Pros: Exceptional friendliness of host - beautiful large bedroom - location is quite special - we had an hour's walk along the leafy canal before supper. I know that wasn't strictly speaking the host's doing, nor was the fine weather - but she did encourage us to explore a place she obviously loves.
Cons: Counsel of perfection - if you're serving coffee for breakfast a cafetière of ground coffee would have been welcome.

Pros: Excellent B&B, lovely quiet location, scenic with horses on land. Val greeted us by name as we arrived and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, super host. Hearty english breakfast cooked to order, one of best we’ve tasted. Lovely walk from there down to river and canal. We were staying couple of nights to attend a wedding and Val organised us a taxi, nothing too much trouble. Night before wedding Val recommended ‘Half Way House’ nearby restaurant, 5 min walk away, been newly furbished, excellent food. Wedding venue at ‘The Old Barn’ amazing too, so has been an enjoyable memorable weekend for us. Thank you to all.

Pros: Friendly, clean, lovely large room, comfy beds, powerful shower, great breakfast
Cons: I would have liked the water bottle in our room filled with fresh water on the second day

Pros: Staff and location superb. Restaurant in hotel outstanding. Food best meal I've had so far in UK.
Cons: Room a little dated and curtains had tears in them
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, huge room, clean!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was upgraded from standard to premium, so can only comment on premium room, which was excellent. Staff were all lovely and helpful Breakfast was good, plenty of room, plenty of friendly staff. Ideal location for me as next door to train station where I travelled to/from and right next to the town centre - and a 10 min walk to the football ground where I went. Wi-Fi was good in the room. Interior of hotel was lovely and characterful.
Cons: Website description of rooms is lacking - especially the bathrooms. The only info for "room facilities" on the website was "toilet paper" and "Wi-Fi" which was bizzarre! The pictures for standard rooms were poor - 2 of beds,, 2 of the same half a sink. Need to know whether bath of shower, whether toiletries supplied or not etc. and better pics. Also not clear that all rooms are en-suite. The signage in the hotel to the room (222) was awful - the numbering is illogical and very confusing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money Good location lovely Victorian hotel with great bedrooms and public areas good sized bathroom
Cons: tinned tomatoes at breakfast no real ale in bar

7.3 Good
Pros: This is one of the finest hotes I've stayed in. It is very grand with a wonderful feeling of luxury and tradition. The interior, including the sweeping staircase looks stunning, like something from a bygone era. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as being extremely professional in their service standards. The room I stayed in was very good and was immaculately clean, as well as being very comfortable. I had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and I have to say, both the service and the quality of the food was top class. It has a central Bradford location which was ideal I was visiting the nearby Alhambra Theatre. Although I was only there for an overnight stay, I would definately recommend the Midland Hotel.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: We had two rooms booked.1 room was ok,but the other was very small, with a fridge that wasnt working, and had water in the bottom.we needed a fridge for my sons girlfriends medication,as she has to take it at diffrent time in the night.we had to put the medication in our fridge, which ended up with us not sleeping very well.As we were with a wedding party,we checked in but didnt find the problems with the room till very late.the next morning i had a word with the man at reception,i asked him to tell the manager, and that i would be back after breakfast to see what he said.I dont for 1 second think he even told the manager, and when i went to check out he just said we should of said last night.he never said sorry either.

Cons:
7.6 Good
Pros: The lovely large airy rooms and all the majestic qualities of staying in a grand Victorian hotel.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The greetings from the reception staff on our arrival, the bar man in the lounge was great to talk to and made the best salmon and cream cheese sandwich. They were polite and were just willing to help you whenever they can. Totally recommended!!
Cons: The staff made the place in my opinion and the rooms were clean and comfortable - I do think that some 'touch up' on decor due to wear and tear is needed but that is not what we were there for.

