Pros: Everything! The chateau was beautifully decorated and furnished. The lounge/breakfast area was homely, our bedroom was absolutely beautiful and the little touches really made such a difference. The Chateau owner came out to greet us at the car and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay telling us of best places to eat around the chateau but he wasn’t overbearing. The hot tub area was great too. Breakfast was amazing - typical fresh french breakfast and everything had been thought of! We can’t wait to return soon and have been recommending to all our friends and family already!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed with friends in this elegant chateau for five nights. We were warmly welcomed by Alex who throughout our stay was a fantastic host. Our bedroom was the double room with terrace on the ground floor it was far larger and better equipped than we imagined. In the description a kitchenette is mentioned but it contained a fridge, freezer, full size cooker, microwave and a large cupboard with cooking utensils. We also had a sofa and small separate dining room. The quality of the furnishings were of extremely high standard and with a large comfy bed in beautifully quiet surroundings we slept very well. Breakfast each morning was an amazing sight, the table was filled with croissants, bread, cakes , fresh fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheese and delicious home made jams. Coffee was very good and replenished frequently. We highly recommend a stay at Domaine de la Chateau.

Pros: An absolutely wonderful B&B with such friendly and helpful hosts. A delicious breakfast with homemade jams. I love staying in character B&Bs when travelling and this one had it in bundles - especially the all the hens etc in the garden. Pros: First of all, I would like to mention that Katy, the owner, is a fantastic lady, super helpful, very kind and always ready to assist with anything she possible can. The location is nice and quiet and since we entered, it was kind of a feeling that we went back on another epoch. The house has more than 130 years old and the owner did a great thing to keep everything aligned with its style. We appreciated that there were no TVs in the rooms so no distractions. Beds were comfortable enough and the electric heaters were doing a great job. Our family room had toys and books for the little one so it was a great plus. Bathroom was very big and we could find all we needed there. The breakfast was amazing too, and Katy was always there to make sure we had all we need. In addition, we could use the kitchen to prepare the food for our baby for all his meals. For sure we will return in a near future, as the location and the area are amazing (not to far from Nausicaa either).

Pros: Everything was brilliant. Katy, our host was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. She was friendly and chatty and spoke perfect English. The room was very tastefully decorated, the house was gorgeous, the breakfast just right - everything was good. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful French country house on four levels, the family live in the lower two levels and the AIr BnB is the top two levels with a separate entrance and use of a communal (to the AirBnB section) lounge, dining area and kitchen. Beautiful furnishings, we had the place to ourselves and we enjoyed a quiet night in with pizzas, wine and a couple of games of chess. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Classic French breakfast of fresh bread, croissants, cereal and conserves, all very nice. Katy is extemely dog friendly and has two of her own dogs, but they are confined to the family home and the gardens to the rear of the house. So no problem with having our dogs there also. Highly recommend.
Cons: Lots of stairs lol. But that comes with the type of lovely house that it is. You can't have everything!
