Cons: I can not say anything we didn't like.
Pros: Terri and Sophie are warm generous hosts and very easy to talk with. We shared a drink on their verandah before my husband and I went out for dinner. Breakfast was superb. Crepes and other home made treats. Delicious. The bed was very comfortable. A welcome surprise after we had spent three weeks in Spain and Portugal on very hard beds. The location of the home is great. Very quiet yet so close to the lake and the beaches. Would stay here again.
Pros: The home is situated in a delightful garden with a pool. The hosts, Sophie and Thierry, are engaging and very helpful. As we are cyclists, they informed us of a better route to cycle to Bordeaux which turned out to be a great decision. The breakfast is so generous and generally home made, from crepes, grandma's "French" bread, apple tarts, jams, we were overwhelmed.
Cons: This place is the perfect bed and breakfast, if you prefer to stay in a hotel with no interaction with the local people, then this is not the place for you. After spending a month travelling in Spain and France, it was great to be able to ask questions which Sophie is more than happy to answer.
Pros: Amazing! Spacious, extremely warm welcoming. Completely felt at home the entire stay. Best evening spent with the host and had THE best breakfast (all homemade, including wafers, crepes, bread and all kinds of jams and so much more) of our 35 days trip!
Pros: We spent there 3 nights and everything was perfect. The room was very big and clean. The breakfasts were fantastic, with homemade crepes and everyday it was different. Thanks to Sophie and her husband for such a nice stay.
Pros: I liked everything. The hosts were delightful, friendly, helpful & welcoming. The room & bathroom - clean, spacious & cosy. The breakfast was incredible. It was extensive & so beautifully presented. My dogs were made welcome & accomdated with affection. I did not have much time but would love to visit again as the area looked like it had lots to offer - cycling & plenty of walks.
Cons: My limited time to explore!
Pros: Sophie and Thierry are truly wonderful and welcoming hosts, I have never felt so awaited when coming to complete strangers! We arrived at almost 10 pm and as we could not buy anything on the way Sophie and Thierry made us a royal supper! We had the whole floor for our disposal, we could've also used the garden whenever we needed which is great with kids. The rooms are nice and cosy, decorated with soul, much better than at the pictures. And our sons were super happy with two big buckets of Lego waiting in the room! I can't even describe the breakfast which was huge and delicious! Crepes, croissants, pancakes, cake, sweet cookies, milk, fruits, yoghurt, cereals, everything you could wish for! And Sophie is an excellent cook - half of the things were made by herself. If we ever come around again we have to stay at Casa Roupit - this is the only and best place! Feels like family there :)
Pros: Sophie and Thierry are very friendly, very helpful and very generous hosts. The rooms are very spacious and clean. After a long bike ride it was a great pleasure to enjoy a few cold drinks under the trees in the garden. And for our breakfast Sophie made pancakes that were delicious.
Pros: Sophie and Therrie were excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed their company. They shared their home with my family and I, and were so kind and really lovely people.

Cons: The shower could be higher so that I did not have to hold it with one hand. No non slip bath mat in the bath, slippy bath surface for older people.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of items and the breakfast room was most pleasant.
Pros: All rooms on ground floor, no stairs or lifts involved. It was quiet.
Cons: But disappointed about range of food available ... given the location I was hoping for some fish ... but having said that, my dinner salad was delicious and generous .
Pros: Friendly, helpfull staff and comfortable room.
Cons: WiFi poor.
Pros: Very nice food
Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Pros: Parking and food
Cons: No Wi-Fi in room
Pros: Useful hotel for breaking journey south of Bordeaux. 6km off the motorway Decent restaurant at hotel. Breakfast fairly basic but okay
Cons: Room was quite musty smelling. Could do with an airing
Pros: Friendliness of staff. Proximity to motorway. Good restaurant.

Pros: Very cosy hotel.. great personal and great breakfast
Cons: perhaps room need to be a little bit renovate
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely little village, hotel and restaurant was very nice, would return at another date.
Cons: Not the best for vegetarians, but then neither is France.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Evening meal good.
Cons: Our booking was lost and it took a while to check in, although there were plenty of free rooms. I would not have been happy if the hotel had been full. Wifi slow and unreliable. Shower half broken, i.e. it worked but not properly. It seemed like end of season maintenance was necessary.
Pros: Welcoming staff, great food and drink, relaxing environment, comfortable bed, very good bathroom.
Pros: Cosy and friendly environment. Staff are very helpful and location is great for us, halfway between our homes in Spain and England. The bedroom was comfortable for one night, although bed side lights were broken and the room smelt a little damp. This was our second overnight stay.
Cons: As previously mentioned bedroom maintenance was poor, room smelt damp on arrival. Would have liked a translation in English for the menu, as we did not understand what we were ordering!
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed Sunday evening and Monday evening
Pros: Very typical French family run hotel. Enjoyed a very good meal with local produce such as foie gras and Charollais beef. Good value food and wine. The hotel is in a lovely little French town, in a quiet street, with many local shops, bars and restaurants. There was a small market in the morning. Lovely church with bells (but not all night!). Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room with good shutters and excellent hot shower.
Cons: Couldn't get AC to work but it wasn't too hot so not a problem for us. Room was a little dark, as was the corridor upstairs, with very dated wallpaper and furnishings, but this is what we like about French hotels.
Pros: A good price in an excellent location with a comfortable room and nice service. The location is excellent with lots of restaurants and bars in the centre of town. A very agreeable place to pass an evening.
Pros: Good location. Limited other choices. Really is restaurant with a few rooms.
Cons: Broken air con, room was dirty. Multiple insect bites. Unsure if bed bugs or mosquitoes
