amazing finishes to room and ceiling, well kept hotel no extra facilities (eg. hot tub / jacuzzi), nothing for kids, not the best if arriving late and leaving next day as too expensive
Good setting and hotel was well presented. No hot water during our overnight stay.
The hotel was a good location for a stopover on our way back to the UK from Italy. We found it easily and checked in with no problem. The room was OK although I think what is classed as 4* in England is different in Austria. We searched for somewhere to eat in Zirl but nothing stood out so went back to the restaurant at the hotel and the meal was lovely, can highly recommend eating there. There is also free wireless avaialble but only if you stay in certain rooms but you can wander into the corridor to get a signal if needed.
nice decor, elevator!, good location small room & shower
The breakfast was very good, and the dinners were huge! We enjoyed the attractive restaurant, which is also where breakfast is served. The room was very well designed with lots of storage and electrical outlets. There was even a separate dressing table with an overhead light that also worked as a desk. We had a superior double at the back of the hotel, which was quiet and had a little balcony with table and chairs. I would definitely visit here again, if we were in the area. Zirl is close enough that we drove into Innsbruck the next morning for a visit. The lighting in the bathroom was such that if you used the magnifying mirror you could only see 1/2 your face. Actually, the difficulty was really the placement of the mirror. However, using the dressing table with its overhead bullet light solved the difficulty.
The dining room was great and prices were very affordable. The supper we had there was excellent. The location was perfect, very much in line with what we were looking for (we wanted to visit Innsbruck, but didn't want to stay in a big city downtown). The hotel itself was also very quaint right up against the mountains I was pleased that they had free Wifi, though it did not reach all rooms including ours so we had to do our next day research down in the lobby.
the overall style, vey nice, cosy, and comfortable, specially the restaurant room l
This was a great place to stay outside of Innsbruck. If was very quaint and had a great breakfast. There are lots of things to do and experience right from the doorstep. Nothing.
We enjoined the friendly ,helpful people at the desk and the beautiful facility...a second time. thanks
Spacy room, great view, great breakfast I think that hotels of this class should provide Internet free of charge
Localization, cleaness and confortable
Loved that they had on site parking. Loved the spacious and clean rooms. Steak house in the hotel was wonderful. Close to all major attractions. Very friendly staff. Cost of parking. Cost of breakfast.
after a very difficult check in experience a different member of staff from the orignal receptionist upgraded us as a gesture of goodwill. the orignal receptionist was unhelpful and did not provide any useful information such the availability of the ski bus, breakfast times or other useful services
Great hotel and great Location!!!! At a reasonable price Breakfast is nor so cheap!
Nice view and location Not availabla at all King size bed in standard room, old fashion decoration, expensive breakfast, require to be refurnished, some element are not working
the location was great and the stuff was help full, over all i loved every thing in the hotel.^^
kindly staff N/A
The room was large with plenty of space. There were very good views of the mountains. The armchair in the room needed replacing. The was no separate shower in the bathroom. The television was not state of the art. At 26 € the breakfast was far too expensive. For the price that I paid I expected better facilities
Toured the city
I think for the price things like internet and parking should have been free. They were not and cost 17 and 10 Euros respectively. I think that is a little low-budget for a nice hotel like a Hilton. They should not "nickle and dime" their customers who are already spending top dollar to stay there.
The location was great and the views from the room were fantastic. The facilities at the hotel were the best we had encountered with saunas and pool etc.
The hotel staff is always very polite, the facilities are clean and tidy.
breakfast: good variety and quality we left this hotel after 2 nights, because of the uncomfortable room: we could not turn down the heating and had to turn on the airconditionning in order to cool our room (in the winter!!) As it was situated to the busy street side, we could not sleep with the open window. Their homepage is very stylish and modern, but the hotel itself is kind of oldfashioned inside. Very tiny garage: complicate access for bigger cars. Kind of hectic hotel (bus groups)- no restaurant facilities if you want to eat à la carte.
Location, location, location. Friendly staff, nice rooms, good value. Can't wait to return.
