Cons: Need newer washer and dryers in laundromat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was awesome! Clean, well-stocked and roomy. It was such a comfortable living space. Also liked the responsive actions by the staff when we asked for or about something. I definitely would book the suite again.
Cons: The bathroom in the disability suite was not very user friendly. It was difficult to maneuver a wheelchair in it and the hand held shower head was impossible to turn on for someone in a wheelchair because the controls for it were on the top of the stationary showerhead. The smallness of the bathroom made it difficult to use the toilet or the sink and the problem with the showerhead made it difficult to take a shower for someone in a wheelchair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Michael was very courteous and professional while welcoming us at checkin. My wife loved the cozy cabin-like space, and our 2 year old daughter enjoyed the playground out back plus the deer & elk walking around nearby at dusk. Dad loved the close proximity to Yellowstone’s North Entrance and the market with fresh local organic produce across the street.
Cons: Nothing negative to report.

Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone - West Yellowstone - Building
4
9.1 Excellent (404 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Explorer Cabins At Yellowstone in West Yellowstone, you'll be just steps from Gallatin National Forest and 15 minutes by foot from Yellowstone Park West Entrance. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved how close it was to Yellowstone park, extra museums and family friendly activities within walking distance as well as food. The cabin was wonderfully set up for you, felt like home, lovely finishes and spacious. The hotel offered swimming and free laundry for us cabin folk too! Not to forget the lovely Ms. Mary offering refreshments to all and lawn games to interest everyone. S’mores was a sweet welcome treat around the conveniently located fire pits. Can’t say enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary our guess relation was the greatest. Codos to Mary. Thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This cottage is well furnished, with TV, iron board, hair dryer, and kitchenware (even coffee machine). In the living room there is an indoor fireplace that is electronically controlled. What I love most is that you can find a binoculars hanging on the wall in the living room. Take it with you before heading to Yellowstone National Park. Also I want to give credit to their great service. We asked for an extra set of bedding at front desk and they deliver it to our room!
Cons: Overall I love this place very much if there’s anything I did’t like, it only has one bathroom and we five people had to share it. It took at least one hour for us to take a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place! And good locations. Though it is very expensive, we all think it is worthy !
Cons: Price:)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The king size bed was great! We enjoyed the fire pit and free snore ingredients.
Cons: The living room space was pretty small. There wasn’t enough space for 5 people.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the cabin privacy.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cozy cabin, located away from the main road so it was quiet but close enough to walk to main attractions...extras like s'mores and campfire were a bonus though we didn't get to use it. The staff was excellent, friendly, professional and helpful.
Cons: I found it expensive for a one bedroom small cabin in a small town with not much going on. My guests were from Australia with only one night/one full day at Yellowstone so I wanted them to experience the Western atmosphere and I opted for two cabins but we didn't get to spend any time in the cabins and didn't really have time to enjoy the s'mores/campfire feature arriving late in the afternoon on a snowy day in June and leaving early in the morning the next day to visit the park.
6.2 Good
Pros: Great location. Very close to Yellowstone west entrance.
Cons: We booked a 2 room cabin and pre-paid. I called a couple of days before our trip and was told they overbooked the cabins and moved us to the hotel instead. The hotel is less expensive than the cabin. I would have been less upset if they had been proactive and called me about the switch. The manager told me it wasn’t his fault that I booked with a third party and blamed Kayak for overbooking. They refunded us and put us in a smaller cabin. We will not stay here again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, amenities, fire pits/s’mores, kitchen
Cons: Little bit pricey
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The campfire and the service, including offering games!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Practical location close to entrance of yellowstone, shops and restaurants. Small friendly green oasis in the town. Creates an outdoor atmosphere with all the practicallities of a small city. Daily campfire with marshmellows.
Cons: Only toilet in the bathroom which is not ideal with 5 persons. No table to eat on. Only kitchenware for 3-4 persons.

