, it was nice to get a warm welcome after walking into the lobby. And it was as if she was expecting me when I walked in through the entrance. I was amazed that she could tell that I was going to be a new guest, since I didn't bring any luggage with me during check in.
The Health Club was impeccably clean and spacious, which is appreciated. In most other chains, an exercise room is just a closet with with a mirror and some free weights. I like that there is room to move around and to be out other guests' way. Having the five exercise machines was a great sign to guests that this Residence Inn takes the guests need to exercise seriously.
The breakfast buffet was well managed and well stocked with cooked staples like eggs, fried pepper and onions and canadian bacon.
The adjoining restaurant, Aberdeen, was a hidden gem. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum all day long. On Yelp.com someone said "I've always heard that if you see Asians eat at an Asian restaurant that the place has got to be good". And it was true when I ate there.
Cons: The parking is $10 per night and it is a tight squeeze to get around the garage and to park.

Cons: 227 is a sad, little room. A queen room at the Hampton Inn. It is unloved and uncared for. If the room were located in Paris, France or a berth on a cruise ship it could be considered spacious but by typical standards it can only be described as tiny. There is no chest of drawers. Guests must leave their clothes in their suit cases or stuff the two night stand drawers. The bath room contains the typical notice indicating that for ecological conservation linens left on the towel racks will not be laundered. Sadly, the bathroom is so cramped there is no room for a towel rack. Clean linens are stacked from counter to the ceiling on shelves. Used linens can only land on the floor.
There is abundance in other areas. Two arc lights outside the window of room 227 bath the seven storied building in light. The lights also perpetually bath the room in light. At night, the blackout curtains glow at the edges framing the window as if morning is always eminent.
The door to room 227 is located about 12 inches from the door leading to the pool and parking. There are 5 parking levels at the Hampton and the easiest access to most rooms in the hotel is through this second story access. SCREEEEEEEECH-BANG goes the second story entrance door hundreds, possibly, thousands of times throughout the night and day.
Management and staff dislike room 227 as much as the guests. Neglect and frustration is clearly present. Controlling the water temperature in the tub is frustrating. Turn the control knob too far and the water is icy cold. Turn the knob too little and the water is icy cold. Like a modern day Goldilocks, guests need to turn the knob on the tub ‘just right’ to get the water temperature close to what a human could sustain. The tub spigot and the shower head are not affixed to the wall. Diverting the water to the shower head is troublesome as the spigot moves around as the guest attempts to send the water to the shower head.
Do not think that your HHonors will help you here. Staff has learned, or possibly well trained, to contain prepaid guests to room 227. Ask for relocation and offending guests are given static and treated as trouble makers.
Room 227 does have a redeeming quality. Having been a guest of room 227, I affirm to live a better life and treat my fellow passengers on earth better and more kindly. My earnest hope is that after I pass from this planet that I do not end up back in room 227.
Cons: No dresser in the room.
Cons: The restroom was uncleaned and the room was very small
Pros: Staff was friendly. For the area this is the best priced hotel. It was clean and quiet which great. Quiet in the sense that even though there was a lot of people staying there I never heard anything throughout the night. The free breakfast and shuttle were also great. I travel to the area quite a bit and I think this is the hotel I will stay at every time.
Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast selection and outdoor pool :)
Cons: Didn't like that only 1 elevator was working at the time of my stay.
Pros: quick check in, breakfast, clean room and bathroom
Cons: Line for breakfast was way to long, dining area wasn't up kept very well, neither were the elevators.
Pros: I felt safe
Cons: lots of noise from the highway. Only one elevator was working. Room wasn't ready when we got there