Staff were very polite and ever so helpful. They went out of their way to provide some office equipment etc that I had left at home. There help ensured I had a susscessful visit. Also their Masseur was experienced and assisted with a shoulder problem more thoughoughly than the local medical personal where I live. The breakfast layout could have been a little more ergonomic. I often saw people spinning around to look for the basics.
We did enjoy the location in particular and appreciated the underground parking in central location. The use the car lift for personal purposes with children was not particularly exciting, but the kids liked it.
Second stay at this hotel. Standards remain consistent. Excellent staff and breakfast. Room clean and functional. Well-located. Good spa facilities, especially the pool. Will definitely return. Not applicable.
Location Lack of evening restaurant, but plenty of places nearby
everything - especially the staff
An excellent restaurant for evening meal with attentive service and superb food which also applied to the included breakfast. nothing
Room was too hot Room was too hot
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the train station and the heart of the city.
the all hotel was great and the staff were great to us since I was on crutches. they couldn.t do enough for us. the breakfast ladies were dressed in national costume and so friendly.
Very warm welcome - friendly, old fashioned service, room was extremely comfortable
We were traveling through Bavaria by train, this hotel was just steps from the Innsbruck train station. Luxurious, with every amenity in the room, beautiful modern decor, immaculately clean, luxury bath. Quick walk into Innsbruck, everything can be reached on foot plus there is a bus system. There is a coin laundry just across the street also. The buffet breakfast was amazing, best I've ever had. The staff wa friendly and very helpful. No, it was really wonderful.
The staff on the Reception desk were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Zona sauna/bagno turco senza personale presente.
Cosy rooms, excellent restaurant & staff.
nice, clean hotel, good breakfast, helpfull staff, very quick check-in, very convenient location to the city centre, room standard not for 4 star (i.e. no air conditioning)
Kindliness, Italian speaking
The coffee was very good and tasty in the restaurant. There was not enough place in the toillet.
Nothing No a/c
Convenient old - town edge location; very helpful staff and good service; well appointed room.
Position in city centre, small, quiet, ok buffet redesign needed
Excellent staff, breakfast and location. Free internet with a strong signal was also a nice bonus.
Beautiful hotel and kind staff There is no slipper in the room, the elevator is too small
Breakfast was excellent. There was some noise from the street in the morning, but there was also a nice view from our window.
Hotel staffs were very friendly. Ventiration fan in bathroom didn't work.
Good location, very good breakfast, spacy restaurant, airconditioning worked pretty well. A bit expensive
Nice room, friendly staff I would have liked a room for the same price but with a better view
The pool in the top with the view to the Alps was great. Breakfast was also very good. The room was not according to the hotel. I expected better accommodation / furniture in the room for the price I paid.
A nice hotel at walking distance from the old town, nice quite environment with a rich breakfast buffet
staff, location, pool, training-room....everything a bit hot in corridors, bar, restaurant - no aricondition?
centrally located, friendly personnel. The bathroom was not clean.... dirty under toilet seat.
The staff were particularly helpful assisting with onward travel information following delays after the volcanic ash disruption. The breakfast selection is very good and the swimming/spa facilities are superb. The hotel is well positioned for the old quarter and the railway station.
It was very warm, friendly and comfortable.
This hotel is a class act with nice rooms, nice buffet breakfast, and a great locations near the historical center of town. You always pay more than you want for this type of arrangement.
We had a balcony which overlooked the mountain which was a wonderful sight even in summer
This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the older part of town. When I went, the Christmas markets were in full swing so the location was perfect. Service was wonderful too.
Panaramic windows of amazing views that shift all day as the mountain weather and light change (try & get 6th fl or higher- mountain side), Comfortable beds and living space- chaise lounge, rocker, table, sofa. AC worked well, free sauna with view in evenings if you book direct with them, very nice restaurant, tea/coffee in room. 1 block from train station so super easy to find and get to and from- only 4-6 blocks walk in safe area to old town and river. I was on the 11th floor and loved it all, but and this is speculation only, if on lower floors the train sounds might be troublesome.
one of the best in europe.
very nice hotel no
very good location 5 min walk from city center, very frienly staff, good design in hotel, big rooms, recommended to visit the city.
this is a real design hotel, but nevertheless very comfortable. The rooms are very large and the view opens to the mountains. The station of the "Hungertalbahn", that leads to the mountains is just in front of the hotel. The hotel staff is friendlier than usual. the hotel is on the border of the inner city, so just a 10 minutes walk.
