Pros: The staff were extremely helpful when I had a small health issue, obtaining the necessary remedy for me.
Cons: Nothing to mention
Cons: Location location location
Pros: Close to the airport, so in that sense convenient. Also only a short bus ride to the very picturesque Iwakuni Castle, the beautiful Kintai Bridge, and some lovely gardens.
Cons: First room provided was too small for 2 people, not the double we expected. Upgraded at significant cost to a twin, which was OK.
Pros: Staff was great very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Cons: I like everything
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
It is an European resort hotel located on the south Seto Island Sea, with a full view of whiet beach. Guests can enjoy activities such as marine sports, tennis, picking fruits, hot spring swimming pool. Please taste combination of French and Japanese meal.
Pros: near beach and well landscape
Pros: The beach is gorgeous, clean, and right out the back door!
Pros: The hotel is clean and modern, with a tropical feel. We were surprised at how nice the beach was - just in front of the hotel and the sea was clean. And after the beach, we went to swim in the pool. Great for children as pool is only 1.2 meters deep. In the evening the hotel lent us a bucket and lighter so we could do small fireworks on the beach. The food was a bit pricey but beautifully presented (we had pre-ordered the dinner). Extremely friendly and efficient staff. The window had a mosquito net and it was nice to be able to open the window at night.
Cons: The third bed was a sofa bed which was a bit hard to sleep on. So depends on what your preference is. Other beds were fine.
Pros: Breakfast was good
Pros: The room was spacious and the balcony had a beach view.

Pros: It’s the only place to stay in Iwakuni!!! You get a true Japanese experience, great 8 course dinner, good morning breakfast, hot spring baths or just have your bath in your own private bathroom. We chose a Japanese room and loved having the open room during the day and the futon bedding set down for us at night. Its are right next to the Kintaikyo Bridge, looking towards the Iwakuni Castle.
Cons: The bathroom is small but very clean.
Pros: The onsen facility, its accessibility and free parking
Cons: The room needs refurbishing.
Pros: The attention to detail at this hotel is outstanding! Comfortable yukatas( summer cotton robes), cozy bed comforters, the best breakfast buffet in Iwakuni, view of the Kintai Bridge, efficient, friendly professional staff, and an onsen (Japanese hot bath) made this stay an enjoyable retreat of relaxation! The dining options were outstanding as well with local sushi set meals with fresh vegetables as well as a tasty Chinese restaurant with delicious seafood soup with noodles! This is an excellent hotel and I will return with family and friends.
Cons: Bed was quite firm but normal for Japanese style. The hotel is an older establishment so guests that are seeking a sleek modern hotel may want to consider a different choice.
Pros: Beautiful view of Kintaikyo bridge. Walkable area but not too many dining options in the area.
Pros: Awesome location across from river md the Kintaikyo bridge. Very mystical look in the rain with low clouds. Had a Great curry And rice lunch in lobby restaurant that was cheap and really tasty...with a beer of course! Staff was unbelievably awesome and professional. They have hot natural baths upstairs but I did not go. One other person at hotel did it was unbelievable...next I will go!! Price for room was really cheap. Very cool old school and modern feel to hotel. Highly recommend!!
Cons: Beds of course could’ve have been a little more comfy but most beds I’m finding are pretty hard wherever u go.
Pros: In a great position overlooking the bridge. Our room was huge. Great soaking tub with a view.
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food in the hotel was good for breakfast (included in our booking) and excellent for dinner, though a bit pricey if you are a budget traveller. The highlight of our stay was the onsen. A good, hot soak after walking over beautiful, historic Kintaikyo Bridge is worth the stay.
Cons: We realize the peak season for Iwakuni is Cherry Blossom season in late March, early April. All of the local shops in the “Old Town” would, no doubt, be open and the streets would be buzzing. We were there in late spring, early summer, so many of the shops were closed up. It was no big deal, we didnʻt travel to shop, and the benefit of “off season” travel is that you have the place to yourself.
Pros: The location overlooking the river and bridge and the amazing rotenburo!
Cons: The food was very expensive.
With a stay at Hotel Trend Iwakuni in Iwakuni, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Kintaikyo Bridge and Setonaikai National Park. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff was great. It is close to Iwakuni station, but relatively far from the touristic places of the city.
Cons: Fitted carpet looks dirty, with stains, at room and corridors. The rest of the room, including bathroom, was clean.
Pros: Japanese style breakfast buffet was great value for money and delicious.
Pros: I love breakfast, and staff really nice. Eventhough my Japanese is not good, but you guys take and effort and take care of me and my team. Please keep it up!
Cons: I know it's smoking room, and nothing I can complain about this. But if, in near future, you can deal with the smell in the room, I guess this will be the greatest hotel.
Pros: Hotel Trend Iwakuni is a nice place. HTI is short walk from the Iwakuni Train Station and “Yellow Brick” business area where there are many Restaurants. Two convenience stores are nearby as well. HTI staff were always on hand waiting to assist with requests and always smiling.
Cons: The lavatory was small, toilet and tub/ shower in same room. Not much room for a 6 foot tall, slim person. But the rest of the single room was nice. Wifi was hit and miss.
Pros: Close to shopping
Cons: Had two rooms, one was very small. The other was very roomy.

Room is tiny by American standards but very clean. Bathroom has a deep soaking tub. Liquid soap and shampoo are provided as well as toothbrush and paste and disposable razor. Water boiler for tea or instant coffee is also in the room. LCD TV shows local broadcast.
Cons: The only problem I had was connecting to the internet. It is Not WiFi nor USB. It is LAN connection so if you want to us your laptop you will need a LAN to USB converter. Also, if you have never used your email accounts in Japan you may have trouble logging in unless you have a way to verify your account. I finally managed to get mine working by using my mobile phone number to get a verification code texted to me.
