Pros: We enjoyed staying at this hotel following a river cruise. It is literally across the road from where the ship docked. It was also convenient to the train station.
Cons: The room was very basic, although certainly adequate and comfortable.
Pros: Everything was great. Breakfast buffet is outstanding!
Cons: Nothing could have been better!!
Pros: I really liked the historic little town and the hotel was in the center of it. The staff was extremely friendly.

The family-run country inn is located in the centre of Windorf on the Danube, between the Rottaler Bäderdreieck and the Bavarian Forest. All guest rooms are spacious and furnished in a comfortable, traditional style. Balconies and terraces offer a magnificent view of the Danube and Windorf's Danube Island. Relax and unwind in the Landhotel and Bootshaus Moser. There is also a spacious sauna, a red light cabin and an outdoor pool. Guests can also enjoy the beneficial effects of classic massages and wellness treatments. The delicacies from our Bavarian cuisine are widely known. Therefore, our restaurant was awarded in the competition "Bavarian Cuisine"; by Minister of Economic Affairs Otto Wiesheu. Even if the Bavarian Forest is not a wine-growing region, you will find a large selection of German and international wines at the Landgasthof Moser in Windorf. Our shady beer garden, directly on the banks of the Danube, offers 170 seats and is an oasis of Bavarian cosiness. It can be used as a snack and rest area for day trips to Passau, or as a stage destination for a tour on the Danube cycle path from Regensburg via Passau to Linz and Vienna.
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Menu should have a copy in English and also how to use the TV. Enjoyed the sauna
Cons: It is remote if you don't have a car. Public transportation is hard to figure out. No elevator but they helped us with luggage
Pros: Excellent breakfast, varied selection of fruit, cheese and meats, plus cereals and jogurt. Good area for cycling or walking along the Danube.
Pros: Breakfast was nice. All we needed for starting the day. The location was good ,not too far away from the motorway.
Cons: Restaurant charges could not be added to the room charge but had to be paid separately.
Pros: Location at the Donau in peaceful area!
Cons: Noisy kids in pool until late!
Pros: There was a swimming pool! That was most welcome as we had just hit the start of the heatwave and cycled 72 km that day. The manager was very welcoming and found a secure place to put the bikes overnight. There is a huge amount of building work going on at the Pension, but it wasn't noisy - the workmen finished at five and we didn't hear anything before going down to breakfast. We ate at the pension in their little garden under the trees, a very good meal and breakfast was also good inside in a very alpine-looking stube. Our room was nice, big with a good bathroom and again quiet, though we had no view but looked out onto the neighbour's walls. There was a little balcony but it's one of those unsupported ones, just screwed into the wall and I can't bring myself to stand on them!
Cons: The balcony gave me the heeby-jeebies.
Pros: great location for me, friendly staff and the room was great
Cons: not so much that I didn't like it but the mattress on the bed was kind of tilted so felt I was going to roll off the bed
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: I’ve been offered a room well below standard and not reflecting their website at all (Shabby, tired and mouldy shower) After complaining I received a really nice room.
Pros: The hotel is located in a small town, close to the river & a big park. There is enough parking space at the back of the hotel (near the river) and the hotel has a nice & clean pool! The rooms (first floor in the back) had a beautiful balcony and a view to die for! :-) Breakfast was good, but not spectacular.
Cons: The regular staff wasn't available, so there was no one who could help us in English ... Both for checking in, checking out & during breakfast we had to use sign language and a bit of German to get by. The restaurant in the hotel was already closed at 20.00 O'clock, so we had to look for a restaurant somewhere and during breakfast the bread and spread wasn't added fast enough.
With a stay at Gasthof-Pension Stanek in Hofkirchen, you'll be 11.5 mi (18.5 km) from Aldersbach Abbey and 11.6 mi (18.7 km) from Aldersbach Former Monastery. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very comfortable bed and great home cooked food.
Pros: The village and surroundings... The host is kindly.
Pros: Very comfortable beds!
Cons: The bathroom...
Pros: Nice and cozy...good breakfast..nice people
Cons: Coffe machine in the room,maybe...
Pros: The hotel is close to the motorway in a small village with lovely views over green fields and a very clean air. There is a small playground for children and plenty of green space for them to run around. The owners are very nice and welcoming and the breakfast was good as well!
Pros: Place was very clean. Our room had a balcony. Breakfast was simple, but nice and sufficient. Basic room, but everything you need. No parking problems, enough space!
Cons: It was not very clear where to check in, especially for guests that don't speak German. Check-in is in another building but very close to the rooms. Bathroom is a bit small. WiFi? = :( No receipt after paying for the room at the reception.
Pros: Situated in a nice small Bavarian village- good to go for a short walk around the village. Staff were very helpful. Sturdy furniture in the bedroom.
Cons: Decor/ furniture in the bedroom could be updated.
