Cons: "Had our luggage checked for connecting flight in Frankfurt"

Pros: "The flight was fine, but there was not enough time to transfer between the gates in Frankfurt. That also did not give us enough time for our luggage to transfer."

Lufthansa lost our luggage, and to get rid of us, told us they would send it to the hotel we had to check into on account of the overnight delay. They never delivered the luggage, and other employees later told us over the phone that this was not going to happen. The terminal was filled with tired and frustrated travelers, and to make matters worse, the Lufthansa staff were temperamental and condescending to many. At the peak of the chaos, the Lufthansa staff went out on break, while hundreds waited in line for over 8 hours. We expected more - much more - in one of Lufthansa’s own German domestic hubs."

The crew took time to tell us what we would be seeing as we flew, it was a beautiful morning for the flight until we experienced overcast skies in Austria- Germany. The staff did their job well with minimal comfort disruption."
Cons: "I would take this flight again. The only thing I would change is unloading procedure of walking down stairs on the outside of the terminal, then loaded on a stand up bus for a rather long ride to the terminal. It reminded me of London. But, I guess it is something you have to deal with."

Pros: "Flew back last weekend in February. Transfer between plane from Barcelona in Frankfort (LH hub) to flight to Boston extremely chaotic. Masses of passengers all attempting to transfer to US bound flights. Insufficient staff from both Lufthansa and German border control to process or even organize the masses of people flying that day. Mob scene at transfer points. Not up to LH usual standards. Quite surprising as their passenger volume data should have alerted them to impending problems. Our flight was delayed over an hour for takeoff so USA bound connecting passengers (whose luggage was already on the planes) could be processed."

Pros: "The crew was great. It was only a short flight, so we only got a c0okie, but what a cookie!! Big and soft and super tasty. And the coffee was quite good. Germany has never been known for its superb coffee, but this coffee was very good. None of that fakey airline taste to it at all. Could easily be the gourmet coffee you'd serve at home. You DO serve gourmet coffee at home, right? And water and juice and then more water and more juice, all served up by very nice people--not just good service personnel, good people. Baggage pickup was quick and smooth--I travel with my cat, so pickup can be rocky. Nothing to it here."

Cons: "We had no individual entertainment on the flight, only very old CRT screens hanging from the ceiling, circa 1995. They did show movies but the sound quality was poor and my headphone jack did not work so I had to share with my husband. They offered no explanation for this, since their website clearly promises individual screens for international flights. When asked, the FA simply said "this isn't our usual plane for these types of flights." However, we had the same issue when flying to Frankfurt with them, so the company seems to just be lying. The food can barely pass as food. Everything was ice cold except the main dinner entree, even the bread. The only vegetable available throughout our 8+ hour flight was shredded carrots absolutely swimming in mayonnaise. The boarding process was exceedingly slow and they would not allow use of cell phones for boarding passes, although their check in provides the attachments. This required probably 1/4 of those boarding to have to step aside to another line for a paper copy. Again, no apologies or explanations from the company. Overall, I wish I had shopped around a bit more and chosen another airline. International flying is supposed to be somewhat enjoyable, even in economy class. Instead, this was the longest 8+ hours of my life."

Cons: "The airplane left Barcelona late and arrived in Frankfurt late. Lufthansa only allowed a 45 minute layover in Frankfurt to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. Because we arrived late - we only had 20 minutes to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. What made this an awful experience is that the flight from Barcelona landed at Gate A - our connecting flight was at Gate Z. This was as about as far away from each gate as you could get. This was over a mile to run in order to catch our connecting flight - I hurt my hamstring during the run. The Lufthansa "assisting agent" in the Frankfurt terminal was less than helpful and laughed when we told her where our connecting gate was. Not only did she laugh but she did not offer any assistance to get us to the gate on time. Prior to our trip - I called Lufthansa and voiced my concern that a 45 minute layover for an international flight was not a lot of time for us to make a connecting flight. The agent I spoke with said that legally - 45 minutes was a standard lay over for Lufthansa and she did not offer me any alternatives. This was not a pleasant experience with Lufthansa and I doubt we will fly with you again."

There was no inflight entertainment for an 8+ hour flight - you had to rent iPads which is crazy these days. We were late to takeoff due to airport traffic which isn't the airlines fault but then because the customs baggage scanning system went down at Montreal my husband missed his connection - was eventually put on my flight after two trips to ticketing and three calls to aircanada but his bag never arrived in Chicago. We are still waiting for it."

