Location was great, right off the expressway with a lot of close stores. Asked for a roll away bed, which I was told they offered for $15/ night when I booked. Was given a mattress to lay on the floor, at the full $15/ night. Housekeeping was poor, found quite a few items around the bed on the floor that were not ours.
The reason we booked our stay at this location was its proximity to NYC as we traveled to visit all the tourist-y locations. It was right off the Lincoln Tunnel and the area didn't seem too sketchy... We had arrived the day of the big Nor'Easter on March 14th I believe, and one half of their parking lot was closed (which had already been cleared of snow) and the half they didn't close was sloped downward toward the building and not cleared of snow. Had I not been experienced in driving in snow, the parking stalls would have been very difficult to back out of. Poor planning really. We were also given an out-of-service room. The mini fridge was not working, and we luckily were able to resort to putting the food out in our car in the cold winter weather. The person at the desk that I talked to that evening said that they couldn't do anything about it until the next day... This hotel is listed as having a shuttle service. It does not. The said shuttle service entailed flagging down a public transportation bus and paying $3 per seat, then getting dropped off 2 blocks away on the return trip...This was an expense that we hadn't really planned for, but really it was just annoying to learn that there was no hotel shuttle service.
Very good location. Breakfast.
It's close proximity to New York by public transport breakfast
How close we were to NYC, the shuttle van. Value for the money. Bed sheets were dirty.
Really appreciated that Kayak lets you pay in advance for the room. I was buying it for my son. Good value, decent cont. breakfast, friendly staff, close to shopping & public transportation.
The shuttle service into NYC was easy to use and we enjoyed our trip. Difficult to drive in and out the shuttle didn't drop I you in front where it picked us up but still not far
very hard to find,it is right of the FreeWay,very noisy, bus service going to NY is poor, got to walk.Read the review for this Hotel, it was over rated
Frequent buses to Manhattan just in front of the hotel, hotel equipement (iron, Wifi), price. The breakfast could be better. No buses from nyc to hotel after 12:40 am (even earlier on Sundays).
Location in to new york was fantastic, as we had a bus every 10 minutes. We stayed there for 12 days, after a week had to request bed sheets to be changed. Towels were at times stained with dirt marks.
Complimentary breakfast No airport shuttle
It was a good location. And shuttle arriver every 10-15 min to NYC. Breakfast wasn't any good. Motel's room had a clogged sink.
The man at the service desk was rude. He complained when there were people in line and was short with answers. He was not afraid to snap at you. I could hear the people behind us having loud sex at 3 am and could smell their pot through the wall. The sheets kept coming off the bed. No shampoo. No breakfast.
I was attending a seminar and it was very close to where it was being held. Hotel was extremely noisy at night due to being right on Rt. 3. Picture on website looked much nicer. Room was dated.
The overall cleanliness was great it just did not feel very welcoming and the check in process is to crowded for such a small entrance. Did not really see much of the staff but the lady at breakfast was nice. Just in my opinion needs to be more of a welcoming environment. Definitely did not get that feeling
Bed was comfortable Pretty dirty. Run down bathroom
privacy and relaxing the bed sheets and blankets a bit dirty
The hotel was still rather new and the room was pretty nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. - Fridge and A/C not in full working order. - Staff told me that I couldn't check out when I went down front to check out the next morning. I've never heard of such. I checked out anyway. Staff was confused about the length of time that we were staying. - Staff took a photo copy of my credit card. - People lived here and one of the residents blasted music, while detailing his car for hours in the middle of the night. We got very little sleep. It was louder than the train going by. Nothing was done by the staff or security to handle the situation. - Parking lot is supposed to be for travelers only. Cars were in and out all night long. Nothing was done by staff or security. - We are frequent travelers that are familiar with staying in big cities and in different parts of the country. This is the only hotel that I have ever felt unsafe and unwelcome. Will not stay again.

Good location. Easy to find and easy to get to downtown. Although limited, provided a breakfast with juice. Bed was comfortable. They were very full and could not change my room from a smoking to non-smoking room due to being full for the bridge construction employees. Not sure if it would have mattered. Hotel smelled like smoke. All in all, good place for a single night due to location.
location. there was a one inch gap between the floor and the door which meant anyone could look underneath it and anything can crawl underneath it as well. I found two spiders in the room along with a bed bug. There was also some big furry critter on the wall that we had to kill. The microwave worked but made this crazy noise like it was going to explode. And there were tears/rips in the curtains. Pretty creepy!
Cost was 85% of better equipped hotels but they were all booked. So glad to find a bed near Tarrytown NY. Was adequate and safe. Poor soundproofing. Heard adjoining room guest snoring. Little space in small bedroom. Breakfast substandard. Waterry oatmeal. Room temperature orange juice. Coffee OK.
A true pay-by-the-hour motel. There was a sign out front that said "Special daytime rates." Disgusting. No central air conditioning, and the room was HOT. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The TV remote didn't work. The microwave was so tiny that food containers or travel mugs wouldn't fit. Right next to a busy street and walls were thin so it was loud all night. Would NOT stay here again. Plan ahead and avoid this place.
Every time I get to go to room the key gave problems then had to go to the front desk and the staff was not friendly so I wanted another 15 minutes before I could get in to the room that was paid for The wait to get the problems with the keys solve
Too expansive and too annoying! Upstairs rooms didn¿t stop talking and walking till over middle night.
simple clean but still comfortable room for the money. was a good way to relax after running around in NYC!
It was fairly cheap. I'm shocked they don't rent rooms by the hour. The rooms are very outdated dirty and uncomfortable. This place it one of the worst motels/inns I've been to. The room all though a non smoking room stinks of stale smoke. Everything seems dirty bed, shower, toilet. The beds were terrible. There are definitely hookers. I heard moaning from multiple sides of my room.
Front desk guy (Maneesh) was Awesome! Great deal for a perfect location to my conference. "Retro" vibe in that it's a typical-looking Motel from the 60s/70s.
Friendly staff, clean room, no noise, and I felt safe. Nothing