The room is spacious, the hotel brand new and the location excellent.
The design, minimal and efficient and comfortable! It all made sense -- uncluttered, roomy, efficient, with wonderful attention to detail. The hotel is efficient and functional. We love the bathroom access to light and ease of use with the two way door, etc. Nothing! We like every thing and admire the folks who designed the entire hotel but especially the guest rooms.
the comfortable and modern designed room After waking up in the morning i felt that the air inside the room was dry probably because of the air condition system. I'd also like to have more available pillows for the nightsleep
The staff was wonderful. The breakfast delicious.and location we had a problem with our ac condition system
Very nice location, excelent staff, highly recommendable hotel Everything was excelent
Kindness of staff, nice room
The personal were very friedly and helpful. The room clean a bit of tlc would do the hotel good the lager is good for shopping etc. and the price good. Nothing
The hotel was in a very good location. The front desk attendant was marvelous and the rooms had a great deal of storage room. In general, being from the US, we typically sleep on softer beds. Although I don't specifically recall the hardness of your beds, all that we stayed at were harder than we are accustomed to in the US.
It was definetly a superior-class hotel, placed in a good position in respect to the historical downtown, and the room was very big.
As the name says this hotel is realy in the Center of Innsbruck. The breakfast and bar room still have the charme and stile of the famous austrian "Kaffeehaus" Although the rooms are comfortable, they are very small.
Friendly staff and good privacy. No complaints.
Very good breakfast, the Cafè was very nice, good to have dinner, too.Central position.Parking facilities. The room was very clean and with good fornitures. We are very happy to chose this hotel and I think we will visit it again!! The room was very hot and it is not possible to change the temperature!
Great location. Easy access to all sites. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and served in their restaurant which is a happening spot early in the morning which made it fun. Lobby staff didnt seem overly friendly. Just kinda there going through the motions.
the location was very good. The parking facility was good. The fitness room equipment was very poor. The 2 cycles were dangerous and broken. The weight machine was OK.
Family room provided was very spacious and comfortable. limited car parking, so had to use public parking.
Lovely hotel in great location.....
The location to the town was great. 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. The breakfasts were pretty good also. No views from the room, and the room was very small.
Central to Innsbruck, Reception very polite and always ready to help, local knowledge very good. Very comfortable room, super bathroom Nothing to report
The location was good. So was the breakfast. The heating system in the room was broken and the staff seemed unconcerned. "We will get to it tomorrow."
The comfort and high standard The design of the room
Great location Parking facilities are away from the hotel with no direct link. Noise from road traffic
The new bathroom with towel warmer and the bathtub was great! Parking was not great, would like parking closer to hotel.
We like the atmosphere and the courtesy of the hotel staff. The fact that the hotel is very close to the center of the town makes it perfect for visiting Innsbruck and in particular for enjoying the shooping. The smell coming from the smoking area of the bar and from the kitchen that was very strong on our floor and in the room.
The room was spacious with great amenities. It was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the river and city and it was in a great location.Good breakfast. When we entered the hotel we were overwhelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke from the adjoining bar. There was no one at the desk to great us and when the girl showed up she wasn't very nice.We were worried we made a mistake with this hotel but once we got in our room everything was great. The rest of the staff was very friendly and our stay was very satisfactory.
location, comfort of room no tea/ coffee facilities in room
very friendly and helpful staffs
Breakfast was phenomenal!! Amazing range of food and condiments - by far the best we have had around the world and wonderful dining room staff as well We missed being able to make ourselves a cup of tea in the morning when we awoke...jet lag often means this can be any time from 2AM onwards. Can you consider putting a kettle/cups etc in the room as we are used to having this available in London and Singapore??
