Henry’s KAYAK Guide

As a travel photographer, I’ve been fortunate to capture breathtaking landscapes and cultures across the globe – from the icy wilderness of Antarctica to the vibrant streets of Vietnam. Here are some of my favorite spots that have left a lasting impression on me.

Favorite city at the moment: Paris

One of my favorite cities for strolling around all day until the street lights turn on, Paris is a wonderful place for aimless crisscrossing until you find that perfect cafe or bakery! I especially love going during the summer when the sun doesn’t set until 9 or 10 pm and the locals are all having wine and cheese along the Seine River.

Best destination with everything: Thailand

The country that started my travel obsession – Thailand! It really has everything – beaches, jungles, modern city life, friendly locals, and of course amazing food! Start in Bangkok and then branch off to be a beach bum in the south or slow down with easy vibes in Chiang Mai.

My favorite island paradise: Maldives

Bucket list destinations

A crowded street lined with vendor stalls selling assorted souvenir items under hanging banners of country flags.

Korea

I’ve been all over Asia many times over, but for some reason I’ve never explored Korea. That has to change.. hopefully soon! I love exploring the food scene when I travel and Korea is one of the best for that. On top of that, the K-Pop, skincare, and fashion scene is really influencing the rest of the world right now.

Egypt

I’ve always wanted to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx, sail down the Nile River, and go scuba diving in the Red Sea. Egypt just has so much interesting history – everyone really should visit at least once in their lives.

Australia/New Zealand

The last continent I haven’t explored, Australia is full of natural wonders and magnificent cities. The coffee scene there is also one of the best. New Zealand, right next door, is a natural wonderland with epic landscapes. I’d love to spend some time hiking there.
