Very spacious room, large and comfortable beds, nice romantic restaurant, family atmosphere. Good base for shopping in Hugo Boss Outlet, Metzingen Outlet City, only 10 minutes drive. Small and old TV set, no hair-dryer. If you don't like sweet breakfast, it is lean choice. WiFi is not free, but 5 euro for 3 days. I didn't see designated smoking area, although I didn't ask for it because we are allowed to smoke in room.
Location, restaurant, comfort Parking is a problem. Fortunately, we had reserved a space, but they are very limited
Employees reported that the hotel was great, they liked their rooms, the view, and the service. None
Room was very good. Breakfast was included but had a limited selection.
Cleanliness and coziness No
Great localization, good kitchen, nice breakfast
Central position of the Hotel in the city is very good. We were kindly served. To check in we had to phone a mobile number. Breakfast room looked like a train station hall with large tables.
Friendly staff, central location, good kitchen Inconvenient mattresses, A double bed has two separate mattresses.
Very nice hotel, rooms were spacious and clean. Dinner was lovely, just what you need after a long trip. Breakfast was fresh. Staff were always happy to help even with a language barrier between us, even helping us save money at the local amenities. We will be going back to stay. 2 floorboards creaked but it did add to the character and there was no hot breakfast.
The owner is very friendly...The rooms are clean.. The town is cozy
convenience as whom I was visiting hard to explain, but very bland/plain - i entered and left without ever seeing anyone most of the time- different atmosphere- i will need to stay there again for business but I think it is overpriced for what it is
i could not connect to wifi from my room because the signal was not strong enough
WiFi signal too weak for connection at Hotelroom
Our family room was very big and comfortable. The location was great, very quaint small village. The staff was friendly. A slight language barrier, but that really wasn't a problem.
lovely setting had trouble finding the hotel and language barrier was a bit tough
Already the third time when we stayed at the Ochsen. Excellent food, great breakfast, quiet, traditional yet refurbished and modern rooms, highly recommended. ...the restaurant is closed on Sunday
The restaurant was convenient and very good. Rooms quite large and very nice and clean. Convienient parking as well. Staff of the restaurant made too many assumptions before letting us speak, so we missed trying the kind of local beer we wanted.
We stayed in ''apartment 1''. This apartment has two rooms and for two more extra people, they set up a sofa bed in the living room, but it was comfortable to sleep in. In the living room, there was a mini kitchen also. The staffs are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is very close to the Blautopf. The elevator in the hotel was a plus also.
Room, bathroom,TV at room, the little, quiet town, lift in the hotel Some rooms are with old stufs, also in the room for breakfast.
Spacious room- very clean and tidy No problems
Lovely and clean, great food... a bit pricey but worth it The walls were rendered and very rough. Our 2 year old fell against the wall and grazed himself badly. As ours was a family room and the bunks for the children were against the wall this was a bit dangerous.
great value great location
Convenient, great breakfast, friendly staff, free internet, traditional feel, informal and easy going, very pretty location in the town parking is a bit hit and miss, limited psace.
A very well-run comfortable family hotel with friendly staff. The bedroom was a good size, and we were also given a sitting room with a small balcony. The restaurant was excellent and we were able to eat outside in a delightful square.
I am completely satisfied with everything. It was superb.
The food cooked by the restaurant's hotel is excelent. The room is clean. Internet has worked excelent. The location was a little bit far from our visit point.
Very nice huge room and hotel. Very good restaurant.
Everything OK. We'll be back !
environment waiting time terrace
Nice atmosphere, excellent restaurant
Very nice hotel with adjacent hot baths and spa. Ample free parking and an excellent restaurant. The staff was accommodating and all at reception spoke English. Just a short drive from the very beautiful Bad Urach old town.
Calm and nice place to relax.
spacious room, good breakfast anxious garage, better to park outside
Breakfast, definitely outstanding Unfortunately I was disappointed by the room. Too small, the bed was against the wall and the TV set too small. I felt not confortable and I could not sleep
Great breakfast It look like 3 star hotel, not for yang people.
Very convenient hotel, 10 minutes from the motorway. Good breakfast. Unfortunately the weather was very hot during our stay, and there is no air conditioning. Heavy quilts were on the bed, which didn't help.
The atmosphere of the hotel is perfect in balance, friendly personal. Unexpected nice decorated hotel in a small town. One minus point is that the restaurant is a limited day's of the week open. The restaurant is only open on Monday's, Thusday's and Friday's.There are no other good restaurants in the village. You need to take the car for a diner during the day that the restaurant is closed.
The decor, cleaniness and friendly staff
Very clean and modern. Nice breakfast. Hotel staff very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely stay at the hotel again..
The rooms are spotless, new and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. We spent the night here on our way further south. It is situated very near to the high way. We probably would not stay here for a holiday due to the close environment.