We sat in seats that cannot recline - for the whole flight from Barcelona to Toronto. Cabin crew did not keep the cabin clean. Although we flew Air Canada from Barcelona to Toronto and have not left the inside of the airport, we had to go through customs again and almost missed our flight to Atlanta due to that. Airport officials were rude; some of the crew members treated us with disrespect and not approachable. It is the worst international flight ever - even worse than some third world carriers that I used before."

Then the guy in front of me reclined and I had absolutely no room. I had to turn to the side. We didn't board until around the time we were supposed to depart. We were over a hour behind schedule. They held the plane to get a passenger's bag off because he was stuck in customs. Unless it's a funeral I need to get to, I'm not flying Air Canada again."

Had outlets to charge but did not work or very slow to charge phones, no wifi available even to buy, flight attendants are young and inexperienced in handling questions about challenges. No entertainment on flights which I did not know until after my first flight to Venice with no entertainment (iPads were all rented out) or Wifi available for over eight hours. Bathrooms are old and several bathrooms did not have brighter lighting after you lock door."

When person in front tilted his seat back I really felt cramped and felt like a sardine. I am not a tall person. I do have short legs. Maybe airlines should hereafter ban tilting the seats back."

Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly two hours. Gate signs were never updated. 7 gate attendants spent 1.5 hrs standing at the gate talking laughing and joking amoungst themselves. They appeared annoyed when anyone asked for an update. They finally announced they were waiting for a wheelchair to unload a passenger from the previous flight. They announced they were ready to board zone 1 and 2 and then did nothing for another 25 minutes. Funny when we finally boarded nobody ever saw a wheelchair go on or off the plane. Understand that flights are delayed but no updates or explanations and a gate crew that seemed annoyed that the passengers were disrupting their social time was unacceptable."

Cons: "My flight with Air Canada from Barcelona to the final destination of Atl was an awful experience. Our flight was delayed for no apparent reason causing my friend and I to miss our connecting flight. The Air Canada crew did re-book our connecting flight, however there was so much confusion on whether or not we had to go through customs since we landed in Montreal and our new flight was with Delta not Air Canada, that we ended up rushing through lines after lines of customs in the Montreal airport only to learn we could have avoided it all. On top of that, we were told multiple things about our baggage. To be safe we tried to go through customs and pick up our bags to be rechecked, but our bags weren't there. When we asked they said they had been put on our Delta flight, however in actuality they were stored in a closest. Needless to say, our bags did not travel with us and my friend and I had to spend hours at the Atl airport trying to locate our bags and arrange to have them flown to Atl and delivered to us. The flight itself was okay but their in flight entertainment options were awful. You either have to download the Air Canada app (which wouldnt download) or rent an Ipad for $10. The food wasn't great either. The crew members were nice but a little impatient and the bathrooms were gross. Overall, I won't fly Air Canada again."

The gate agents weren't all that helpful, and then the re-bookng desk in Zurich (not Air Canada's fault) was horrifyingly bad. We ended up missing a whole day in Barcelona. Then, the flight back from Barcelona to Toronto was also late, causing us to again miss our flight home to Houston. Again, the gate agents were completely confusing, leading us to initially believe we could make our flight, so we ran with suitcases only to learn that we hand't made it and that we might not even get out that night (we ultimately did). Our final flight was also late."

My wife and I somehow to our connecting flight by running all the way and requesting people to let us go ahead of them. However, United did not send our bags fast enought and deliverd them to our place the next day. Cons: "I did not know it was code-shared by United, otherwise I would never take a United flight. This is the second terrible experience in a row. Our flight was delayed. My wife and I somehow to our connecting flight by running all the way and requesting people to let us go ahead of them. However, United did not send our bags fast enought and deliverd them to our place the next day. This created a lot of inconvinience as I was scheduled to go for a business related conference in Chicago. United - you suck! Hate your service for the core. I hope I never have to fly United again."

Pros: "Crew was great, and apologetic for the takeoff delay in a red eye flight."
Cons: "the aisle seats on the plane had a narrower underseat space that my little boxy carryon wouldn't fit into--and it usually fits under any underseat storage...Luckily the passenger in the middle was willing to swap places."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats for a redeye. They reclined about an inch."