Pros: Massive room including a lovely bathroom and the continental breakfast was lovely

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Mandy in charge of breakfast made our experience wonderful.
Cons: So many stairs to climb to our bedroom
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean and modern. Check-in was easy enough. I’ve never stayed at an “ inn” so didn’t realize checking in would mean at the bar. It was pretty seamless from there.
Cons: The waitress who checked us in confirmed we had air conditioning, being the hottest day on record in Leeds—once in the room, air conditioning meant a tiny fan. It was extremely hot and over a pub so the drunk chatter was a bit annoying—the tiny fan drowned out some of that.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. Views were fabulous. Comfy beds and spacious master bedroom. Lovely fluffy towels and good quality bed linen.
Cons: Condensation problems particularly in the front bedroom. Central heating system needs attention. Shower needs upgrade.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location in Wetherby centre. Beautiful views over the river. Huge master bedroom with loads of storage space. Great space for 2, but 3 adults found it a bit of a squeeze sharing one toilet and bathroom.
Cons: Electric shower is not powerful enough. Parking is a pain, of the recommended car parks, 1 had 2 hour and the other had 45 minute max stays so we were lucky not to get a parking ticket on the first night and then had to find onstreet parking. Master bed mattress needs replacing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location 2 minute walk to wetherby town 5 minute drive to wetherby racecourse and 30min drive to york very cosy and gr8 views of river at back of cottage
Cons: Nothing everything was as described
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location. 3 minutes walk to the centre of Wetherby. Didn't meet the owners but they kept in touch and access to the property is by a door code which was very convenient. They had an A-Z guide folder with plenty of information. Nice touches were a welcome message on a chalkboard and "A recommended day by the owners". The photos on the ad are a good representation of the cottage. Also, we brought coffee/tea supplies but they were already provided.
Cons: The shower could have been a bit stronger but not a deal breaker. Otherwise very little to fault this lovely cottage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely cottage had everything we needed...perfectly located as well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely views
Cons: Just the parking, nothing can be done to improve it but once we had found a parking spot round the corner (near Sainsbury’s) it was fine
6.8 Good
Pros: Very convenient for town and great view over river and playing fields
Cons: Close to road with on road parking short distance away. Poor shower over bath
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Cottage was pretty much perfect for us in every way. The Kitchen had all you would want for a 2 night break, the sitting room and terrace had great views out over the river and would have been great to sit out at had the weather been kinder. The 2 bedrooms were large and comfortable enough, along with enough space for storage of suits and the like, with the back bedroom having incredible views out over the river and beyond due to the large windows. The bathroom was quite small and the shower played games of hot/cold with you, but wasn't really an issue. The Chalk Board message on arrival was a lovely personalised touch.... Thank you...
Cons: The Yorkshire weather, but alas our hosts may be good, but i don't think their powers go that far... ;-)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A little difficult to operate key code
Cons: Not a big deal but we missed not having a teapot
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely views
Cons: No parking at property

Cons: Key took 5-6 swipes to work each time. Tv channels not obvious to find, alternating radio 3 and bbc 1 took a while. One night some guests were noisy, but not the fault of the hotel!

Cons: I don’t like coffee but tea was ggod
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful
Cons: I thought the bathroom could do with a make over and the lighting in there was dark
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location; easy to find, park etc. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were good.
Cons: There was a school/ foreign children's party visiting; all the children had rooms (I'd say they were about 12/ 13 yrs of age at most. Their behaviour was appalling; storming the lifts and unsupervised. This wasn't Jury's Inn staff's fault although I do think they could have reminded the party leaders about a few expectations, including that there were other guests in the hotel ... being quiet and not running around on corridors etc. I stress - this was not the hotel staff's fault at all but perhaps better checks could be done on ensuring an adult was present in every room booked - this was not the case - I watched reception issuing key cards to every child in the party.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My bed slept really well
Cons: I liked every thing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Close to the theatre.
Cons: Paid for a superior room but to be honest there was nothing superior about it at all. The extras you really are paying for are what you would get in most hotels in their room rate, except for 1 free Costa coffee!
9.3 Excellent

Cons: The shower. Very little power

Cons: Everything was fine, no real problems
4.3 Okay
Pros: Starter was ok - main course - no mint sauce with lamb - sweet served in a chipped glass with shards of glass in the food. Offered me 10% off but should have had that anyway as in so called "superior room
Cons: Should have been a superior room but was not. Had disabled bathroom which is functional but not superior. Meal - see above - Breakfast was cold and everything nearly empty despite being 8:30. Tea was hot water from machine They say parking available but do not say its an NCP Think this is the last time I stay at a Jurys Inn

Pros: The hotel was great value for money and the service I received from the host was brilliant. I arrived after the check in time and the host made other arrangements for me to check in. I actually had an interview the next day and the host was even kind enough to provide me with a pair of socks as I had forgotten them on the eve of a job interview. I can’t emphasise enough how good the service was and how kind the host was, would recommend anyone to stay here as the value for money was very good as well
