Pros: I LOVED everything! I even stayed an extra night. It’s modern, fresh, clean, practical, functional and yet classy and homey with lovely little touches everywhere. I just loved my room! Even though I don’t speak Spanish the staff and I could communicate well. This place is very good value for money. I only left this morning but I’ve already recommended it to 3 different people. I wish the owners all the very best for the future and I feel honoured to have stayed there.
Cons: Can’t think of anything!
Pros: Staff were friendly. Was very close to bus station and border which was helpful.
Cons: When we arrived we were told that our name wasn't anywhere under their bookings despite booking it on here, luckily they had some rooms still free anyway. Heater in room wasn't great though so was quite a cold night.
Pros: The hostel is close to the bus station meaning a short walk after a very long bus journey. It’s run by a very friendly and welcoming family who gave us information on how to get to the border and how to cross.
Cons: Nothing- all good!
Pros: Wonderful hostal! Excellent staff, impeccably clean, comfortable beds, very reasonable breakfast and perfect location - short walk from bus terminal and short walk to the border crossing. Excellent value. One of the best we've stayed at.
Cons: Nothing - this hostal is brilliant, highly recommended!
Pros: Beautiful hostel in a great little border town. Worth spending a few days in La Quiaca resting and exploring if you need to adjust to the altitude. The hostel presents as a brand new, clean and well-maintained hostel. Beautiful decor. The twin room was spacious enough with tv, heater and wardrobe with extra blankets. Good kitchen and gender separated bathrooms. Breakfast was toasted pan with butter and dulce de leche, a glass of orange juice and a choice of coffee\tea. The municipal markets are just across the road for a comida, fresh fruit & vege or a souvenir, and the hostel is a short walk and easy to find from the bus station with a Google map.
Cons: I possibly overpaid which was my own fault for helping out another traveller. I moved from my single room into a twin share room, paying the same amount for the single room, to enable another traveller to afford to stay the night by sharing the room with me. The women's bathroom doors are frosted glass. If you are using the bathroom at night, be aware you can be seen through the glass outside of the bathrooms when the light is on. Choose your shower stall wisely!
Pros: Great little border stop from Bolivia - bed was super comfy, shower was great and hot, breakfast was basic but good.
Cons: The heater didn’t work! We were warm enough in the end
Pros: Nice, clean room with a comfortable bed. The room was very warm, and the shared bathrooms are spotlessly clean with excellent showers. We had a good breakfast, including coffee, fresh juice, and pastries. The hostel is a two minute walk from the centre of town and only a 10 minute walk from the border. Ideal for a one night stay before we crossed into Bolivia.
Pros: This place had the ‘wow’ factor from the moment we walked through the front door. Decor was particularly good. Spotlessly clean. Room was heated. We would liked to have stayed longer. Great value accommodation
Cons: The run to the toilets on a winters night
Pros: The room was very nice and spaceous, good location, easily walkable from terminal and border
Cons: The bathroom was ice cold in the morning
Pros: Beautiful new facility. Everything is new and exceptional clean. We enjoyed the stay. It is very close to the bolder to Bolivia,15 minutes walk.
Cons: Breakfast was delayed for 30 minutes so we had to go for a day without food.