Our hotel features over 1,300 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space to accommodate events of all sizes.
Pros: The hotel is very convenient to where I work. I did like the buffet breakfast. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable.
Cons: 1. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor.
2. I didn't like that I couldn't turn on a light in the room from the entry way. Only the hall light. Had to go into a dark room to find a lamp by the bed.
Pros: There wasn't much to like
Cons: At first when I walked in the room smelt like old dirty gym socks
After an overcooked steak and some rather small portions on the dinner menu, the staff in the dining room including the manager were on their phones instead of paying attention to the floor. I went upstairs to sleep where I had a bad reaction to either the towel in the shower or the detergent on the sheets and was rushed to the hospital with an allergic reaction covering most of my neck, chest and shoulders, loss of breath as well. I'm greatful for my wife calling 911
To say the least I wont be back

Pros: Mr. C??? (first name) in the dining room supplied us muffins & coffee after the 10:30 am breakfast close and took us to outside the bar area. Was very kind and accommodating.
Cons: Room 447 - had weak water pressure in the sink & shower, after returning to the room at 7:30 pm on June 7th it had not been made up and was told staff left at 5:30 pm and were not available. Room was very cold because the air conditioner was running and didn't have the ability to have heat - had to use whatever the entire hotel was using. Slept in coat to keep warm. Fees for last night stay were waived by Mr. Yasir - Assistant Manager of Front Desk (night shift). Photo of his business card and details available if required.
Room 224 - Also cold 2 nights although 1 night (June 6th) they did turn the heat on which I happened to find out in the middle of the night when I turned the system on. Tried to call the front desk several times and no one answered the phone.
Pros: Check in was easy
Cons: They charge $8.95 for a day pass for wifi. Not classy. Not going there again.
Pros: Great hotel.
Pros: We were having an affair at the hotel and our team headed by Rosaria Costa could not have been nicer more efficient. We had also had our daughter's wedding here a few years ago. I would highly recommend Ms.
Cons: Rooms were not ready when they were supposed to be ready to check in. even though we told the front desk we were having an affair at 6:00. The 4:00 check in time was not honored.
Pros: Location was ideal for our travel. Only 75 minutes from home.
Cons: Conceige was ill informed. Couldn't give us any information on the area or other golf courses in the area. Hotel should have a small store to be able to purchase toiletries, ice cream, soda, water, etc. also housekeeping didn't provide shampoo or wash cloths.
Pros: Proximity to SUNY Purchase. Comfy beds.
Cons: Room smelled musty, like a basement. No free wifi.
Cons: Couldn't get into our room multiple times, even with new keys, due to the keys not working (they said the door battery was low)
Locker room locker also wouldnt let me get my stuff out, they also said it was a battery issue...
Pros: The convenience of the restaurants
Cons: Many kids constantly running every where day and Nite....very noisy
Pros: love the pool and workout area
Cons: a lot of walking to parking lot, but not that it was bad weather so it didn't really bother us.
Doral Arrowwood rates include: Best Rate Guaranteed when you book direct! Complimentary State-of -the Art Fitness Center Heated Indoor/ Outdoor Pool 3 Onsite Restaurants Golf, Tennis, Squash and Racquetball on site 9 Hole Golf Course and Driving Range
Cons: The room AC was not working. We had our children with us and it smelled like marijuana in the hallway and in our room. We found bugs on the bed. We had taken a 10 he road trip and wee exhausted our children were sleeping and we took them into the room. If we had arrived before midnight we would not have stayed there. We would have left. I will never again spend money at La Quinta. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before and it was amazing.
Cons: It was absolutely disgusting. Toilet and tub both clogged twice. They actually refunded the whole room
Because of our complaints. Do not stay there. It is t worth it. You will feel dirty.