Breakfast was good and in a very pleasant restaurant with a good view. Liked the evening bar on the terrace and a pianist was there too so nice to have some live music. No evening restaurant.
The location was excellent-quality hotel with excellent facilities and service. Breakfast choice outstanding. The wooden floors tend to echo and at times one could hear the room above and the people moving around. however this is a minor point considering how good the hotel is.
Breakfast buffet was fantastic. The rooms and public areas were well maintained and clean. Location is very convenient. The mattresses were low end and the double was 2 twin beds pushed together. The beds actually separated a few times. The TV had only 1 English language channel and no movie rentals.
Fantastic homeland definitely value for money. Very friendly staff who were really helpful and made you feel very welcome. The best breakfast I have had in a hotel in Europe with lovely waiting staff. The room was comfortable if a little hot but opening the window solved that. The location was perfect with a very short walk to restaurants and shops as w,ell as the museums churches etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating staying in Innsbruck.
great location close to everything; very helpful staff (I needed an adaptor for mobile and they supplied one free of charge straight away) and a superb breakfast
central, nice bathroom, very nice bar and breakfast area, good breakfast for this price I expect a wireless internet and sauna and sport centre, hotel hs no restaurant
The location, staff, and breakfast were all amazing. We would come back just for the breakfast! The room was fine but we were expecting better. The bed and linens were average, the bathroom was a bit odd in that our young children could never reach the faucets and the door always swung open and hit you when using the toilet. Also, the room was very hot (in February), and the only way to effectively cool the room was by opening the window and enduring construction noise next door.
Breakfast was great. I could not get coffee or tea until 16:00pm after breakfast.I wanted to sit on the rooftop terrace and drink coffee but this was not possible unless I bought a takeaway coffee from elsewhere.
the breakfast 4th floor carpet damaged and filthy upon arrival no service for luggage to be taken to the room hot water not hot by early evening service of breakfast staff efficient but cold damaged electrical outlets in the room not enough evening reception staff during 23rd and 24th Dec
The restaurant on the fifth floor and its the very central position.
Staff was very accommodating! Comfortable rooms! Beautiful View. Awesome Breakfast!
Proximity to Airport, Restarant very good food
Extremely heavy construction. This is not just a remodel byut a major reconstruction wi ad addition of two floors. Customers should have been told this at the time of the reservation.
Great welcome by staff. Close to airport and on the bus route to the city, yet outside of the city. Quite area. Free parking. Stylish bedroom and bathroom. Good food offered in restaurant Lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room.
The weather was very warm and the windows do not open. The hotel provided a fan that helped somewhat.
Very close to airport, good if you depart very early
The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We chose the hotel because of it's close proximity to the airport as we had an early flight the next moning. A swimming pool would have been a nice facility to have. The hotel did seem a bit large and impersonal.
friendly staff, clean and quiet room, very close to the airport price for one night in not that high season is too high for the services provided
Very nice room, perfekt booking per internet, friendly persons thank you there was nothing
5 minutes by walk from Innsbruck airport. Breakfast is 1st class
excellent location - walking distance from the airport reception is at the first floor. Need to use stairs to get there. Arriving with luggage you need to carry it
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is ideally located in the heart of Innsbruck! You are surrounded by restaurants and shops galore! The staff was exceptional. The room was exceptional. Really, I can't wait to come back!
Perfect location to see the old city, make shopping, relax..to enjoy the weekend! Our room had a good size and had even a whirlpool..very clean and comfortable!
Very nice hotel, perfect situation in the old town. Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant and a nice clean room.
Very, very friendly stuff. The hotel is in the heart of Innsbruck's Old Town with many attractions, restaurants, and cafes in about 5-7 minute walk. The air was too dry.
It is a very charming and historic inn. We appreciated the sense of history that was reflected in the hotel brochure, the walls, restaurants, and even in the plaque outside the hotel. Wonderful central location in the old town, a stone's throw away from the Inn River, and expansive views of the mountains.
we loved the location- perfect for exploring the village. We also enjoyed the warm ambience of the room and dining areas. Please write at least 15 words We could have used a closet or area to place or luggage.
