The setting was beautiful and I really liked the gym. The staff were all very friendly and the room was comfortable and well-designed. Thought it was very cheeky that you added £24 for breakfast that I didn't eat be 'default'. The reason I specifically took a room without breakfast is because I was going out for a meal with family nearby. Also it was very hard to reach reception by telephone - once I waited a full ten minutes.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was up market & stylish. You could have walked about in designer, formal or leisure wear and no-one would have batted an eye. 100% for cleanliness. The food was excellent and catered for all tastes.
Nice new stylish rooms, decent food Noise on Saturday night until 1am - avoid staying on Saturdays due to wedding receptions.
Staff were enthusiastic to help make our stay enjoyable New Hotel with a few teething problems, when all problems sorted out, this is a good hotel and I will definitely return The large ugly picture of a cow on bedroom wall (we covered this with a large bath towel) The safe was not secured to the wall (I could have carried this under my arm) For those that like bathroom privacy, the bathroom window into the bedroom may not be your thing Small wardrobe space to hang clothes for two people
Absolutely everything, the hotel staff were friendly, helpful, polite. The hotel itself is fantastic, the stay not long enough!!
Helpfulness and friendliness of staff of the staff I did not like the way the gentleman in the restaurant (we assumed the manager) barged in front of me to reprimand the duty hostess. We had observed her for at least 30 minutes and had commented to each other on the excellent job she was doing as the restaurant was becoming busier. Disappointed the cleaner was in our room as we returned from breakfast.
Everything it was wonderful could not fault it.
The hotel & rooms were beautiful. The pool was nice & clean. The location was lovely. I was not able to benefit fully from the use of the pool with my children due to time restrictions. I did not find the staff easy to talk to. The childrens menu for my stay was not available. I had a leaking tap in my room. I did not think paying an extra £40 for the tea/coffee & toiletries package was worthwhile.
we were only there for a very short night stay, so can not realistically comment.
the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Another option for dining would be nice as well as a place to get snacks after hours.
It was quite central an the staff seemed very friendly a minor issue was the smell in the bathroom of urine not strong but underlying could not fathom where it was coming from, as i say only minor would not stop me staying again
This was a fair all round hotel, we liked the location, breakfast was excellent, and we would stay again.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly Catering staff moody. Felt I was an inconvenience for being at breakfast. With the average age of 60, entertainment to match, I did feel that I was in an old peoples home though. Bathroom equiped for disabled, which lead to me being the butt of everyones jokes for booking it. Yes would recommend it, as long as you know you will feel like you are over 60. Very noisy music bar over road, kept awake until 4.15am by drunks passing
Excellent customer care and within easy reach of town. Hot water in sink not hot and the tiolet roll holder fell apart.
Easy to find, friendly staff, beautiful location Breakfest far from the best but the service was good
Excellent caring staff None
the staff made you feel welcome and were helpful with anything that i asked. enjoyable entertainment on the saturday evening. both my wife and i enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals. nothing really we were would go and stay again haven't read the guest reviews so cannot comment
Receptionist very welcoming
Just a good experience and value for money in February Car parking rather difficult when the hotel is more than 2 thirds full
We were very lucky to have an excellent room. Breakfast was also very good.
Newly redecorated room, new bed Difficult access to car park
Relaxed but professional attitude within hotel.Meals cooked perfect and whole establishment very clean and welcoming. It was a tad warm/hot but the weather is a bit hotter than usual for this time of the year.
I got a very warm welcome and my room was lovely. The breakfast was very good and I felt well looked after. The hotel was attractively furnished and appeared smart and well maintained. The Christmas decorations were lovely.
I rise early in the mornings & there was no hot water at 6:30 am.
cleanliness and decor of room top class.we had breakfast a full english which was first class plus a choice of cerials and fruit juices plus toast and a pot of tea all served by a very friendly staff.I would recommend this hotel and return in the future. Only downfall was a very narrow entrance too the carpark which was not suitable for anything bigger than something like a astra or like
The staff gave us a very warm welcome. The room was clean and very inviting. The jaccuzi was lovely Breakfast slot was only 9-9.30
The general behaviour of the staff was excellent, warmth in the greeting when we arrived and we simply loved our bedroom - fully fitted and so warm and inviting !
