Cons: "I was told that I had to check my bag because it would not fit in the overhead bin. When I got on the plane I found that the overhead bins were ample sized for my hiking pack. I know that British Airways has a policy regarding bags in overhead bins that basically says 'if you cannot lift your bag into the overhead bin un-assisted, you must check your bag.' My husband and I are both experienced hikers, we lifted our packs unassisted on the last plane, yet they forced us to check our bags. I'm glad our bags made it to the UK, but this is literally the first time I've checked a bag and had it arrive. Also, the boarding passes sent to me on my phone were rejected by almost every security/boarding check. This is after BA supposedly fixed their error with the previous boarding passes. Overall not pleased with the experience but glad I paid under $300 for my ticket."

We had to call British Airways and then the booking company (Webjet) to finally get things sorted out. We had received no notification from Webjet or British Airways of these changes and were told that our taxes were refunded for the return tickets."

By then, obviously, only the worst seats were available. Do they care? Obviously no. I'm the one stuck in the worst seats for 8:30h. And that happened both ways in the trip. All they would say is "I'm sorry, I can't help you at this time". As that would improve my flying experience. If the problem was on their side, they should definitely accomodate me."

But From London to Dubai BA offered passenger Economy class the passenger reserved business class but they put him in Economy and the reason they said the flight is over booked. The passenger has heart problem and knee problem we reserved for him in business class to assure he will get the maximum care but in despite of his health conditions and in despite that he reserved in business class they put him in economy class"

The seating is so tight, I could barely move my legs when the seat in front of me was reclined (and I am tiny!) I landed after my connecting flight was already boarded, causing an employee from the airline to announce my name over the intercom on the plane and tell the passengers to "clear a lane for me." I ran with my suitcase over my head, bumping into people and making it to my next gate...where I was told there was ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM for my carry on...which was also, very tiny. I specifically did not want to check my bag because I needed to immediately hop off the plane to make it to work on time. Another customer was VERY upset about having to check his bag and was pulled aside. I finally was told I needed to check my bag at the gate to get on. So i did. As I entered the plane, about half of it was COMPLETELY empty with PLENTY of room. I was floored. About 10 minutes later, the very angry man happily entered with his carry on and stored it easily in the overhead bin. My frustration was at a peak. But I said nothing. When I arrived to Newark, I rushed to baggage claim and guess what? After 30 minutes of waiting, my bag never showed up. I had to check in with information and finally found it. But this caused to me to be late for work. I have usually had a great experience with United. But this experience has changed my mind completely and am very upset."

Cons: "Flight cancelled and no alternative to deal with cancelled flight"

Pros: "The best time to fly a particular airline is right after they've been in the news with bad publicity. Every single personnel was attentive and cordial."
Cons: "It was a smaller plane and very full. The seats are packed so tightly together, you dare not sneeze."

Pros: "Everything was fine on the first leg."
Cons: "Delays, very long delays. Not a fault of anyone but United had delays."

Pros: "Very comfortable and the staff was great!"

Pros: "I liked that when the plane actually arrived to newark that the boarding was swift. The pilot and flight crew were good."
Cons: "The plane was late. I flew out of Detroit because it was cheaper than flying out of Cleveland where I live. So due to this flight being late I had to pay more then expected to get my car out of the parking garage and got home an hour and a half later than expected which got me home at 3am versus 130am (original time I would have been home IF the plane would have been on time)."

Pros: "Flight attendant was fine"
Cons: "Was told upon checking in that they did not have s seat for me. United airlines informed me that third party websites do not guarantee seats. You must book directly on united. They over book the flight and several passengers were not allowed on the flight"

Pros: "fast smooth safe trip"
Cons: "They ran out of food, didn't get any snacks, which were pretzels, I would prefer peanuts like in the old days."

Cons: "HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM UNITED AND THE THIRD PARTY CONSOLIDATOR. Awful. Awful. Awful."

