9.3 Excellent
Pros: Picnic in Hever Gardens
Cons: Wifi in our room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place to stay! I will definitely come again, when back in the UK. We had breakfast in the Great Hall in the castle, so that was very special. Lovely helpful staff. Rooms were superb. Having the ability to wander the grounds outside of public hours was also very nice. The pub in the village was also great for dinner, since they don't have a restaurant.
Cons: I can't think of anything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fine hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and a wonderful breakfast both mornings!! Absolutely delightful!!
Cons: If I had to find a problem it was that the toiletries weren't replaced. We actually paid a further £30 to stay on the second night (£205) so you would have expected fresh toiletries. Just a small complaint really however I didn't have any with me on this occasion. I did go to the reception and I was given a shower gel which was fine but I really shouldn't have to ask.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Charmingly comfortable and luxurious without pretension. Very good breakfast. Nice to be able to wander the grounds before the castle opens for the days tourists. Fun playing snooker in the billards room at Hever after a very good dinner at the Wheatsheaf down the road.
Cons: Be warned on a hot day, the rooms are probably very hot, but then again this is England so those days are rare.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds, gardens and setting are beautiful. The room was very well appointed and very clean. The dining room (where breakfast is served) is quite special.
Cons: Some of the "hot" breakfast was cold (the bacon had obviously been cooked some time earlier - and we arrived at opening time. The breakfast service was OK, but about as warm as the food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it all. The room, the castle, the grounds. Loved playing snooker late at night, loved strolling the castle grounds in the early morning before it opened to the public.
Cons: The Henry VIII pub across the street is a remote rural pub, so you might think you can drop in without a reservation, but the place was packed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Absolutely lovely
Cons: No AC
7.5 Good
Pros: Our room (Snowdrop) was beautiful, the setting so special too. All staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. A really special way to spend our 10th wedding anniversary and we’d love to come back again one day!

Pros: What a lovely stay ! Thanks to both Julia and David for all that they did to make my trip easy. It was a rainy day and I was in-between flights. I so enjoyed just being in the little efficiency cabin and resting. The warm bathroom floor and towel rack were lovely. And I so enjoyed the hot cup of tea and biscuits in my room. Do I sound pampered? I was! Thanks again.

Pros: The hosts went above and beyond for our one night stay. David ferried us to the local pub in extra consideration of my 7 year old, and my son’s tired legs, and they are also mailing me an item which I left in the room.

Pros: Lovely quiet location with very attentive owners
Cons: Everything was good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Although our taxi driver had a few problems to find the correct location of the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find everything as pictured on the website. All rooms and especially the lounge were very tastefully decorated and radiated calm and peacefulness. We (3 couples) were made to feel very comfortable from the first to the last minute. The bedrooms were well appointed with lots of attention to detail. In spite of the smallness (4 rooms) Margarita made sure that we got a 5-star service including being able to enjoy a night cap late in the evening and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommendable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was just perfect. A full English breakfast served beautifully.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good shower. Sensational breakfast. Lovely hosts.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were also very accommodating for our baby and cooked up a super breakfast for all 3 of us.
Cons: The only downfall was that the curtains in the room were rather thin which meant that because we are in the British summer, the sun from 5am was so bright that we were all awake much earlier than usual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My second visit in as many weeks! A very warm welcome from owners Andy and Sue. Room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels and toiletries in the shower room. Because I needed to be at Brands Hatch early morning, an excellent breakfast was served early as requested. Sue was able to book a local restaurant for an evening meal for me, with 40% discount too! Thank you.

Villa Verde Gatwick - Horley - Building

9.4 Excellent (1,344 reviews)

A stay at Villa Verde Gatwick places you in the heart of Horley, a 4-minute drive from Manor Royal Business Park and 5 minutes from Gatwick Aviation Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and coffee/tea in a common area. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owner was extremely helpful, friendly, inn was well run, organized and clean. Rooms were of good size, bathroom as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beds were good, location excellent for very early flight, close to airport. This place is one of the better places for the area. We arrived early for a Sunday, the area was quite, we walked to the local shops. Easy to find a pub meal or order take away like we did.
Cons: Be warned, one flight of stairs has 17 stairs, very steep to our rooms. They do have a dumb waiter for your suit cases, you could request a room downstairs if you found it hard on the stairs. The bathroom is extremely small, just like an aeroplane toilet, typical all English showers the pressure is like a trickle, so hard to wash long hair. If the owner recommends an Italian restaurant, down the road it’s very expensive. There are plenty to choose from the local town of Horley, there’s a Tesco Express, not far.
7.5 Good
Pros: The front reception closes at 9.30 but info on how to get in is provided. The doors work on key pads so getting in and out of the rooms is easy. We were upgraded and our room was big. 7 mins from Gatwick airport (perfect). The place had a slightly old English house feel but was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Tea, coffee, water, biscuits, hairdryer, etc. I’d book it again if I was flying from Gatwick airport.
Cons: Had to pay £3 for parking despite us being guests and it felt a bit dusty (old English house feel).