Its modern comtemporary style in an old traditional german style house. Large rooms (almost suites) with wonderfully comfortable beds. Fabulous and filling breakfast buffet. Well stocked and reasonably priced mini-bar. The only downside was that the restaurant was only open about 3 times a week. It is probably a very english request, but tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms or communal areas would be nice to have when returning back to the hotel, especially as there is no bar and the restaurant's not open all the time. Location is a bit further out of town than anitcipated, but still walkable in 30min
The good quality of the room and the friendly staff
Very nice setting with a classical restauration on the outside and a sober, inviting style inside. A fantastic room for a family of four. A very friendly reception allthough we arrived after midnight. For all heading to Austria on a holiday and needing a stop-over, I can truly recommend to start the holiday at the Rössle place! Nothing att all. Quite better than expected even!
Good location and excellent standard
The cleanliness and style (has just been refurbished), very friendly staff.
staff we friendly no
The room was nice and the staff great. The food was good. Everything was great.
The staff were very friendly and the quality of the food was very good
Breakfast was nice. Staff was helpful with information. There is no air conditioning. It was extremely hot with only one fan for the room. I would not suggest this place in the summer. We were very uncomfortable.
location was right in the centre of town. bathroom was poor size, with light and extractor fan not working. The room had a musty smell
Bar was not open Sunday evening
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Urach is such a beautiful little town and everything was in easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant featured some really good Schwabian dishes, which we enjoyed.
Tasty meal in restaurant. Nice suite in trditional german style for reasonable price.
Excellent staff - Very friendly and helpful.
Very nice rooms and with a very good Terme. Also very close to Bad Ueberkingen golf club. Breakfast was also very nice. Nothing at all.
The restaurant was top class quality food and excellent friendly service at reasonable prices The hotel has 3 buildings (which they don't mention when you book). Initially I was allocated a room in an annex building which was simply decorated and the walls extremely grubby (marked) and badly needing redecorated. After complaining I was given a room in the main building which had an excellent standard of furnishing - clean and modern. I would recommend highly anyone booking a room at this hotel
Very kind hotel staffs
Extremely friendly staff. Very accomodating for an early checkout at 5:30am.
Very comfortable, quiet room - excellent breakfast - friendly service
very few people speaking few english words. difficult to communicate.
Hotel staff kindness Difficult to find-Check out too early
The room decor was a bit dated, but all was in good condition and clean. We enjoyed the spa facilities and the breakfast buffet was very good and had a wide variety of choices. We seemed to be the only family at the place. The clientele seemed to be all business people and older couples. This is only an observation, not necessarily a bad thing. The location worked well for us as we were visiting friends that live in a town close to Bad Boll. I was disappointed by the incredibly high internet fees (16 euro/day!), especially because the wireless connection was so poor that it was difficult to maintain a connection in our room. We had to sit in lobby areas to stay connected...and paid a very high price. I personally feel that charging for a wireless internet connection is unnecessary and price-gouging.
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a very good breakfastbuffet. The hotel is situated just outside the quiet village of Bad Boll, in a green surroundings and has a big parking garage. Just a few minutes away from the highway A8. An ideal place to rest during a journey to the south of Europe. The Märklin Museum is situated not far from this hotel.
The rooms were very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, and the setting couldn't be better, with tennis courts, horseback riding, swimming pool a short walk away.
Calm and very good to rest Better maps for bigger suroundings
Good parking facilities. Close to Stuttgart/Zuffenhausen but in a calm location. The hotel charging guests for WiFI in the year of 2010... Should be free for all guests lika at Scandic Hotels.Slow check-out staff talking on the phone instead of taking care of the guests in front of them.
Quiet with plenty of space..lovely room..great breakfast menu..very helpful staff..great facilities no air conditioning in our room
Friendly and obliging staff. Convenience of restaurant and bar in hotel. We enjoyed both our evening meal and our breakfasts. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with plenty of choice.
Friendly staff willing to assist international travellers who only speak english No
Friendly atmosphere, nice staff, close to city centre non free Wi-Fi internet access
The sauna. The breakfast was good. no
A good level of care was shown despite a low number of guests in the hotel due to the impending holiday closing period. The food was very good and apparently locally produced.,
very friendly staff. no. very comfortable, and a "german" experience for me.
Service is great staff it's very good. It's only 40 km far away from studgardt
I was looking for a simple hotel for a one night stop on a family trip. This hotel is outstandingly clean, everything is new in the room, all is good. There is also a restaurant that we did not use, but looks like a high level one. For the price we paid is one of the best price/quality ratio I ever found.
The room is new and clean, restaurant good. The room cannot be smaller, no privacy if you want to invite a collage to watch tv, to small, do place for a door to the toilet /bad room.