Pros: unlimited breakfast coffee, adorable and clean room, very close to town, friendly staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and updated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No air conditioning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We rented the Superior Chalet, which looked nice in the photos online. However the photos don't do it justice. The chalet is very spacious and clean as well as furnished with little extras to make visitors feel welcome. This was the best rental we have ever stayed in. Loved it!
Cons: There was a mix up with out reservation (We were double booked) and got charged with an extra fee but it was handled well.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, notably your Polish seasonal worker. Clean and very comfortable room.
Cons: However, very expensive for what you get. One would expect at least a decent breakfast a night and advertising a park view only works for a few rooms, not the others. There are no facilities there so it’s really an overpriced motel and not a hotel, don’t be fooled by the pics.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great!
Cons: Bathroom shower curtain smelled moldy. Breakfast was way too crowded and not enough options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A pleasant surprise for a small town.
Cons: Breakfast earlier and perhaps dry cereal.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was new and comfortable.
Cons: Price.
WorldMark West Yellowstone - West Yellowstone - Building
7
8.8 Excellent (479 reviews)
Overview Reviews
WorldMark West Yellowstone is located one block from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park - a top tourist destination since its opening in 1872. Enjoy nature and wildlife watching. Known for its geothermal activity, sights like boiling mud, the towering geyser of Old Faithful and unworldly mineral formations at Mammoth Hot Springs are some of the most popular. Other highlights include The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Museum of the Yellowstone and eclectic shopping at Homeroom at Madison Crossing. In warm weather, visitors explore on foot, by car, four wheeler, horseback, or mountain bike. In the winter, snowmobiles and snowshoes are essential. WorldMark West Yellowstone features spacious one- and two-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep four to six guests and include a king bed in the master, one queen or two twin beds in the guest room and a queen Murphy bed in the living area. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, separate dining/living areas, a cozy fireplace for chilly nights and TVs throughout are comforts that would be hard to find in an average hotel. The world's first national park is more than just a place - it's a symbol of respect for the bountiful land that made our nation possible. At 3,472 miles across three states, it's bigger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined! Wildlife watching in Lamar Valley is another famous pastime, as the park teems with grizzly bears, soaring eagles, packs of wolves and herds of bison and elk.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Staff was very friendly & helpful
Cons: Pool too cold & spa gave us skin irritations! November is bad time to go ! All is closed in town , Park is closed even in North Entrance !! RCI told us it was open !! It snowed almost every day, too cold for outdoor activities ! we wasted 6 h driving for nothing !! Very dissatisfied with our stay !!

7.5 Good
Pros: Liked the full kitchen and the room was more modern than we expected- nice size unit. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows.
Cons: Pretty expensive for the time of year (December) but the nicest place we could find locally.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was exceptionally clean and was better than the websites pictures. The beds were comfy and the location was perfect since we went to snowmobile. The view from the back was amazing and we will definitely stay here again!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A pleasant stay - a bit more corporate and less cozy feeling than where we stayed in Gardiner, but nicely decorated and well equipped. It's a rather massive property. Beautiful central lobby. We didn't use any of the facilities, really, since we were just there for the park and dined out. Though we dined out, I appreciated the novelty of actually having some spice packets provided in the kitchen. :-) The gas fireplace in room was a nice touch, especially with snow still piled outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was off season, so the price was fine, but isn't worth it if it was high season.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and it was wonderful to have a laundry . The hotel was well located. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: We appreciated the staff's willingness to accommodate our last minute request for a handicap accessible room. It was excellent!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, giving details of the area and area restaurants. Loved the marshmallow roast at night! The beds were comfortable and we all really liked the Bath and Body Works soaps, lotions, shampoo and conditioner. Definitely would stay again.
Cons: There was really nothing we didn't like, aside from wishing it was slightly cheaper to stay.

Right across the street form the wolf and Grizzly refuge was a bonus. Nice continental breakfast. Loved the free evening s'mores and firepit.

Pros: The Hotel is conveniently located outside of Yellowstone national park, gives easy access to the park. for people driving a tesla, there is a tesla supercharger right outside. And all the West Yellow Stone facilities are easily accessible. The staff is friendly
Cons: For the price that we paid, the facilities were very basic. The hotel was fully booked and we did secure the last couple of rooms, so that was a factor. However a) there were no connecting rooms for families (we did get adjacent rooms, to their credit), b) the bath rooms were dirty (not unusable, but there were stains from past stays behind the pot, and generally not clean. c) the inroom coffee etc replacement was not consistent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast , loved the decor & The little wolf on the bed!! Was very comfortable and clean. Loved that the room had a sink outside of the main bath area, esp. for 2 girls! Was very quiet also. Also loved that you had walking sticks and binoculars to use and bikes!!!!!
Cons: the price..
6.8 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. good location just outside of National Park.
Cons: It took two requests to staff to get the TV working. Poor noise insulation between rooms. Sounded like a heard of Bison in room above us and request to reception to ask for a bit of quite had no effect.
6.0 Good
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to Yellowstone.
Cons: This hotel was adequate, but the price for the room and continental breakfast was not worth it.
7.5 Good
Pros: I we like the location! 2 min from the Yellowstone west gate. Also on our walk outside, a yang man( hotel staff )on a golf cart was offering my kids free ice cream! What make my kids very happy
Cons: When we check in the girl at the from desk was not friendly at all. She was on the phone when we entering the hotel. She saw us didn’t say nothing and she answered couple more calls even though we were by her desk and waiting. She won’t tell nothing about breakfast hours, pool hours or check out. I wish I could remember her name !

