Flight missed while sitting in airport.
Pros: A few of the ground crew were VERY helpful in trying to rectify this matter. Others turned and quickly walked away. We never raised our voices or became combative.
Cons: Early July, we arrived at LAX hours before departure time. Informed by WOW that minimum 4 hour delay due to mechanical. We were not given a gate # to wait at. We went through all security and waited close by in a nearby restaurant within the gate area. Soon thereafter, flight is ready to go. They made unsatisfactory attempts to contact us. No e-mails or texts were received by ANY of us, though WOW says that they did this. After much time trying to get on another flight, we ended up having to drive all the way home and all of us had to buy brand new tickets on another airline at short notice prices. WOW has still not refunded us or communicated with us after months of attempts by us. It is now the end of October.