The rooms were very well appointed and a pleasant surprise after other guest houses we had previously stayed in.
Wonderful homely touches and delicious breakfast with lots of choice. The dining room was decorated beautifully with good service. Free wifi was very useful. The car park was a tight squeeze, with only room for 1 car per guest. But plenty of on street parking was available.
pleasant and welcoming, nice room, good breakfast and good location. the only thing that let them down was the standaed of the bedding, although clean was poor quality
The Beverley was an excellent place to stay. The Guest house was spotless, the breakfast was wonderful and the room was exceptional with very comfortable beds and it contained everything we needed. Derek and Linda were a very friendly and helpful couple making our stay so enjoyable. We would recommend this Guest House to anybody. The Beverley was far superior to some of the hotels we have stayed in. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
we had a family room and it was great! though there was 3 adults and 1 child. plenty of room!
Everythink, we went away for 24 rest bite and got it. Would recommend to anyone especially Bride and Bride groom to be. You must go and stay a night or just for the day to have alook round, before you book anythink you would require for a wedding I mean everythink. They have great Friendly staff nothing is to much trouble. This is for a Fairy Princess or just a relaxing hoiday/ break, Fab, Thank you I can not think of anything.
Poor choice of menu for dinner. Residents bar closed very early
Good breakfast Noise from toilet masticator
we were the only people staying in the hotel at the time the hotel wern't expecting us.they hadn't had any notification of us coming. the hotel catered mainly for weddings this was not explained in the hotel information if it had been we might not have gone there
Nice accommodation, good value and very helpful and professional staff. None
Excellent standard I seemed to be the only guest and the bar closed too early.
It was absolutely amazing I took my girlfriend here after I proposed. The staff were great and always willing to help us. The gardens were out of this world and I would highly recommend this place.
room was excellent clean and comfortable and trufles resturant was 10 out of 10
the receptionists were all so very helpful it was like a breath of fresh air.Even first thing in the morning.
Personalised service and flexible to customer preferences. Good knowledge of local area/attractions. None really.
All very good. Staff, Food, clenliness Limited Parking
We only had one night in Weston, but the room etc was very good for the money paid. Very pleasant people, helpful and welcoming.Good food reccomendation.Would certainly return.
Quiet close to the sea front and town centre The owner did not leave you to get on with breakfast, but stood watching you and constantly talked while you tried to eat! You have to order what you want for breakfast the night before!
First class hotel in every way ...especieally the friendliness of the owners ...will use again
very friendly --we felt welcome
The food was excellent and the staff were helpful at every turn You would probably need a car to stay here as Taxi's have to come from Bristol
Lovely room - spacious modern and clean Day we stayed was unseasonally cold - would have been good if heating in room had been turned on when the room was made up as the room wasnt even warm until the middle of the night due to the high ceiling :-(
Handy location for sightseeing around Somerset Over priced for a basic room without breakfast.
Modern, comfortable food. Very good, well above average pub grub. Charming, helpful staff Lack of working telephone in room - but staff let me use their phone in bar, with no charge
The room and all its facilities. The cleanliness, design and layout, the whole place was beautiful We felt that the staff were rushing us to have our meal to get cleaned up and the bar closed early at 10.50 without any notice. The menu was fabulous and we just wanted to enjoy it.
There are like individual little houses with private parking just in front of your room door. So you have to carry your luggage about 3 yards... I had to leave hotel at 5am. I didint have to waste my time checking out: just left the card in the room, in the car outside the door and gone. Interior is stylish, beautiful cosy bar in front. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
An excellent service, with first class accommodation and good food No
the room was beautiful and spacious on two floors.. It was a clean modern design which was highly stylish yet with an air of country comfort. The breakfast was served in the pub which was a really quaint traditional country inn. The receptionist stayed up until 2.30 to greet us as our plane was delayed. She was delightful.