Pros: Great stay!
7.0 Good
Pros: The experience was unique and special and definitely worth doing. An easy to find and well-signed location was a bonus as was the comfortable bed.
Cons: They don't sell mosquito repellant. Although I understand the staff are college students on vacation only some were good, quite a few were pretty slack and unhelpful. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place to stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent on all fronts! King size bed the softest we have had on our trip so far!
4.3 Okay
Pros: The location is great for star gazing. The bed was comfortable. That’s ALL I can say that’s positive.
Cons: The bathrooms were 50 yards away. The main lobby was 100 yards away. Wood stoves are smoky. Tents are close together. The place is poorly managed, with terrible service and bad food. College aged kids constantly driving around golf carts and blaring music make a peaceful rest impossible. The dining room was dirty. The bathrooms out of towels. There’s plenty of staff hanging around, but they’re not doing much.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really good and the rooms were clean.
Cons: It was really cold at night. We thought there would be showers inside the room but you have to go outside to get to the showers.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Tents are standard for Under Canvas and a great setup Food was good Movie tent for the kids was cool The river attached is great
Cons: Shower plumbing- tray filled up Sealing of canvas tent in various places Not sure why teh configuration of tents and access road dont maximise the views on both sides- Why the road isnt in the spine with tents outside. The new dining/rec tent will be a good addition
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved every part of this booking. The atmosphere was absolutely unforgettable, a camp of tents with a lodge and restaurant very close by! The reception tent provided S’mores by the fire. The staff was courteous and caring . The food was of very good quality, we even got boxed lunches for the day at Yellowstone! Highly recommend this for every type of getaway!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The staff were inflexible
7.0 Good
Pros: Liked the private bathroom/shower. Room was clean. Bed was comfy and the wood stove was nice until pellets burned out. Wifi worked well and had good cell coverage. Food was good at the lodge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of activities for groups and family. Grounds were very well kept.
Cons: Very pricey. Golf cart battery died on way to tent so we walked the rest of the way. Pellet stove was started early in the evening and therefore it died about 3 AM. Could wait to start until temp begins to fall and it would last through the night. No place to dispose of wood pellet ash. Did not like ordering at the lodge before being seated. Took 3 trips to through the line and 3 transactions for our group to order between drinks, appetizers and meal.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was awesome. The bed in the tent is nice and comfortable. Everything is adequate to the camp, suitable for family with different ages to experience camping. Beautiful sunrise and sunset there, we could also see the fox and beautiful birds around. People there is friendly as well. We really enjoy the place.

Pros: This was a fantastic find - good value for money. Campsites in park were full, and this was the next best thing. My fist time staying in a hostel, and I loved it. Clean, relaxed, and comfortable.
Cons: You could hear everything in the rooms next to you, so it could be a little hard if you are a light sleeper.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Just next to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The shower room is clean and the room is nice. The room has a faucet itself so that you can brush your teeth in your room. The drinks and coffee available all the time were very nice.
Cons: We were given a room next to the second-level porch and it's right above the cashier desk of the store downstairs. It's noisy. The room could be a little bigger.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly and quick check-in process. Was great to start the morning with a very expansive breakfast options.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Crosswinds was a very quaint motel that offered a "free" breakfast for travelers. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We really didn't stay in the room much since we were only there to shower and sleep. There was a good sized pool and hot tub that came in very handy after a long day hiking around Yellowstone. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Cons: I know that West Yellowstone is a tourist trap, but I was disappointed that the cheapest room I could find in the entire town was at Crosswinds for $180/night. This was a nice motel, but it was a motel. I expected to pay between $85 and 100/night. It definitely wasn't a $180 room.

