9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and very friendly staff. Unfortunately our wardrobes had a problem with the sliding doors which meant once we have removed the tea/coffee tray we struggled to move it back in order to hang clothes. Did report it on our arrival but too short staffed to deal with. Mentioned it again when we checked out. A fresh bottle of water in the room each day was a real bonus. We did not have any meals at the hotel due to visiting family down the road for a bit family function.
Cons: The window blinds let in too much light in the mornings. Perhaps a inner blind during the summer months. Also a little more help with the faulty wardrobe doors, they did check to see if we could use another room but all booked up so felt it was a bit 'tough luck'
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were very accommodating, originally we was booked into a joining room and could hear everything going on next door, we notified the reception of this. They did everything they could and luckily they had another room available for us and it was an upgrade! Very happy with our stay.
Cons: The milk in the room for the tea and coffee was out of date, and the kettle needed a little clean, other than that a perfect stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was amazing - we arrived at 2am and a personalised note on the window advised number to call and waiting time. Food outstanding, as was the coffee, and everyone was so helpfull. My washing was even folded and returned to my bag!
Cons: It couldn’t have been better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty and served promptly. Room was just right for our needs and the bathroom had everything required.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is likable about this hotel. Lovely owners, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely local produce used in their delicious food
Cons: Only set back for this hotel is its quite a distance from my friends house, but this one is closest I can find
5.4 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean, the staff was professional and the food was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good rooms very helpful staff especially Jan
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good and cooked exactly how we liked it. The Malay Chicken Curry, in the evening, was wonderful, the best I've eaten outside a speciality restaurant. The staff make this place, they are all so lovley.
Cons: Everything was fine. If I had to be picky it would be about the lack of toiletries for the price we paid to stay. We would have liked some conditioner and a shower cap. There was a shower gel unit in the shower and separate shampoo left for us though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful food for both breakfast and evening meals. Very comfy bed. Ideal location for exploring the local area.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent!
Cons: Room 4 hairdryer needs replacing with a 21st century type hairdryer. Wifi in that room also not great.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the orchid room. The breakfast (especially the toast) was amazing, and I liked how the hosts let you get on with your own breakfast. The nearby garden was lovely. All in all was very tranquil and I will definitely be staying again in the future. Much better than I was expecting for the price!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, the garden is lovely it's like a self catering chalet rather than a b and b with a microwave, fridge and even a washer, we were lucky enough to have fantastic weather so able to sit on the veranda. There's a lovely walk to the orchard which takes you past the residential alpacas. Most important to us is that dogs are welcome, overall a beautiful place
Cons: Going home
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room.was spotlessly clean with nice.white bedding. Breakfast was as promised with daily fresh bread.milk.orange juice. Good room for a couple.
Cons: Garden and driveway strewn with rotten apples which could poison our dog. Ponds need cleaning out .stagnant water even in greenhouse.parking area badly needs attention as well overgrown with weeds. Shona did not know nearest pub or eatery. Told at 9.55 that check out was 1000. Then walked away not bothering to ask if we enjoyed our stay or was every thing up to standard. We even had to take our dog disposable bags away with us for 2 days as not told until i saw Steve and asked him on 3rd day. Overall a disappointing experience when it reads so well Just needs outside to be tidied and weeding done plus ponds and stream sorting out. Lets it down very badly
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect and my dogs welcomed and suitable places to walk them which was a bonus.
Cons: Directions for finding property could be improved. Adding directions from all sides rather than just from one side.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, peaceful ,lovely walks for our dog Ollie Self contained similar to a gite, very cosy, outlook to gardens beautiful Hosts very nice Spotlessly clean Had a lovely meal at the Rising Sun in Leverington ,10 minute drive and it’s dog friendly
Cons: Can’t fault the premises or grounds
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean & tidy with beautiful gardens. Exceptional muesli! Steve & Shona were great hosts without being intrusive. Good shower with an endless supply of hot water.
Cons: The kitchen would benefit from a sink or dishwasher.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Shower was fine. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: We booked the Orchard cottage but were moved into another cottage with a terrible view of dead trees and an ignored pond. Breakfast was poor: we expected continental but we only got some milk, kids cornflakes, 4 slices of bread and jam. With a little more effort, like adding yoghurt, cereals or granola, some cheese, the breakfast would have been fine. Dates for all biscuits were expired and tasted like it! Two of the nearby restaurants that were recommended in the booklet were closed 4 years ago! Not good value for the money, either upgrade services or reduce the price.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly. Beautiful garden. Barley the dog is just lovely, we were actively encouraged to pick and take home free fruit. A real beautiful little haven.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and lovely setting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. So lovely and great fresh ingredients