Cons: Guy at the pool was creepy and muttered remarks under his breath about us.
Pros: I like to visit NYC every once in an while but don't like to cost of hotels in the city, not to mention the trouble with parking my vehicle. I find this hotel reasonably close to the city for a reasonable cost and with plenty of parking space. The facility was clean and the staff was ok.
Cons: I felt a little aggravated that at breakfast, the regular coffee machine was broken and there was no regular coffee at all, only decaf. When I inquired about it, the personnel attitude was like "there's no regular coffee, deal with it." I feel that coffee is a fundamental part of the american breakfast and the management could have make alternative provisions to have regular coffee available. Now, to be fair, I was not completely coffee-less. There was regular coffee with a coffee maker at the room, but them the second day of my stay they did not supply with a disposable plastic component need to brew the coffee and I had to walk to the front desk to get it.
Pros: Convenient to event we were attending
Cons: Serving area was crowded for breakfast
Pros: Nice, clean, quiet rooms. The beds were very very comfortable.
Very nice breakfast including eggs and sausage. Enjoyed the pool and workout area. Close to all the Palmyra LDS Historic sites and the Hill Camorah Pageant.
Pros: It's located conveniently
Cons: Terrible service, terrible breakfast, expensive for what you get and elevator didn't work.

Cons: A true pay-by-the-hour motel. There was a sign out front that said "Special daytime rates." Disgusting. No central air conditioning, and the room was HOT. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The TV remote didn't work. The microwave was so tiny that food containers or travel mugs wouldn't fit. Right next to a busy street and walls were thin so it was loud all night. Would NOT stay here again. Plan ahead and avoid this place.
Located near a train station, Central Motel Courtyard is a great choice for a stay in White Plains. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: The toilet ran all night and after asking for it to be fixed, I was assured it was. It had not been and I was told no other room could be offered and no compensation was given for 2 sleepless nights. Other guests were in and out of the rooms all night long, slamming doors. I wasn't sure my car was safe in the parking lot.
Pros: Cost was 85% of better equipped hotels but they were all booked. So glad to find a bed near Tarrytown NY.
Was adequate and safe.
Cons: Poor soundproofing. Heard adjoining room guest snoring. Little space in small bedroom.
Breakfast substandard. Waterry oatmeal. Room temperature orange juice. Coffee OK.
Cons: there was a one inch gap between the floor and the door which meant anyone could look underneath it and anything can crawl underneath it as well. I found two spiders in the room along with a bed bug. There was also some big furry critter on the wall that we had to kill. The microwave worked but made this crazy noise like it was going to explode. And there were tears/rips in the curtains. Pretty creepy!

Cons: Five days of no housekeeping service and I got charged because what I left required a dumping fee to cleanup really.
Pros: Very comfortable, and clean. Don't have to go far to eat or see a movie everything is right there.
Cons: Every time I stay at Extended Stay I always have to call front desk for cups. There's NEVER any dishes in our room as advertised. No plates not pots no cups etc.
Pros: Anywhere that charges less than $150-$200/night in NY should be considered for carefully. The other reviews were on point with the stale cigarette smell, dingy rooms, and bare minimum amenities. There are those nappy/pilly blankets on the bed that you know are never washed. Bed was uncomfortable for my back. No dishware for an extended stay facility???!!! Drunk guys lining.the area behind the hotel between the parking lot...did not feel safe.
Cons: ALL OF THE ABOVE
Cons: Absolutely terrible!! A non smoking room smelled like smoke because the smoking area was right below our room. Elevator was a mess. The room only had 2 towels and pillows the size of tic tacs. Several of the doors to the rooms near us either didn't have closers or were broken because the doors were slamming all night. Management was very slow in responding to a couple arguing right outside our room. The coffee was horrible and the "breakfast" was a joke. Never again!!
Pros: The room was nice, the bed was comfortable.
The parking however was in a parking garage behind the building. Make sure you go to the middle of the building where the elevator is if you need it.
Checked the room for bugs etc and there was nothing.
Had a decent sized flatscreen tv
Cons: When I Checked in, the staff was not the nicest or patient enough.
I just tried to make sure I had everything needed and they were cutting me off mid-sentence constantly showing no patience with me or kindness.
Although the place had wifi, it was slow and you had to pay at least 4$ a day for an increase in speed.