In beautiful old city of Innsbruck. Excellent hotel in nice environment. Worth paying for "superior room" as very spacious. Even romantic!
the hotel staff, the hotel's location, the hotel's restaurant
The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgable regarding the area with respect to what to see, best way to get there, best time of day to go, etc. Hotel was clean and restaurant food was tasty. When we arrived we couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel because that street is not open for car traffic from 10:30am to 6pm. We should have called ahead to find out about parking. We parked in a nearby garage and walked to the hotel. We found out later that hotel guests are allowed to drive up to the hotel to unload the car then must go park in a parking garage about 2 blocks away for the duration of your stay.
Ideal location, within steps of the major sights. The reception lady was very nice and helpful. Breakfast didn't have scrambled eggs or croissants. Waiter at dinner was in a hurry to get rid of us, not very good service there. Carpark is about 5 min walk away, but this wasn't a problem for us.
Friendly young staff
The location is perfect, except of the parking problem. Nice renovation, romantic and comfortable Too expensive and no internet connection, no slippers etc, no boiler (for tee or coffee), which are common and standard for this kind of 4star expensive hotel.Parking problem.
It was an overnight option only. Not an easy access to the city centre Booked a triple room but absolutely not recommended. Single room was too old and damaged furniture.
The breakfast buffet, our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains (room # 226) The hotel definitely needs a renovation since it is a 4* hotel, the decoration and the furniture look run-down and really old. There is only one elevator.
ski package was complete and best solution for two-three day ski trip.
Both the sauna facility and the terrific landscape
Considering Muslims traditions in the Ramadan Month Nothing
Nobody was bothering us. On the pictures of rooms that you can see on the internet the rooms look much different, than they really are. I aspected that four star hotel would be much different, but nevertheless, we enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nothing specific.
pleasant staff maybe disco club in neiberhood
near the motorway exit it' getting hold
breakfast had american selections beds
The room was very good and the breakfest excellent.
Good location. Big TV. Good breakfast.
Location, staff, room was comfortable
Friendly staff, accommodating possible requests, elevator access good, parking availability very helpful No, nothing to complain about
Quiet, yet near the old town. Very comfortable and clean, very helpful office staff Lack of smell of tobacco smoke found in some Austrian town centre hotels Early morning waitress seemed a bit slow to replenish used buffet items
Friendly and effecient staff No
The location is excellence, near old town. A bit noisy due to room facing the road.
the hotel room was o.k., not much more. it was a five minute walk from the city center which was great and the free parking is also a great thing in pricey Innsbruck.
Location is good. Breakfast was poorly organized, when busy, the service was poor.
Free parking close by. Shower great, but small bathroom. Good selection at breakfast but no hot food. Small but adequate room. 10 mins walk to Old Town. Room temp hot and unable to change, but could open window.
The night staff were very friendly and helpful by servicing us even after they had just closed for an evening night cap. We ere introduced to egg liquer which was to die for. The breakfast buffet was tasty. The location was within walking distance to everything including the golden roof. It was located on the other side of the river so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked. It was two twins pushed together to make a king and there was no sheet on the bed (only a comforter) The bathroom was okay but nothing fancy.
The hotel offered a quaint setting that afforded us access to the old town center for sight seeing and shopping ease.
Excellent location, lovely room, breakfast beautifully presented and service courteous. The room had an irritating noise - perhaps from heating/air conditioning pipes.
The rooftop restaurant made for a spectacular evening. The location made access to "Old Town" very easy. Perfect setting for our "Retirement Honeymoon"! None
rooftop welcome with gluhwein. Warm and friendly staff. Excellent service and food in restaurant.
Very good location, within a very short walk of Old Town and the major sights. Breakfast was not included. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
My husband and I loved the comfortable bed and pillows. It was quiet and although the room was small, it was all we needed. The tv was too small.
The staff was helpful. Too old.
