Worst flight experience I've ever had and I'm 70+ years old. In Dublin we were diverted from JFK to Hartford due to "mechanical problems" and told we'd be met at the gate and provided ground transportation to JFK. Approximately 30 others going to either JFK or Boston were told the same thing and joined us on a half empty flight to Hartford. When we landed there was no representative at the gate, no ground transportation provided, and no effort to help us. A little investigation on cell phones revealed both the Boston and JFK flights left on time (and I'm guessing full). Needless to say the customers were quite upset. Some even raised their voices which caused the kid representatives of Aer Lingus to call the state troopers (really). When the troopers did nothing the Aer Lingus reps locked themselves in their office rather than deal with their customers. After 2 hours of waiting for the promised ground transportation we gave up, rented a car, and drove ourselves to our destination at our own expense. We were never provided even a free drink. Horrible. Lies upon lies upon lies. I'll never consider flying with them again
No coffee for breakfast and the food for breakfast
The crew was pleasant and accommodating to me, my wife, our 3-year-old and 1-year-old for both legs. The planes were in good shape and everything was on time. The balthrooms were clean and felt spacious. I didn't eat the dinner because we ate a large dinner before the long flight. I did tasted it and it was good. The selections of movies was also very good.
Thw system they use for in flight entertainment was a little glitchy.
The Dublin to Manchester leg of the flight was far friendlier. Food was bad. No service to speak of on transatlantic potion. Couldn’t even get a refill on coffee after one tiny cup at breakfast.
We had lots of seat space because the flight wasn't full and we could spread out a bit. If the plane hadn't been full, the seats and leg room space were insufficient. The food was good. The on board entertainment was enjoyable, making the time go by quicker.
We weren't able to select our seats, they were selected for us. We also couldn't print out our Boarding Passes until we arrived at the airport giving us an uneasy feeling about the seats we would be assigned. Ultimately, our seat assignments were fine, but no need for the drama.
I like the courteous crew members, very cordial & attentive.
The long wait on the aircraft after all passengers and crew were on board waiting for the oxygen tank to arrive.
It was overall a good experience, cannot complain about the service as it was great.
The weather caused a bumpy return flight but that is not the airlines fault.
smaller aircraft with very limited overhead bag storage. Constantly have to announce volunteers for bag check in. Happen both ways. Atl to Toronto and Toronto to Atl.
I had to change my return ticket early because of an emergency and Air Canada charged me $481.00 whenI only paid $371.00 fora round trip. How is that possible?
Compared to the flight going the other way, this one was much more comfortable. I didn't have someone's seat back in my face the whole time, and was able to enjoy games on my own device. I like that both USB and normal power options were available, so I was able to play games and charge my phone so I could use it after landing. The food was passable as well, which was surprising.
It's unavoidable when flying between multi-lingual locations, but having movies and stuff pause three times for each announcement gets annoying. The rolls served with the meals were very dry. These are small nits, and the flight was generally enjoyable.
Check in was easy through their app. Also very quick lines to drop off bags. Crew was very nice and respectful
Seat are a little bit too close together. But overall very comfortable
4 hour flight. Non-eventful except slight turbulence. Good to be home! Thank you!