Pros: "Flight was smooth and on board crew was nice and helpful. Flight attendant noticed I came on with a cane and offered to have a wheelchair ride available in the SF airport. Reminding me that it was a large airport. I declined, but she encouraged me to try it and I agreed. She was concerned and very helpful."
Cons: "The plane was a small plane and we had to disembark on the tarmac. There were two attendants with wheelchairs but they didn't have my name so I walked on. The flight attendant called to me and said to wait. One of the attendants came up with a wheelchair and said he would take me. Unfortunately, a steep ramp had to be used to get into the airport building. He asked another worker to help him and all the way up the ramp I had to listen to comments about "good thing they had eaten their Wheaties" and "they were getting a good workout." I know that I am not a small person, but these ongoing comments were rude and insulting. When we got into the gate the attendant told me that he didn't have my name on his list and had to call for permission to take me through the airport. I waited and he came back and said he couldn't take me, but if I could wait someone else could come for me. I had waited enough already and suffered their rude comments, so I said no thanks and walked slowly through the airport. This experience has left me with a bad feeling for the airline and its personnel. I believe their staff could use sensitivity training at the very least!"

Cons: "Long wait on the tarmac on the short flight"

Cons: "Had to wait at gate for a while before disembarking."

Pros: "I recently flew Icelandic Air, on a Winglet. It was tiny, and no service like United. United was pleasant, wheelchair right there except one time. I like the Boston to SF flight, aisle seat, huge aisles, no one looked uncomfortable, bathroom kept immaculate, and small plane to Burbank excellent, I even had whole aisle to myself."
Cons: "The flight back to Boston, as mentioned. But Icelandic Air had tv screens on back of seats, so during the very long journey, you could track your flight, look at movies, for free, and beautiful,music selections. I wish United had that. My cell phone was not working great, so had no entertainment"

Pros: "On way from Boston to SF, Burbank,,and from Burbank to SF, everything, from service, plane comfortability, seating, was excellent. I was really impressed! But they dropped the ball,the last leg of journey."
Cons: "In SF, I paid wheelchair assistant, who left me at Gate 62, and I told him to come get me if gate changed. He never came back, even after hefty tip, and last minute I had to get to Gate 73, almost fainted, I have leukemia. Though I was able to,board first, the plane was older, smaller, and I was out in an E, middle, seat. Horrible experience."

Cons: "No notification that the flight was cancelled until I got to the airport. Not sure then why I share my phone number and email"

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "they were late and departed much later than scheduled."

Cons: "Loud girls behind me talking."

Pros: "Super sweet flight crew and great entertainment."

Pros: "Flight crew was pleasant."
Cons: "Very confusing boarding, multiple flights in same gate with no obvious line. Plane interior very bare-bones, not updated in any way for comfort or ergonomics. No entertainment or food available, though it was a short flight. Plane responded terribly when we hit significant turbulence."

Pros: "Crew was able to get most of those delayed onto the incomming flight which was also delayed."
Cons: "The fact that united has no spare planes in case of a delay. Not cool."

Cons: "Tiny seat"

Pros: "I waited for 4 hours on the second left of my flight. That was unpleasant but I appreciate Kayak sending continuous updates"

Cons: "Four hour equipment delay on departure One hour equipment delay in return I never want to fly connecting again but it was the only way to get from Newark to Burbank."

Pros: "The flight attendant was super."
Cons: "Nothing really. I would like it if pilots would be more interactive. Tell passengers landmarks and cities/states they pass over. Seems no one does that."

Pros: "Getting to my destination"
Cons: "Almost 3 hours delay on the way there and the same on the way back. It's so unacceptable"

Pros: "Other than all my flights were delayed"
Cons: "Flights delayed"

Cons: "Plane Was delayed For 3 hours. Will never fly United. Alaska is way better"

Pros: "Good, easy"

Pros: "Flight to Austin was just fine."
Cons: "My flight back to bosie from San Francisco they changed the gate I didn't hear the change and missed my flight. I didn't get back to bosie until the next day."