Cons: none
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great welcome given by Clive and Carmel in our last minute panic! . Best night's sleep for ages. Great beds.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who absolutely go the extra mile!! Accommodated is even after flight delay & changing room to accommodate my husband who missed his onward links too. Happily offered to shuttle us both separately including a v early morning start for me husband !! Thank you so much. Delicious generous breakfast too. It was noteworthy that for once there was sufficient milk to have many drinks in your room which I appreciated.
Cons: Nothing disliked at all. The property is homely rather than modern hotel style as you’d expect with a B&B. A power shower would be a bonus if the owners were looking to make any changes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The loveliest place! Very convenient to the airport, very comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Perfect location to base yourself if you want to see Hever Castle and Chartwell. Very friendly pub, great food. Dinner was really tasty as was breakfast. The room was very comfortable and it was lovely to have the doors open and sit on the balconey Would definitely go back to the greyhound if we were to return that way
Cons: Nothing. It was all good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy room, the 2 ladies we interacted with were both very helpful
Cons: Only downside was (not sure if due to the heatwave earlier in the week) as soon as you stepped outside our room and walked the corner to go towards the road was a really strong smell of sewage. It could have been a septic tank or something out their control but as we only stayed one night and was outside didn’t impact on our stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good accommodation and first class food friendly staff would recommended to a friend
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very welcoming. Breakfast of scrambled eggs with salmon was delicious. Rooms were very clean and well appointed with a very nice view from the balcony.
Cons: Nothing to complain about at all.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the interior of the pub very well modernised and comfortable. Food? That was very good.
Cons: The accommodation needs attention in particular a better mattress and pillows
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a really nice 1-night stay. Beautiful pub, fabulous garden and absolutely fantastic breakfast. Our room was a little small but it was fine for 1 night.
Cons: The bathroom door was not closing properly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was of a very high standard, really delicious! The owner and staff were very conscious of making sure you had everything you needed and went out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend staying here especially if you are visiting Hever Casle, Chartwell and Biggin Hill as they are all so close.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike or improve upon.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room and excellent, very tasty food, and very nice service in the restaurant from the waitress at dinner who was lovely. The Inn is brilliant for walking to Hever castle - there is a public footpath, over fields, which takes you almost exactly to the castle in about 10 minutes which is great.
Cons: There is a notice outside which says the Inn isn't suitable for guests under 7, or dogs... I'm sure its personal taste, but that made the welcone seem a little frosty to me, so be advised! When we arrived we were told we couldn't have dinner at the time we preferred, for no real reason, which was a little off-putting; but otherwise it was fine and the food really was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pub with lovely decor, modern and clean rooms and super accommodating staff. Oliver was very welcoming and helped us with every need including arranging transport to a wedding for us. The food was also excellent. Highly recommended and we already want to go back.
Cons: Nothing to fault!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oakhurst Gatwick B&B was just a stopover on our way home; however, we are planning on coming back. Jon was very accomodating with our late arrival and provided us a fantastic hot breakfast which hit the spot ahead of a very long day of travel ahead of us. The bed was comfortable, the showers hot, the room quiet and there was plenty of coffee for us weary travelers.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Shuttle to the airport. Location. Owner friendlier in the morning.
Cons: Everything was tired and worn, threadbare carpets, very old linens, felt old and musty. Pillows flat and lumpy. We were late checking in but were met by a very grumpy staff member. Looking forward to a typical large English breakfast, which was only adequate, with no choices. Owner advised that they are going to start building and renovations next year, once completed these might improve the experience.
7.5 Good
Pros: Near to gatwick , comfortable bed
Cons: Nothing in particular
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So friendly and helpful - delicious breakfast and super clean rooms. Slept great under the cozy comforter

Pros: Great welcome by Marina, also offered us a free breakfast and use of facilities for our daughter who we were meeting off an early morning flight. We didn’t take up the offer but very much appreciated the gesture.
Cons: Obviously very close to Gatwick, so a little noisy but but certainly not a criticism of the property. My advice take earplugs to ensure a good nights sleep

Pros: Nice large room.
Cons: Hair on the bathroom floor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My room was very charming and it was obvious that my host enjoyed decorating her own rooms as well as the guest rooms. The outlook from my room was delightful across the small village green. And being spring, all the flowers and wisteria were in bloom. Breakfast was so well prepared with many choices. I easily parked my car in the pub across the road, and ate dinner there as well - using a free drink voucher provided by the Old Manor House - lovely menu there and reasonable.