Large, modern room. Beautifully finished. Simple and stylish. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. Large en-suite with amazing water pressure in a full-size shower. Lighting a little too subdued if you needed to work.
Excellent room and location. No hot water in the shower
Staff and very clean rooms
comfortable beds.excellant breakfast Bar expensive.Bathrooms no showers.limited hotel parking.
the cooked breakfast was lovely the views from our room and the hospitallity of the staff very frendly
i liked the comfort level and the ease of getting to the sea front (app3 minutes walk)
A good well run friendly hotel, good value for money.
Breakfast superb, staff in restaurant excellent Room very small, almost uncomfortable
The friendliness of the hotel staff as it was a return visit.
everything was how we like an hotel to be and the owner was perfect nothing
Comfortable room with pleasing view. Nice breakfasts. Absence of a lift. Sounds from adjacent room through walls.
Good location.superb food and service. None
The staff were brilliant; friendly and very helpful. The pool and sauna were lovely. The bathroom has seen better days and the shower (pressure) was very disappointing
The level of service is fantastic and they have put so much into the facilities
good breakfast and car park . to far from town .
The pool & Sauna, excellent food well presented, peaceful atmosphere, very comfortable.
swimming and surna were stunning
We only stayed at the Beachlands for one night but as soon as we saw our room we wished we were staying for longer. (Room 1). The decor was beautiful and it was really luxurious with a huge bed and wonderful en-suite. The whole of the hotel was immaculately presented and clean. The facilities which included a sauna and indoor pool were fantastic. The day that we stayed there was a wedding in the hotel garden followed by the evening reception but the staff made sure that we were looked after as if we were the only people in the hotel. All of the staff were extremely helpful and put themselves out to make us feel welcome. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but this to was excellent and comments from the wedding guests about their meal leaves me in no doubt as to the quality of the restaurant food. We are already looking forward to visiting again soon and would recommend the hotel to anyone. In fact we already have!!!!!!
Excellent hotel, lived up to its reviews, food excellent, if a little limited.Staff could not be more helpfull, room was excellent well fitted out, and very clean. Bed was a little hard for our taste, but this was our only issue.
Nothing was too much bother for the staff and food was excellent N/A
It was very relaxing
the staff were fantastic, seaveiw was a bonus.also manager listened to comments about hotel. needs updateing also windows needed cleaning, strange to have carpet in bathroom . matress needed changing .
Nothing No facilities for evening meal - arrived at 8.20pm, Bedroom was dirty - much in the hollows of radiator, thick muck on skirting boards in the bathroom, scum from shower on brown floor, bedding dated back to the 70's and look as thought the life had been washed out. Stains on the carpets.
Friendly and resonsive staff; good range of food at breakfast and prompt service behind the bar; excellent sea views from the window Would have prefered a bath to a shower
Food and Bar were excellent Mattresses too hard
Very helpful and polite staff. Outstanding view. Very well presented hotel. Quite expensive but fair value.
Room 7- lovely view. After having asked the receptionist about where to go at night, they failed to imform us that the front door would be locked from 12pm!! My partner had to climb onto our balcony at 1.30am as there was no night staff on at all to let us in.our room was run down and dirty.
The lift that was used to get to the bedroom was so small and felt like it would stop working as soon as it started. The bedroom itself was in need of dire refurbisment and the shower was a no-go (not so much dirty but that you just didn't fancy taking a shower in it.) The tray with the refreshments was dirty along with the cup still having dirt marks and the teapot still having some tea in it. Also there was hairs in the bed. The room was refused and I was given another (the only trouble with this new room was the fact that the window would never shut properly.) Breakfast was a case of 'pick what you could get and go' with some staff not being very helpfull.
Comfortable atmosphere; views from hotel No real ale!
The staff were what I call 'the extra mile people' their service went beyond the ordinary requirements
Proximity to the sea Breakfast was too late for us to partake
