That the A380 was only 70%full, resulting in me getting three seats to myself. I was able to stretch out and sleep for most of the flight. Food and service were top notch. Better value than Lufthansa or American, for the overall flight experience. You could fly cheaper, but not better, in economy.
Though we landed early at JFK, we had a one hour wait on the tarmac until one of the only two gates capable of receiving an A380 opened up.
Seats in economic class are not too contraint in space, food was good and entertainment system quite nice with large si play screen and large movie selection

The service from the Singapore Airlines is always impeccable. The food is delicious. The business class seat is spacious and wider than all the US airlines. There are plenty storage space in your seat space. The entertainment system has many choices and has a lot new release movies and shows.
Unfortunately, the ride on Boeing 777 is not as smooth as the Airbus'. The noise in the cabin is louder. The seat is comfortable but the bed is not. First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone.
The seats are very comfortable. There was ample entertainment.
No complaints at all. They are very professional and I would chose them again.
Loved the hot towel service
Entertainment could be better, however there were a few new and Oscar nominated movies available. Personal air conditioning would be great, I was too hot the entire flight
The food is very good in economy. Large screen tv gor movies and games.

Entertainment very poor, no selection, I took the flt in Jan and the movies and selection was sane in Feb. Bad. Food was so so.
