Getting to San Juan
The main airport serving San Juan is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU).
Where to stay
We stayed in Old San Juan so we were centrally located and could easily walk to sight seeing spots and restaurants.
Day 1
- Explore Old San Juan for the colorful buildings, Fortaleza Street, and the history of Castillo de San Cristobal
- Grab lunch & visit Barrachina to try the original Pina Colada
- Relax then head back out to try visit La Factoria for cocktails & salsa dancing
Day 2
- Head to Fajardo for the Catamaran Snorkeling Boat Ride w/ East Island Tours for the day (includes beach day, snorkeling, lunch + drinks)
- Relax, grab dinner, then head to La Placita for dancing at nightclubs/bars
Day 3
- Grab breakfast from Bien Papayas then head to Casa Bacardi for their mixology class or tour
- Head back to Old San Juan to walk around & grab lunch
- Book a sunset boat ride to sail through Old San Juan w/ a history tour
Day 4
- Grab breakfast then start the day at Carabali Rainforest Park for ATV riding or horseback riding
- Head to Pinones Beach for the remainder of the day & explore the local shops for a street food crawl for local favorites like bacalaitos, pinchos, and alcapurrias
