Sitting at the foothills of the Davis Mountains, this nature center and botanical garden is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. Be sure to start at the Powell Visitor Center to pick up a map and local recommendations.

This stop is worth adding to your list for gourmet food in a welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to end the meal with key lime pie – one of their specialties.

Marfa Maid Dairy

Owners Malinda and Allan are passionate about cheese and want to share it with you! This functioning dairy offers tours, but reservations are needed – be sure to check out their website for more info.

The Chinati Foundation

This contemporary art museum focuses on the connection we all share with nature. The gallery is open Thursday – Saturday from 9 am-5 pm so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.
