Cons: "The most uncomfortable experience ever! I was disturbed and/or woken up several times, during flight, by the flight attendances to place my seat in the upright position to accommodate the person sitting behind me who either wanted to drink alcoholic beverages every hour on the hour."

Cons: "After a three hour delay and missed connection and rebooked flight, that is when the service declined. We went through 4 different lines in the Dallas airport, almost missed the rebooked flight due to miscommunications and shuffling of where we were supposed to be. And now delayed luggage."

Cons: "Lost 2 of 3 bags. Still don’t have them. Some staff very helpful and empathetic. Some staff very rude and abrasive. Didn’t want to take ownership and work to correct the problem. Had a “not my problem” attitude"

Cons: "Alot of the check-in consoles were closed when we got to Brisbane which is the only way to check if you can't do it on line."

Cons: "I wasn’t given the seats I had chosen when purchasing the ($3,000) tickets. The seats in the “Dreamliner” were cramped and hard—uncomfortable."

Cons: "The iPads for the entertainment system were cumbersome. Initially they didn't work for the whole cabin and the FAs had to reboot the system. They were also finnicky to operate. Also, needing to stow them for take-off and landing was a bit cumbersome. It would be much better to use the traditional fixed screens."

Pros: "Just about everything was perfect. Friendly and most accommodating staff. Very good meals. Nice seats. Also great entertainment selections. This was our first time flying with Qantas Airline. Overall, this was the best flying experience we have had. Oher airline companies should learn from Qantas Airline!"

Pros: "Although we were seated in economy and legroom would be tight, we had a truly great flight. The staff are all sweet, smiling, considerate and helpful. The snacks kept coming and the meals were delicious! We’re were treated so nicely, I hope to always travel on Qantas to visit my grandkids. My last United flight wasn’t even close to being comparable. In fact, I dreaded the thought of the long flight but Qantas has changed my view and now I have NO reservations when contemplating future visits."
Cons: "My husband is a lacto ova vegetarian. If I checked that, then he wouldn’t have been able to pre-order the delicious vegetarian bechamel lasagne. He would’ve received a meal specifically designed for him. Best way to order next time in order to get the pre-ordered dinner/lunch and then the lacto ova for the breakfast?"

Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

Cons: "First I wasn't told I'd be going domestic . Arrived at the airport 4:30 to catch the internation flight @7:20. Funny thing is I was the only person around. There was the changing of shifts for ground & cleaning etc. No ticket booths. Put passport in kiosk,it said basically no. Finally a ticket agent showed up. She tried my passport ,and nothing. Checked threw the computer & it said leaving out of domestic. Go down to the end of the hall, can check in there. It's Qantas alright, not open till 7:00. Start to panic a bit. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

Cons: "Very hot in the Flight to LAX. Crew was trying to do a good job, just didn’t see them much. Food was bad. Will think twice about booking with quantas again ☹️"

Cons: "Boarding was a mess. One staff member trying to deal with a full flight of delayed and tired passengers. Given the delay out of NY (due to weather) connecting flight to melbourne was missed. Not happy that I was put on a flight to Sydney instead. Entertainment system is dated. Personal headphones don’t plug in and the interface was unresponsive. Expected better from qantas."

Pros: "Appreciate the leg room. I had a kit from business which included earplugs. Very grateful for them as there was a screaming baby nearby. Last time I could PE it was a different kit and had no buds. Staff were very friendly and excellent service all round."
Cons: "Food is not so good in Premium. Really notice the difference after flying Business, but I also heard Q recently changed provider. Pasta was bland, overcooked, uninspiring. Muesli tasted very sugary, like it was made with brown sugar. Not as healthy as the biz class meals."

Cons: "limit weight of roller carry on limited to 8 kg, though did not check weight of shoulder bags New Zealand immigration is intense with bio inspection - check that you do not have any nuts or other issues as took a long time to inspect packaged food bought at Sydney airport Prior to check-in, needed evidence of flight leaving New Zealand, not just confirm number - paper with actual ticket number"

Cons: "the plane was small, old, not comfortable and not remotely up to the standards that we expect from Qantas or the A380s we typically get from CA to SYD. If I book Qantas - I expect a certain level of service - otherwise, I would save the money and just go with the cheapest airline."

Pros: "I enjoyed the entertainment system. Unfortunately, I discovered season 6 of "Game of Thrones" too late to binge the entire season. The crew was friendly-- it was as comfortable as a 16 hour flight in the economy cabin can be."

Cons: "It's a long flight, so I get that the crew aren't necessarily in the cheeriest mood at all times. But it's a long flight for the passengers as well. Approaching one's duties with something more than stone-faced grimness would go a long way."

Cons: "We booked two vegan meals at the time we purchased plane tickets but the crew said they couldn't find our meal reservation, and didn't seem to care much that all they could offer us on a 14-hour flight was a couple fruit cups. Additionally, we had to land in Brisbane to refuel due to the "fog" in Sydney -- I checked other flights into Sydney later in the day and none others were re-routed due to fog -- which added almost 2 hours to our flight."

Cons: "The last time i flew was in 1999 when i was single and traveling NZ and Australia. This time i was taking my family. I had boasted to my fam that Quantas (was famous in my memory) as having economy seats that felt more like other airlines Business Seats. My kids were eager to experience the "Quantas" seats. I was severely dissapointed to find that your economy seats, now, are even smaller than the Chinese seats we regularly fly (we are in our 5th year of ex-pat assignment in China). You should have seen the look on my kids faces. Evidently, i must have "talked Quantas up too much", because there was a great deal of dissapointment. We will travel back to NZ and Aus., this fall, but will no longer prioritize Quantas as our airline of choise. I guess times change, and a little bit of nastalgia lost.... :("

Pros: "Food is good which is being served hot , even the bread is being served hot . The food is of the right portion .The crew is doing what they need to do for the passengers , quiet efficient , smile quite a lot thus making them feel more comfortable . The toilets are being kept clean . Keep it up !"