The Bakery Restaurant With Rooms - Westerham - Building

9.0 Excellent (413 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Westerham, The Bakery Restaurant with Rooms is within a 15-minute drive of Chartwell and Surrey Hills. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really nice and welcoming. Tried as hard as they could to help us with our requests. The room was nice and clean , was glad the rooms are soundproof. The pub was busy and noisy during the evening but we could hardly hear it and slept well. If we were in the area we would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Wish there was aircon in the room. It got really warm inside. The cleaners could spare a bit more time on cleaning the shower heads and sinks. There’s no excuse for all that limescale. Little bit of cillit bang or Viakal would do magic! The carpets could do with a clean too. But these observations and didn’t effect our stay.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The size of the room was lovely and setting in village.
Cons: The carpets on the staircase were terrible and in the room the carpets were stained and grubby. Whilst the room was lovely and big there were several small things that could benefit from attention. Grouting in shower in places needs doing, cobwebs etc. Breakfast was not great
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Nice place, nice location, great food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were excellent and staff very friendly.
Cons: Nothing of note
10.0 Excellent
Pros: an excellent breakfast nothing was missing. As we were visiting somewhere local, the location was great.
Cons: nothing all good,
5.0 Okay
Pros: I thought the manager was lovely and very accommodating and the waiter was pleasant. Although I had to send my meal back because my lamb was slightly undercooked, the manager was more than happy to resolve it straight away. The manager also opened up for breakfast 30 minutes early due to the fact we had to leave around the time breakfast usually starts. The breakfast itself was cooked perfectly and the breakfast room (the bar area) was nice and cool - just what you need on a red hot day like this. The restaurant area of the property is very stylish and the whole place is very clean.
Cons: When I booked my room I was looking for somewhere special to stay. It was our anniversary and we have 4 boys home from university so really wanted to get away for the night. The property had some very good reviews and looked amazing from what I could tell. I was excited and more than happy to pay the non-refundable £139 for the room. When I arrived at the property I was surprised to find, what looked on the outside, more like a pub on a main road. I had to park on a side street and walk through the bar area to check in. When I was shown to my room I was both gob-smacked and upset. The stairwell did not seem very safe due to the fact a handrail seemed to be missing on the side with the drop, there was a mini-fridge outside my room with bottles of orange in and a sticker saying 50p on the front of it. My room was nice, but had blinds only at the windows, the window were all wide open to let some fresh air in and all I could hear were people talking and cars. When I looked outside my window I found a group of people drinking and smoking. I decided to close the windows and the blinds. That's when I discovered there was no air-conditioning. Instead, a noisy and not very effective plug in desk fan was available. When I booked the room I was led to believe the room would have a bath. I was wrong. The shower was fine but I was really hoping for a bath, plus the water temperature was a little temperamental. The noisy fan had to stay plugged in all night and I still woke up soaking in sweat because I was so hot. The blinds also failed to block the light, so as soon as the sun came up, early in the morning, I was awake. All in all, pleasant staff, pleasant restaurant and bar area and delicious breakfast - but I would not stay again and definitely not if I had to pay £139 again
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: On their website it clearly states that Tue-Thu there is dinner offers ie £20.50 for 2 courses and £25.50 for 3. Both the waiter and manager said this wasn't right, waiter was rude, made me feel stupid and said we couldn't have this offer and told me to speak to the manager in the morning. Although the manager was polite he also said this offer was not on and in 20 years noone has mentioned it before. It clearly shows this offer on their website so beware !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very happy to help anyway he could plus the breakfasts were excellent.
Cons: The weather was very hot but this was beyond his control
8.3 Excellent
Pros: helpful staff
Cons: lack of air conditioning
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Bakery was a real discovery, chosen for its proximity to two National Trust properties - Chartwell and Emmetts Garden, though those are interchangeable with others, and The Bakery itself has its own history as a building. The exterior signing is self-descriptive - Bar - Brasseries - Restaurant - and it is all of these: very agreeable ambience. The room itself - the other vital factor - was very comfortable: big bed, en suite with everything working and in place. It was the hottest day of the year (of any year), but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Menu is very good: not 'pub food', but doesn't need to strain itself to be excellent quality, and sufficient. There is no breakfast menu, but any reasonable request will be met to a high standard (includes basic non-meat options). The bar has its own regular clientele, a friendly atmosphere, and there is a 'real' pub across the way, which seems to exist in harmony.
Cons: A fan in the room was the only item lacking... It was just unfortunate, given the high temperature.

