Check in was quick and easy. Clean hotel and close to where we needed to be in Worcester.
The staff and accommodations were excellent. I want to commend the management team for a job well done.
The shuttle service was a little different than what I was expecting.
Very clean, updated decor
no hot tub - would have enjoyed that while the kids swam
Kids loved it
Not walking distance to town
It's more like a studio apartment than a hotel room.
Could use more mirrors .
Great staff, we really loved hotel employees. Breakfast was surprisingly good and the rooms were also solid. The shuttle service was also a nice bonus.
It's a strange location, and the bar situation is kind of weird. We also didn't get any lotion in our bathroom. That's about it!
The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly and made great suggestions for places to eat.
Large clean room, fast WiFi, great staff, large bathroom, big shower. Room very quiet, dark at night, very comfortable bed.
Nothing stands out.
Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff was excellent, room was great and even the breakfast was super. Will definitely stay again, and I am opening a Marriott card as a result of this wonderful experience.
Very nicely room everything looked new. Very comfortable.
No complaints at all.
location far from all commercial venue; had to order takeout (place recommended by hotel staff) and ended up waiting ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES for a pizza...NOT GOOD
Good location for my trip
Impossible to find at night. No lit sign on the road coming from the North.
the hotel is not worth the price
By no fault of the hotel.....very very loud neighbors.
Bed was very comfortable. Room was huge.
1) Door deadbolt didn't work (staff fixed it) 2) Shower leaked a lot (Staff provided towels in the morning) 3) Kids screaming across hall at 11pm. (Staff quieted the other guests after I complained) 4) No blackout curtains, southeast sun woke me at 5am
Location was excellent for our needs. Layout of room, cleanliness, candy and popcorn in room, extra pillows and blankets all very nice. Staff very nice, continental breakfast was very good.
There was construction going on in the hotel and there was a strong smell of paint in the room. Some noise at night as well.
Very clean room, looks very new. Beautiful kitchen, very nice gentleman at the desk. It is walking distance (during the day only) to one of the major hospitals in town.
Even though this hotel is only about 15 minutes from downtown, it gets into a very secluded part of town. There was inadequate parking near the front entrance and the lighting for the back lots felt inadequate; I was nervous about getting inside.
I've stayed at three other Residence Inn's (two in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota), and I thought that the one in Worcester would be similar. What I am used to, is a large room, one that is usually in separate buildings. By that, I mean that in the past, the rooms were usually located four to a building. They were basically mini-cottages for lack of a better word. But in Worcester, the rooms are simply hotel rooms. Granted, they do have the kitchen, and a small living area, but they do not compare to what I was used to and was expecting. I did look at the pictures before booking, and was confused about the layout, but decided to book the room anyway. There was nothing wrong with the room per se, but it simply wasn't like my other experiences with Residence Inns. I had ignorantly assumed that the mini-cottage layout was the norm. Just be aware of this.
Beside UofMa Medical Center & 3 blocks up from Quinsigamond Lake, just off Rte 290 & RTE 9 - perfect Worcester location. Bringing food for weekend regatta and needed a full size refrigerator & stove cooktop which the studio suite had (also, had pullout couch we could have used if needed). Set-up would be excellent for family staying in the area for a few days for a family function or for a long term hospital stay of a family member. Price could have been lower given the general pricing in the area but did only stay one night. Possibly better pricing available for longer stay?