Pros: "For my first time flying every thing was great. Crew was friendly. Flight was early. Ready to book another flight!!"

Pros: "Crew was smiling very polite even though it was a crowded flight to FLL and back to EWR."
Cons: "There were not one but two dogs on the flight which I had an allergic reaction to. Thank goodness I travel with extra allergy medication in my purse. The owner of the dog in front of me keep insisting the dog was hypoallergenic. What matters is my reaction or the person who is allergic reaction to the dog's dander even if they claim it's a hypoallergenic dog. Once I had a severe reaction on a United flight and the cat was no where near me, but the air is circulating so I has to take benadryl. There should be some consideration for people who have health concerns without making the customer feel like we are a problem."

Pros: "Excellent choices, comparisons, easy to use, updates"

Cons: "Luggage trouble and space trouble for passengers. There was a barking dog on the seat next to me"

Pros: "Great captain. Bad weather conditions but made me feel safe. Had to pay for tv but that was ok. We were on the ground for almost 2 hours so I needed entertainment."

Cons: "The lines set up to let people onto plane were disorganized."

Cons: "Taxied then returned for mechanical issue Had to deplane and wait 3 hrs Text that gate changed Text that gate didn't change 2 hrs into 3 hr flight told that we had been re routed for a 4 hr flight due to weather 1 hr later told we have to land somewhere else to refuel Landed to refuel then told we have to wait to take off because the airport lost power in most terminals due to previous storm"

Pros: "I liked that it was a direct flight from DEN to FLL at a decent time of day."
Cons: "I don't like being in Boarding Group 4 all the time. I don't fly United as often as I used to, but still it seems I should be able to get group 2 or 3 occasionally. I often have to travel with my suitcase carry on and it's difficult to insure I will get on at a decent time to get a space. My husband who rarely flies, but has a United credit card, gets Boarding Group 2 every time. This is frustrating to those who travel United still but can't seem to get a break on the boarding. It discourages us from flying United because of this approach. Charging for bags and boarding in the manner they do does not promote efficiency in the boarding process and only frustrates customers and discourages people from flying United. Changing their priorities would help both efficiency and make them a friendlier airline."

Pros: "The flight was great but the flight was delayed almost an hour. There was. great cabin crew and we had a quick fligh despite the delay. I would fly with United again."

Pros: "Stuck on the tarmac 1 hr before and after flight"

Pros: "Flight was smooth, good landing even though the flight was delayed."
Cons: "The Denver based flight crew on this flight was a rude. They threatened to kick off someone with a dog on the flight and had a bad attitude overall. The flight attendants were very "short" with the passengers. It seems that the customer service side of the full fare airlines is decreasing. Also, my television on the seat back did not work, so I had to sit there in silence for the 4 hour flight."

Cons: "My original flight were CMH to ORD, ORD to FLL. First of all, it took 25.5 hours to get CMH to FL. Could not even landed at FLL, they send me at Tampa and I have to drive to Miami and took 5 hours after frying and waiting for 20.5hours. Finally, got in to Tampa, of course UNITED lost my laggege and they had no idea where it was. UNITED CREWS are not willing to help you. I am so tired to deal with UNITED and I do not recommend to my firends or family or anyone."

Cons: "Worst customer service I've ever experienced with an airline. United should be ashamed. Flight canceled based on pilot being late from hotel, then late flight inbound, then weather. Next available flight wasn't for 48 hours later. No accommodations, compensation, or bags. Never fly United or in or out of Newark Liberty International."

Pros: "My airport and flight experience from Newark on Christmas Eve was excellent , no delays plenty to keep you entertained while you wait for flight , great stores and eateries . Would definitely choose the airline and airport again ."

Cons: "Next time I Would like To pick up my Seat, as soon as I buy the flight ticket."

Pros: "Flight on time very kind and curtious very nice"

Pros: "I had a very pleasnt experience except the seat rows were SO small and my seat didn't recline. I am only 5ft 4in and I felt uncomfortable. The woman next to me was cleary very uncomfortable. This was my first time flying United in a while and I will definitely avoid UA in the future for long flights."

I think for people traveling long hours there should be some kind of inflight entertainment. Very unhappy traveling with United. I would rather pay more money and fly American Airlines. Not pleased with this airline"

Pros: "I loved the service air hostesses were very polite and friendly the seats were actually comdoerable was considering that. Overall it was a very good flight"