Pros: Very good stayover near the airport, just one bus stop by no. 20 or 22 or 100. Surprisingly pleasant place, extremely nice staff. Very cosy beds though the room was small. Quite at night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stayed overnight prior to a flight from Gatwick, the hotels location is very close to the Airport. Linda and Tony were very friendly and welcoming, and they were extremely accommodating. We had an early flight and a early morning continental style breakfast was laid out for us to eat before we left.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good access to the airport and a ground level room. A good selection for breakfast.
Cons: It was a basic room with no place to eat dinner as advertised. The host was not that welcoming and there was garbage in the bathroom bin. The sink in the bathroom smelled really bad. The cleanliness of the place was not as good as I was hoping for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, comfy beds, clean room. Despite being next to a busy road, it was quiet. And it was super easy to get back to Gatwick for our flight the next morning.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The free collection and return to Gatwick airport was excellent and well organised with all the information about freephone and telephone number arriving by email. It is a family run hotel and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were advised to reserve a table at the nearby 'pub' which we did and where we had a delicious evening meal. The breakfast was excellent and the conservatory very pleasant for relaxing in.
Cons:
6.7 Good
Pros: clean comfortable room near good pub woth good menu
6.3 Good
Pros: Closeness to transport and able to use laptop in room nice and clean and good choice of breakfast
Cons: (Not any) only that it is not a hotel but a guest house and on arrival from air port on asking about the gatwick house hotel no one knew there was a hotel called that on that I did not mind it being a guest as it was just as good
8.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Unespected amazing. 15 min by taxi from Gatwick airport in the English countryside I felt like in a storytale. Warm comfortable and authentic
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Room was huge. Strong wifi, great surroundings and helpful staff.
Cons: Room only had a bath with shower head which was disappointing given the size of the bathroom. Minor point though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is very close to Gatwick - around 10 to 15mins in the car. The environment was very quiet and relaxing, not to mention beautiful. Oh and they have Guiness on tap
Cons: Lights outside the room were not on when trying to enter the room at night, made thing a little difficult to open the door - small issue. Maybe lights on a photocell or movement sensor would be handy. A stand to hold the shower head incase you want a standing shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well appointed room. Extra king-sized and very comfortable bed. Fully en suite large bathroom. Inn dated back to 17th century with old beams and great ambience. Staff were super-friendly and professional. Had breakfast and dinner over 3 days. Food and service were excellent. Garden with outside dining possible. Ample free car parking. Many sites of interest nearby and also close to Gatwick Airport (15 minutes).
Cons: There was nothing we did not like.
6.3 Good
Cons: Booked for dinner on friday night and initially told there was no champagne available- they did find some. Food was OK but nowhere near as special as we remembered from previous visit. Saturday morning at breakfast our croissants were still raw- only part baked. We asked for more and the second offering wasn't much better; honestly how hard is it to bake a frozen pastry properly? Arrived 5 minutes late on Sunday morning and were refused breakfast! Not offered even toast or cereal. the girl who checked us out did take the cost off our bill but we left hungry. Really disappointed after a super stay here a year or so ago- we learned the place has changed hands. Rooms are decent but beware a dangerously hot towel rail in the bathroom- I accidentally brushed against it and was left with a nasty burn on my bottom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern rooms with a warming country feel
Cons: The noisy neighbours upstairs running about (but kids will be kids :) )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff and excellent food
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were good enough to provide us a continental the night we arrived because we were leaving early but it was quite limited. Worth considering when it's included in the price.
Cons: We found everything to our liking and would definitely stay there again en route to Gatwick but being mindful of the kitchen opening and closing times to take advantage of the good food.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little touches..fresh coffee in room, fabulous bath, lovely view, great food.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Noisy bar, noisy road, noisy planes. Place is beautiful, but feels rather run down. Toilets not working properly.

