We are 1+ hour from Calais & Arras, 2.5 hours from Paris, Brussels & Reims; in a quiet rural village, 5kms from Hesdin (which has shops, cafes & restaurants). We are offering a self-contained cottage (or gite) with a double bedroom that ideally suits a couple. The cottage is set in our enclosed courtyard across from the main house. Downstairs is an open-plan lounge / kitchen and dining space plus shower room. Upstairs, a double bedroom with gabled roof. There is a desk tucked under the stairs. The cottage has been restored from an old stable and is finished in oak and elm; equipped with everything for your getaway. We provide linen and towels, the kitchen has a fridge, hob, microwave & grill, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. We have been hosting visitors for 5+ years and are happy to share our space; you are welcome to enjoy our garden and there are plenty of outdoor seating areas in our courtyard. We charge the same weekly rate all year round, with no sudden hikes for school holidays or peak season. The Seven Valleys is a well-kept secret in northern France with an ever-changing landscape of undulating farmland; simply but beautiful countryside and friendly people. There is excellent cycling and we are 40 minutes from several stunning beaches. Ideal for singles and couples travelling for pleasure or business.
