Argentina has restricted entry to most foreign travelers, except for nationals and residents, and repatriation, medical, and humanitarian flights.
Argentina suspended international passenger flights from the pandemic "affected areas" (Europe, the US, South Korea, Japan, China, and Iran) until at least November 8.
With effect from October 30, nationals and residents of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay can enter Argentina to visit the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires for tourism purposes. Entry will only be allowed through the Port of Buenos Aires (Buquebus Terminal) and through Ezeiza International Airport in the Province of Buenos Aires. Airlines operating repatriation flights must send all passenger information to ANAC 12 hours before departure. This information must contain the passenger list with travel document numbers, phone numbers, and addresses where each person declares that they will comply with the mandatory quarantine upon arrival.
Passengers must complete a "Declaración Jurada Electrónica para el ingreso al Territorio Nacional".
All travelers must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to arrival and a medical insurance with coverage of COVID-19 treatment cost. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from these requirements
Starting on December 15, all travelers arriving in Buenos Aires City via Ezeiza Airport may be subject to COVID-19 testing in lieu of quarantine.
All travelers authorized to enter the country and have a valid medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result are not subject to 10-day self isolation upon arrival.

When asked to see if wevcould bd placed together she sarcastically commented that we had bought our flight through expedia and if we had dome it directky with AA we might have been together. Shame on her comment! AA offers their flights to many companies snd I now wonder if her comment is true, which makes me consider next time I choose an airline. In Buenos Aires when We checked in something similar happened and we could not book our seats the day before bcause they were all taken . The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"

There are so many expats in Buenos Aires and they all buy tickets in Argentina to go to Uruguay within 3 months. Upon showing the immigration of Argentina my USA passport at the entry, they have NEVER asked me for any kind of proof that I would be leaving within 3 months. At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."

Cons: "The flight was delayed over 11 hours for maintenance. They provided car service back to our home but we waited an hour at JFK for the vendor Skyway to arrive. The car had a bad odor and the driver didn't know who he was picking up or where he was taking us. Should seriously consider contracting with a different vendor. The next morning, after we boarded, we waited an hour on the plane before taking off while they searched for a maintenance book. The entertainment system did not work at all nor did the Wi-Fi. Overall American Airlines did a very poor job communicating the delays ahead of time. I won't be flying an international flight with AA again."

That is a long way to go w a scooter and a bag, only to learn the correct gate is B4. I was the last to board, there was no bin space left. it shouldn't be so complicated."