8.8 Excellent
Cons: Very hot night shame we couldn't cool down or open a window...very nice place to stop over before heading to the airport
4.0 Okay
Pros: they kindly allowed me to store my bags between check-out and my late afternoon flight. the bathroom was very clean. lovely house.
Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The flush toilet was not working and we couldn't use it. We ended up using a bucket :( The fan was also broken and it was just the heat wave in the UK
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large family room, clean and comfortable beds coupled with excellent friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble for Quasim! The ease of check-in and lift to the airport in the early hours of the morning were really appreciated!
Cons: No major issues but the family room was at the very top and was just too many stairs for an elderly member of the family. The bathroom was functional but small for 5 people and could benefit from some minor updating, but overall was worth the stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Booked triple room for my American friend & her two daughters. The room was bigger than it looked in the photo and one bed had been changed to a double since the photo, there was certainly enough space for it, it could therefore easy take 2 adults and 2 younger children. I liked the quirkiness of the room layout with one bed in an alcove, the girls loved it too! Spacious bathroom and very clean. Communal areas nicely decorated, very welcoming front entrance hall. Two minutes walk to restaurants in Horley town centre.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is bathroom is looking a bit dated in style but it was certainly sparkling white and clean.
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was chaotic one member in our group didn’t receive hers then given to someone else no choice only eggs offered no proper cooked breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing !
Cons: A bit more help with the luggage
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to Gatwick, clean, friendly, obvious pride taken in the running of this hotel.
Cons: The nature of the building had us carrying our bags up many flights. We were able to store a few downstairs (we were 5 people) more storage downstairs, bell service, or easier way of getting bags so room would have been good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Its hospitality is great, the house manager is really friendly and kind.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. The host was also very thoughtful contacting us in the morning to check when we would arrive. We arrived late and keys were left and again the owners were very accommodating leaving keys for us. Rooms were lovely and it's great for a gatwick airport departure.
Cons: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, but that maybe just me.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Well-located, close to the city center and to Gatwick airport (5-10 minutes far by car or 1 stop by train). Breakfast included was fair enough. The room was comfortable in general.
Cons: We could hear our neighbours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and I stayed. Lovely place!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Location staff, room and grounds. Excellent food and bar.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness of room lots of space. Location of hotel to Gatwick airport. Period property.
Cons: The waiter in the morning - got mine and another guests order the wrong way round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our superior room was lovely, it was clean spacious and a fabulous view! The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The menu choice was limited and disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to stay after a long overseas flight. Its a short taxi ride from Gatwick. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. I loved walking in the gardens and sitting on the patio. Dinner was excellent too.
Cons: Everything was perfect. No dislikes at all.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I liked the vintage style. Booked the hotel as travelling from Warwickshire to catch early morning flight to Gatwick. I’m Pregnant and knew I would need to rest before catching my flight.
Cons: Unfortunately the hotel was an inconvenience. I had to leave at 03:30am to get to Gatwick for my flight. I woke up to find that there was no hot water running in the en-suite shower room! I called staff on the phone only to be told it should be on shortly. I waited - but it still didn’t come on. Not only that the sink drain stopper was broken so the water would not drain. The taps were also dirty. To make matters worse, when I went down to reception, no one was there to attend to me. My stay was on 30th July 2019. I was there for under 6 hours and it was Awful. I would like a full refund. I’ve emailed and sent a text to the hotel to complain and have had no response.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed really comfy and excellent location. Good food.
Cons: The internal room had a sky light which didn't close. This was not a major problem until the morning when we had builders walking across the roof and obviously looking down which I can tell you was an horrific experience. What a shame. I did complain but the staff showed little interest and did nothing to ease the embarresment. I chose to write a letter after and did receive an apology and a small payment. I would stay here again but the staff need to recognise when to say sorry. Language was a barrier and it took me to contact them even though they said they would contact me.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The building and decor is good
Cons: The staff were not accommodating if you are traveling with a child. Seemed reluctant to prepare food for a child and very abrupt. The rooms were filthy with windows and window seals dirty. The bathroom was dirty and there was rubbish from previous occupants. Deliveries came in at 3am at the front of the building and woke us all up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy clean old world hotel. Perfect location for a private party. Staff nice and helpful especially at reception.
Cons: Nothing would stay again. One tone thing water in the room would be nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charm and room rates
Cons: The entrance inside could be decorated such that it is more cosy.