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great lodge to stay in. We were a family group of 7, we all fitted in with plenty of space spare. Despite the poor weather it was very warm all weekend. Loads of facilities, smart TV, good kitchen, washing machine etc. Was above and beyond expectations. Communication from the owner was excellent, plenty of info to make the stay painless.
Cons: It was a shame the swimming pool on site was closed for maintenance but that isn't the owners fault.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great views and facilities. Well stocked, has everything you need for a comfortable stay whether for a couple days or a couple weeks.
Cons: Happy with everything really, couldn't fault it.
6.7 Good
Pros: The LGSR displayed was out of date so quite worrying really
6.7 Good
Pros: Pool was a great bonus, the grandchildren absolutely loved it! Comfortable, roomy accommodation.
Cons: A childrens' playground would be a good idea.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Was total luxury and very comfy
Cons: Was a bit out but can’t fault the property
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location on the site, probably the best position on the whole site. Comfortable accommodation and very well equipped. Lots of chairs on balcony to relax watching the ducks and the golfers. Brilliant that we could take our dog.
Cons: The lodge needs abit of TLC. Dining chairs need replacing, gates on the balcony would have improved it, bathroom mixer tap broken, oven tray was left how the previous occupants had left it. Nothing of the above would disuade us from visiting again though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely break, We all really enjoyed. The accommodation was perfect, exactly what we wanted. The facilities were good and there was plenty to see, also excellent place to stay with dogs, many beautiful walks. Will certainly go back.

Pros: Nice room, great food.
Cons: Unpredictable shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast but had a meal in evening which was lovely although had expected a more modern cuisine after reading the write up of the chef and more choice. But what we had tasted lovely so not too worry.
Cons: The iron staircase outside which was only way to access our room. It poured with rain so we got very wet .
7.5 Good
Pros: I especially liked the food in the restaurant I had my son and daughter in law over for dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent served by the friendly staff Breakfast in the morning was cooked fresh and to order
Cons: The only down side was the electric shower ran hot and cold possibly due to dropping of water pressure also outside staircase to rooms very steep and could become slippery in wet and frosty weather especially as we asked for ground floor accommodation I don’t think the hotel has any on the ground floor but room itself very large and comfortable
7.0 Good
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Good value for money

6.3 Good
Pros: Location was great for visiting coastal towns and also Sandringham Estate. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good.

4.0 Okay
Pros: They had a wedding on so I was told which was priority
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is fine and I've stayed there before - I praised the staff for the stay and thanked them
Cons: My television didn't work. Also, the hotel sends emails outnif you record food allergies telling you you may need to bring your own food items. In truth, they gave me gluten free bread, but there were no plain eggs and I can't eat scrambled owing to milk so it was bacon, beans and bread both morning - which was ok but it would be nice to know what I CANT have for sure prior to

Cons: All good
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The shower
Cons: Cleanliness all round from floors to ceilings very grubby and stained. No toilet roll in room. No door on toilet. Curtains to small letting light in. Mattress on bed wasn't the greatest. Told there was milk for breakfast in morning no milk both mornings. Security of the accommodation was lackadaisical and down to myself as no one was actually at the property. No toilet roll in room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Security in the evening. Bed was very comfortable
Cons: The breakfast staff let down the visit on both days. Not knowing what gluten free bread was bit did actually find some and brought it out toasted however the Sunday was busy at 8am I was never asked if I wanted a drink or toast in 45 minutes. When I did ask for gluten-free toast I was told the toaster was already busy doing 16 slices! 20 minutes later none appeared so I left. Shame as the actual breakfast was good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Easier to find
6.0 Good
Pros: The quirkinesses or the age of the building, location and some of the staff.
Cons: Breakfast was to say the least shambolic, we had to sit at a table with dirty plates and some of the buffet was gone and not replaced and service was patchy at best.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is quirky with sloping stairs and floors due to parts of the hotel being over 400 years old. Comfortable room with good shower and large fluffy white towels. Tea and coffee in room. Nice breakfast. We had a meal in their pretty restaurant and that was amazing as was the price. So good and Mario was friendly, funny and attentive. Crystal on reception is also friendly as is Charlotte in the breakfast room. A lovely Georgian mansion bang in the centre of town. We will definitely return.
Cons: It's a shame it's in the centre of Wisbech with noisy locals and travellers in the early hours of the morning!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Freshly cooked Breakfast to order. Efficient and friendly staff
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The period of property which is 400 years old and is full of quirky floors and doors
Cons: Bathroom needs modernisation
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot to be fair, breakfast was good but staff serving it made it an unappetising meal. Unfriendly, rude and unresponsive are best I could describe them.
Cons: Service and customer management. From booking in to leaving a farse blamed new booking system and lack of training for not knowing what our booking was. Excuses over and over even down to getting pot if tea " I will have to go down stairs as I am descaling my kettle" 30 minutes before breakfast ends?
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: we were shocked to have booked thorugh booking. com on arrival the staff was extremely rude to say they had not recieved the email from booking. com despite us showing that we have the confirmation. He also said that the option that we paid extra for breakfast was invalid as they do not have a restaurant. SO WE PAID EXTRA WITHOUT RECIEVING THE BREAKFAST we will never use this hotel again
