Cons: No complaints
Pros: The owner cooked us a wonderful meal, which was served together with other guests in the dining room. Breakfast the following day was gorgeous, eith homemade cake, served in the kitchen. All this made yoy really feel at home, more than a hotell. In addition there is a refreshing swimming pool, and a jakuzi. The casa is a couple of kilometres uphill from the Camino del Norte, but the owner offered to pick us up, and also offered us a lift down the steep hill to the Camino. The casa is perfectly set up in the hills with womderful views. Much attention has been put to all details. The beds are comfortable, bathroom elegant and spotless. We would recommend this place, and hope to come back sometimes.
Cons: Absolutely nothing

Pros: Best service ever. Lived like a King for a day. Very kind hostess and excellent cook. Worth every penny.
Pros: This place was like a slice of heaven located in paradise. The lady of the house was amazing. She could not do enough for me. She made me my dinner which was lovely. I felt like I was home in her home. Breakfast was also lovely especially her home made marmalade. And when I left, I got lost. I’m walking the Camino. I rang her for help and she got in her car and found me and put me on my way. The hot tub and swimming pool were both extra bits of welcome luxury.
Cons: I’m only sorry I was there for just one night

Pros: Clean rooms, friendly but complicate people
Cons: No breakfast included, parking far away, no air conditioning, complicate communication and process, loud street
Pros: The frontage belies a smart interior, modern, tastefully decorated. The pension is hidden in the middle of a rather austere, uninspiring block of flats. There is a dedicated check in / check out space on the main road.
Cons: Some of the locals living in the adjoining flats are very noisy but stop about 2300. Street parking is a bind but you know that when you book. The dedicated parking is underground and safe.

Pros: Beautiful family run hotel. The service was outstanding. The hotel exceeded my expectation. From the moment we walk we were very impressed with the style, decor and most importantly how welcome the staff makes you feel. Our room was upgraded to a superior with balcony and I was very impressed with its, size, design and amenities. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and its was very nice. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Antsotegi for the beautiful stay and experience.
Cons: loved everything
Pros: Cosy place in a fantastic old building
Pros: I stayed here while walking the Camino de Santiago. It offered a perfect space to rest and refresh. Probably my favorite so far! The staff are hospitable and helpful. It is about 1 1/2 km from Markina, so be prepared for that, especially if you are walking the Camino stretch from Deba.
Pros: Beautiful hotel a bit of luxury on our Camino. The shower was fantastic just what you need after a long day of walking. We had a fabulous meal in the evening. We taught the bar man to make hot whiskeys which we then enjoyed
Pros: Staff on duty apologetic and friendly
Cons: This hotel has serious housekeeping issues.first room had wallpaper peeling off and unable to use slide doors to toilet. Can we have room opposite ? No shower is broken. Moved upstairs to a room where card lock had been removed and could not just close door. Had to lock with a key.

Pros: Personnel was friendly
Cons: Never ask to do laundry. The clothes will be returned shrunk and not possible to wear. During check in (during payment) the lady pressed the button to process transaction in USD from euro card (the bank charged more due to currency exchange!)
Pros: This was really exceptional. As a business they provide food for local functions, and we seemed to have a sample of everything on the table.
Cons: The hotel is tricky to find, and we relied on maps which were inadequate under the circumstances. Better signage so that any signpost can be read from either direction would help.
Pros: Amazing location, with stunning views. Family run hotel. Secure storage for cycles.
Pros: Great place, we really enjoyed!! The view and balcony are amazing, really friendly staff, nice breakfast. Nice room decoration and great bath! Comfortable bed.
Cons: Only downside was that WiFi didn't work good in the room but it worked in the reception area.
Pros: Lovely room and views
Cons: Location. No evening meal option and the local town is 4km away with a return walk up a very steep hill. The local town is very desolate (desperate even) without many facilities - the trip there to find an evening meal was 'an experience'. It would have been much better if the hotel provided evening meals.
Pros: I like beds, cleaningness, kindness of employees
Cons: FAmily room was noisy (close to kitchen and dinning room).
Pros: Remoteness/quiet, friendly staff
Cons: could of done with air con and wifi in the room. Limited menu for evening meals.