Very much enjoyed our stay here. The room we had, which we only paid a standard rate for, was very nice - spatious and nicely furnished. Decent location also, only five minutes walk to town centre.
The hotel is in a great location, I like the family history of the hotel, the bar and restaurant were good and the staff is very friendly.
Very nice and friedly staff.
Dining room, menu and serving staff highly professional and friendly. Menu was impressive. At time of booking I provided a specific special request that was not provided. (flowers, champagne... at my cost) This was a wedding trip. No acknowledgement from hotel staff. I did not pursue it further as the surprise effect was lost. It does not stop me from recommending the hotel, however this little extra would have differentiated the hotel for me.
Excellent friendly service and very good food
Nice garden at the backyard and good outdoor restaurant no fridge and old-fashioned interior
Good location, easy to each...
breakfast was good, rooms were nice with god view no one at reception when we arrived and we had to track down staff to check-in
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but a little impersonal. There were not enough facilities for simple relaxation, i.e. enjoying a cup of coffee and snack. The restaurant prices were far too expensive and there were no alternatives.
The old restaurant and hotel staff. The furniture in the rooms(too old/out of fashion).
We were very satisfied with the quiet and pleasant environment. The room was well equipped, we lacked nothing.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful We had to move room as our room at the front of the hotel was extremely noisy. After three nights, we are able to move to a quieter room.
The location and the accommodation. The staff were very friendly and when there was a problem with the internet connections let me use the pc in the office.Lovely place to visit and very near Innsbruck. In Igls many places to eat and local Spar.Places open on a Sunday.which was a great change as coming from Switzerland everything closes on Sunday.Lovely pool and a good size - 20 m.. The a la carte although was tasty was very limited .Better to go half board if wanting to eat in the hotel. The Had a pedicure which was good value but facial wasn't up to much.Simple cleanse and exfoliation and at 80 euros not really worth it.This wouldn't put me off going again though.Great hotel give it a go.i
I liked the central location of the hotel and the availability of leisure facilities and the spa. The rooms were very comfortable and I particularly liked the spaciousness of the rooms I found the menu in the restaurant to be somewhat limited. All the main meals were all cooked in a heavy sauce and very limited with accompanying vegetables.
Friendliness of the staff, cosy atmosphere, elegant terrasse facing the marketplace, wonderfull plateau for promenades including a small lake to swim in in summer, mountains beside and the city of Innsbruck on 10 min by car.
General warmth and spaciousness
Spa area it is very nice and confortable Kids allowed in the spa area, noises in the room caused probably of pipe vibrations
The room size + design; the spa center facilities. A bit too old elevators.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to ... the staff was very very helpful, the place beautiful. Wonderfully situated, so close to the mountains and so close to Innsbruck (a tram and also a bus are right next to the Hotel). I can happily recommend this hotel. The only negative part was the extra bed, which was very small and uncomfortable! It was actually made up of two separate sections.
The room was comfortable, with balcony and a beautiful view. The svimming pool is great and the restaurant is good. Parking: it is very difficult to find a place to park in Igls.
The position is 5 minutes from the city center. Double room too small.
good location, fair breakfast, good hotel staff. poor cleanliness all over the hotel, very old, useless furniture. Very old appliances.
It was fairly Central to all of the sights of Innsbruck, and to the night life etc, simple , no frills ,but fine
clean room, good breakfast, fast internet connection on the hall of the 1st floor room was noisy and even if non-smoker's room, smoke smell was coming in.
This hotel is straight down the street in front of the train station--about a 5 minute walk. Very convenient! I missed having a hair dryer in the room, since I did not pack one. Also, the breakfast room is divided into a smoking and non-smoking section with no ventilation, so it may as well have all been a smoking area.
The location was good and convenient. Not many amenities; no lobby; beds uncomfortable. Too many steps to climb carrying luggage. Would recommend only to day travelers not long term visitors.
prepared us breakfast for ealy start which was appreciated
The location from the train station is good. The woman on reception that checked us in was rude and we later found out that she checked us into a room that was not supposed to be used as the shower-head was broken.