7.0 Good
Pros: The property is well managed and very clean. It’s close to grocery store and restaurants.
Cons: I booked a king bed room - it’s directly facing the street and very tiny. With two 28” luggages, my family barely have place to move around on the room.
8.3 Excellent

Cons: Bathroom was extremely small. Room with King bed was very small.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Yellowstone Park Hotel in West Yellowstone, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Gallatin National Forest and 6 minutes from Yellowstone Park West Entrance. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds in a adequately sized room. Indoor pool was well maintained. Walking distance to the center of town. Excellent place to stay while visiting Yellowstone NP.
Cons: Complimentary breakfast was pretty basic. Cereal (hot and cold) hard boiled eggs, etc. We went off-site for breakfast a couple of times. Coffee was good.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed comfortable
Cons: Pull out was unconfortable & squeaky. No soap or conditioner in shower. The neighbor next to us tried opening the connecting door, after we went to bed and scared us. Room on your site and room we were given were not the same. Your website picture was deceptive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Laundry facilities, pool for kids, breakfast
Cons: Rooms were not clean on our first day after we came back from our outings. Trash cans were not empty. We were bitten at night. Mattress needs to be changed or fumigated.
6.3 Good
Cons: The breakfast room was small and always quite crowded. The breakfast didn't amount to much, rather skimpy as compared to other places we usually stay. Then I saw on the bill we were charged extra for “amenities” which meant the breakfast and a few other things we didn't use. They did credit this back when I questioned them about it. Another sneaky thing was loading the room with extra things they wanted you to take along because you thought they came with the room only to find out you would be charged for all that stuff after you checked out. I realized that from the get-go but complained at the front desk about how sneaky this was in tricking families with kids. There's a cute stuffed animal toy greeting them on the bed that on closer inspection cost $15.99 plus tax.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is quite simple not much variety but it is nice somehow. The staff is friendly and nice location.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast/internet
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location with respect to the West entrance of Yellowstone NP.
Cons: I just wish their room rate was lower. With the room rate, I expected a hot breakfast, not just an expanded continental breakfast selection.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New, clean, comfortable, great location, great pool.
Cons: Horrible breakfast - no choice, cold food, crowded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was beautiful, quiet. Bed and pillow were especially comfortable. Loved the firepit outside. We were from South Mississippi, so, getting to sit in front of a firepit in July was a once in a lifetime event!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to Yellowstone
Cons: Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. Away from desk a lot
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The house keepers where great a wealth of information
Cons: You could hear everything from the hallway - and need another toaster in breakfast room one for 100 people is not practical
7.5 Good
Pros: It was an adequate place to stay, but nothing extra for the money. I did like the idea of the s’mores, but we never had a chance to participate in the outdoor fire side experience. The staff the second day was much more professional & welcoming.
Cons: The room had way too much light coming through the windows at night for me to rest well. One young lady on staff when we checked in was bizarre. I also asked if there was a senior discount & was given a vague answer.

Cons: We loved everything! The location; amazing. The staff; amazing. The quietness; so quiet. The presentation; so clean!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and had a great sense of place but it as very small.
Cons: Room was too small and television options didn't include major broadcast networks such as NBC, CBS, etc.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location to Yellowstone was ideal.
Cons: Unsafe especially for single women and the customer service at this hotel is atrocious. Read any of the negative reviews and you’ll see how rude the manager is when someone has an issue with the property. I recently stayed with my boyfriend while my mother stayed at the property next door (much better place and better value but it was sold out) with my dog since the Evergreen is not pet friendly. I took my dog for a walk down the sidewalk around 5pm and made sure not to let her on the Evergreens property. That night I got a knock on my door at 10pm. I asked who it was since there is no peep hole or chain to keep the door from opening all the way. No one responds just more pounding on the door. I look out the window and there is a young black man standing there and he won’t leave. My boyfriend opens the door to see what’s going on while I’m trying to cover up in the bed since I’m in my pajamas and the room is so small there is no where to go and have 911 dialed on my phone in case something happens. The man ended up working for the hotel and told us he saw a dog and we couldn’t have one and his manager sent him there to search the room. Mind you this is at ten at night and when the dog was spotted it was 5pm. He could have approached us then. Of course the dog wasn’t in our room and I gave him the room number of the hotel where the dog was staying so he could check for himself. The next day I asked to speak to a manager. She never called me so I emailed her. Her response was that she didn’t think there was an issue because she believed me that I didn’t have a dog so she didn’t return my request for a phone call and that she didn’t realize that I had such a problem that couldn’t be resolved. Like it was all my fault that some strange man knocked on my door in the dark at 10pm. Aside from it being unsafe to stay there it’s also nothing more than a run down motel with nice decorations. Next door is cheaper, pet friendly, and has a breakfast to die for.

Pros: Decent breakfast. Room clean.
